The sensation of water sliding between her body and Hotsuma’s didn’t make sense to Lulu until she felt it gliding over her clit. The water rubbed and swirled, pulling a scream of ecstasy from her. She arched her back as she orgasmed.

Her pleasure doubled when she felt Hotsuma and Masato releasing hot liquid into her depths. Masato pulled out first after a grunting sigh. He laid a soft kiss on her lower back while Hotsuma reached up and grabbed the back of her head. He pulled her down to his mouth for a hard kiss that felt rougher than usual.

Lulu opened to the kiss, even enjoyed it, but she couldn’t push aside the feeling of it not being right. Hotsuma didn’t kiss like this, but Masato did. When he ended the kiss, she stared into his eyes. Had Hotsuma and Masato switched after all?

“Hotsuma?”

“Right here.” He kissed her nose and then smiled at her. “We didn’t switch.”

She sagged against him in relief. Her sigh turned to a muted moan of renewed pleasure as he slid his dick from her body. She shivered at the cool air that brushed her heated flesh.

Hotsuma sat up with her cradled on his lap and his arms around her waist.

Masato said, “Maybe next time we can switch for a few hours. Let me stretch my real legs for a while.”

Hotsuma tightened his hold on Lulu and said in an annoyed voice, “Next time is going to be a long time coming.”

Lulu couldn’t help it. She laughed. They had come together without the world ending. She still loved Hotsuma and he still loved her. Both of them tolerated Masato. Their relationship might not be ideal, but it would work. They would be happy.

Epilogue

Nine Years Later

Lulu reached under the sofa and retrieved a binder from its hiding place. “Makoto, I found it.”

The seven-year-old ran over to her. “Thanks, Mom.” He grabbed the binder and stuffed it into his backpack.

“Where’s Minoru?”

“Helping Sachi and Suzu with their breakfast.”

“Helping with their --”

“Mommy, make him stop!” The little girls’ angry voices blended into one.

Lulu groaned as she pushed to her feet and headed for the kitchen. To Makoto, she said, “Go stand by the door and don’t move.”

Makoto saluted her and rushed to the front door.

She entered the kitchen and found Makoto’s twin Minoru helping himself to Suzuko’s and Sachiko’s bacon. Typical morning in the Mizuno household. She snapped, “Minoru, out. Now.”

The little boy said, “They aren’t eating fast enough. I was helping.”

Suzuko pointed at her brother. “He’s eating our bacon. We were saving it for last.”

“Yeah,” Sachiko said.

Lulu went to the pan and pulled out the last four strips of bacon. She wrapped them in a paper towel and then held it out. “Sachiko, here. Share with your sister.”

The little girl ran over and took the bacon. “Thanks, Mommy.”

“Yes. Good. Everyone happy?”

The kids nodded. The bacon hanging from Minoru’s lips bobbed up and down. That was as good as it would get.

Lulu pointed to the kitchen door. “Out. Get your stuff and get down to the limo. I don’t want you getting to school late.”

“Okay,” the kids said in unison. They shuffled out of the kitchen with Sachiko guarding the bacon like a precious treasure.

When Lulu had imagined having children, she had never thought they would be taking a limo to school. A limo. For elementary school kids. Her plans to raise her children so they weren’t privileged and spoiled were going out the window. She blamed her husband’s family. They refused to let her raise her children in any way that might be mistaken for ordinary.

But she had known the Mizuno family would never leave them alone once they found out Sachiko and Suzuko were both
ageman
. The identical twin girls had both inherited their father’s power while Minoru and Makoto, her identical twin boys, had inherited her nullifier powers. So far as Lulu could tell, her boys inheriting her powers meant they could get in and out of locked rooms to play pranks on the hotel guests because that was all they used them for.

Their saving grace was that no one knew the boys were behind the pranks, and it was never anything too malicious -- building pyramids with the pillows or hiding the TV remotes. Lulu was convinced they’d inherited their mischievous attitude from Masato. He was proud of that fact.

She went to the front door to see her kids off. They each wore their backpacks and looked sharp in their school uniforms that denoted they went to the best private school in the state. “Everybody got everything?”

“Yes,” the kids said in unison.

“Good. Get downstairs. Be careful, and I’ll see you when you get home.”

The kids waved at her as they raced to the door that led to the stairwell.

Lulu yelled, “Wait! Don’t take the…” She gave up when the door closed behind them. Shaking her head, she asked the air, “Why do they always take the stairs?”

“Think of it as exercise,” Hotsuma said, coming in from the balcony. He must have used the hot spring to transport again. He refused to use the elevators, much like his children. “Good morning.”

“According to who?” She giggled when he pulled her close for a kiss.

Before his lips touched hers, he looked to the side and frowned. “Minoru, put Sachiko down now. No piggybacking while you’re on the stairs.” He paused. “I said no, young man.”

Lulu held her breath. The only reason she didn’t worry more about the kids taking the stairs was because there were fire extinguisher spigots at every landing, which meant Hotsuma or Masato could keep an eye on them.

Hotsuma said, “Thank you. Now walk like normal.” He sighed and shook his head. “I’m beginning to think the boys might be Masato’s. They resemble him more than me, and we were switched that one time.”

“You might be right. Though it’s not like we can take a paternity test to find out.”

He shrugged. “It doesn’t matter. Him or me, it’s the same body.”

“Speaking of… Let me go rescue my last born from him.” Lulu rushed to the bathroom, but had to stop in the doorway. The entire floor was covered in water. “Masato! I told you to give Aoi a bath, not drench the place!”

Masato gestured to the tub where Aoi, Lulu’s one-year-old son, sat on top of a waterspout. “I am giving him a bath. Or I was. He did all this himself.”

Lulu closed her eyes and prayed for strength. Aoi was the only child to inherit control of water. She thanked God for that small favor every single day. Bath time became that much more interesting when the child could fling an entire tubful of water across the room.

She took a bracing breath and then waded into the room and retrieved her son. He laughed and waved his arms, making the water on the floor spin until it formed tiny funnels. She tweaked his nose. “Yes, yes, you’re very clever.”

Masato said, “Don’t worry. It’s an easy fix.” He swept his hand to the side. The water rushed into the tub and disappeared down the drain, leaving the floor dry. “See? All better.”

She walked away without comment. Of all her children, she worried about Aoi the most. His powers could get him into trouble in the future if he let the wrong person catch him using them.

As though hearing her thoughts, Hotsuma said, “It’ll be okay, Lulu. Once Aoi is older, Masato and I will teach him to better control his powers and not to use them in public. He’ll be fine, just like his siblings.”

“I hope so. I really hope so.” She hugged Aoi close. “I don’t want him ending up some lab rat, but I don’t want to keep him locked away from the world, either.”

“Neither of those things will happen. I promise you. He is a Mizuno. Between Sachiko, Suzuko, and I, our powers will ensure no one ever catches him. He’ll be fine.” Hotsuma kissed her neck and then moved her shirt aside so he could place a kiss on her shoulder. “It’s his naptime, right?”

Lulu moved away from him. “Oh, no you don’t. Sex during naptime is how we got this one.”

“Yes it is. You had to keep your voice down so you didn’t wake the children. I remember you enjoying yourself quite a bit.”

“Me too,” Masato said, coming out of the bathroom.

Aoi yawned wide, blowing milk-scented air into her face. She rubbed his back when he laid his head on her shoulder. She nodded. “You’re right. It is his naptime.”

Masato and Hotsuma shared a grin. They would be sharing her in a few minutes. She looked at the two men in turn. One in a regular body and the other in a body made of water. Lulu couldn’t remember when the boundaries and cold acceptance fell away, allowing her, Hotsuma, and Masato to enter into the loving relationship they now had. It had happened though.

One day Hotsuma stopped glaring every time Masato touched Lulu. Masato stopped doing things to goad Hotsuma. And Lulu found that she felt more than lust for Masato. Their love created five beautiful children.

She walked to the nursery but said over her shoulder, “After I put him down, I’ll see you two on the balcony.”

Masato held his fist out to Hotsuma, who bumped it with his own. The men headed for the balcony. Hotsuma said something and clapped Masato on the back a few times. Masato laughed then nodded. Lulu smiled at them both then entered the nursery.

She placed Aoi in his crib and pushed his favorite plush dolphin near his side. He curled around it, falling asleep before Lulu straightened to leave. She closed the nursery door softly behind her then headed for her men.

Hotsuma and Masato stood on the surface of the hot springs talking. When Lulu stepped onto the balcony, they looked her way and each held one hand out to her. She started unbuttoning her blouse as she walked across the water to them. No matter how they’d started the journey, Lulu was happy they were doing it together.
