CHAPTER EIGHT
Ayana
It was another night that Anthony didn't come home. When I tried to call his phone, it went straight to voicemail. I kept calling back to back, but there was no answer. I wasn't no fool. I knew he was fucking around on me. The nigga was weak as fuck, 'cause he had a good woman at home. Instead of him being here with his family, I bet he was out there running around with a dumb bitch. Whoever that bitch was, she needed to know that he came as a package that included me and his fucking daughters.

where and if that bitch want him, she gon' have to take these ass whuppings I got waiting on her.
After I put the girls to bed, I went into the kitchen and poured a glass of Patrón. I needed something strong to wash away some of this pain I was feeling. After I drank two glasses, I was no longer feeling self-pity. I felt powerful and like I was in control. I dialed Anthony's number again, but he didn't answer. I wasn't in the mood to leave no voice messages. Instead, I hung up and scrolled through my phone and found Tahj's number. He was Anthony's rival/enemy. A few months ago they had a big beef. I wasn't in it but I knew Tahj from when I worked at the club. He usually dropped a lot of paper on me, so in my book he was an a'ight dude. After that shit went down with him and Ant, I ran into him at the grocery store. It was then when we talked and he told me that if I needed anything to holla at him. I didn't say much. I just smiled and put his number in my phone. I had no intention of calling this rat-ass nigga but tonight I felt the need to call him. I was hurting so bad inside and, not to mention, I was lonely. I pressed send on the phone and waited as it rang.
“Hello,” his sexy but rough voice echoed through the phone. I thought about hanging up, but quickly decided not to.
“Hello, this is Ayana,” I responded.
“Ayana. Ayana, ummm . . .”
“Anthony baby mama,” I helped jog his memory.
“Oh, yeah, my bad, love. I have a bad memory. Charge it to the high-grade weed.” He chuckled.
“No problem. I'm just calling to see what's going on with you.”
“Ain't shit. Just chilling, you know?”
“I was calling to see if you wanted to chill.”
“Is that a trick question? You know damn well a nigga been trying to get at you for a minute now.”
“Oh, yeah? Well, I'm feeling kind of lonely and I need some company.”
“Hell yeah. Where you at?”
“I'm at home in Lithonia.”
He paused when I said that, then he spoke. “Is that a joke? Don't that nigga Ant live with you? What kinds of games you playing?” His sweetness turned to annoyance real fast.
“Yes, he stay here, but he ain't here. Matter of fact, that nigga out fucking some other bitch, so why should I be worried about him? You not scared of him are you?” I knew that statement would grab his attention.
“Yo, you should know me better than that. I ain't scared of that pussy nigga. Shit I'll come through and beat up the pussy for you real quick. Text me your address.”
“A'ight, cool. See you in a few.”
I hung up the phone and flopped down on the couch. I knew what I did was a violation, but I didn't give a fuck about Anthony right now. He didn't care about me or my fucking kids so why should I give a fuck? I got up, poured me another drink, and got in the shower. I washed my pussy thoroughly and douched. I wanted it right for this nigga, 'cause one thing a nigga wouldn't say was my pussy be stinking.
I got out of the shower and oiled my body down with some baby oil. I wanted that shiny look; plus, I heard rumors that Tahj had a horse dick and, if it was true, I wanted that dick to slip right in.
In no time, I heard my phone ringing. “Hello.”
“I'm pulling up. Open the door.”
I hung up, walked to my daughters' room, and peeped in. They were fast asleep, which was good. I couldn't risk my oldest daughter, Dominique, telling her daddy that another man was over here; and I didn't want them to hear their mama screaming for mercy.
I pulled their room door all the way closed and ran downstairs. I opened the door and he was standing there looking sexy as fuck. He wasn't the cutest nigga but his swag was on 1,000, which made him a sexy motherfucker in my world. Tahj was the kind of nigga who made your drawers wet instantly.
“Come in,” I said and motioned him to come in. I knew he was in dangerous territory and, all along in my heart, I was praying that Ant didn't pop up. I knew it wouldn't end too pretty if he ever found out that I'd had this nigga in the house.
“Hey, love. How you been?”
“I'm good, just going through a little bullshit with ol' boy. Other than that, I'm good.”
“Shit, you must love it. You need to get rid of that lame-ass nigga and come fuck wit' a real G.”
“You might be right, but you know that's my baby daddy and the girls love him.”
“Shit, let that nigga play Daddy. That don't mean you gotta give that nigga the pussy.”
“You right,” I concurred.
Without saying anything else, I pulled his hand all the way up the stairs. I knew that I was pressed for time so I didn't waste any more time with small talk. I stripped out of all my clothing revealing my freshly trimmed pussy and my big breasts, which stood firm because of the breast implants I got when I was dancing. I saw his eyes pop open. I didn't think my body was what he imagined.
“Damn, love, you ain't wasting no time,” he said as he unbuckled his belt. I watched seductively as he took his boxers off revealing that big-ass dick that resembled a horse dick. I saw that them bitches weren't exaggerating when they said that nigga was packing.
We started kissing and rubbing on one another. My pussy was tingling as he rubbed his dick between my legs. I wanted his dick. I was hungry to get fucked the right way. We didn't waste another minute as I slid his dick into my wet pussy.
“Aargh,” I groaned out as his dick made its way to my insides. It felt good but it also hurt. Even though I used baby oil, it still felt like I was a virgin getting fucked for the first time.
I closed my eyes as he held my legs apart and dug all through my guts. I wanted to scream out but I couldn't. I feared that if I did, I would wake my daughters up. “Uhh, uhh,” I groaned and moaned.
I dug my fingers into his arm as he applied pressure to my pussy. I was low key loving it. I just wished he were a little smaller. He fucked me for about thirty minutes without letting up. I came over and over, spilling my rich, creamy juice all over his dick.
“Damn, love, this pussy on point,” he grumbled.
That kind of gave me the courage to throw the pussy on him. I used all my inner strength and matched all the strokes he was throwing. I knew he was trying hard not to cum because he would ease out a little bit each time. I didn't have time for that shit, so I sped up my moves and before you knew it he had pulled out and busted all on my stomach.
“Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh,” he screamed out.
I know the pussy is good but I wish he'd shut the fuck up.
He got up off me and sat on the side of the bed. I got up and ran to the bathroom. I grabbed a washcloth, wet it, and brought it back to him. I thought about taking a quick shower, but decided it would be best that I do that after he left.
“Here, use this and wipe yourself off. I don't know what time Anthony's coming home, so you might need to hurry up. You know he'll flip out if he found out that I had you up in here. I don't know what you did to him, but whatever it is he does not like you.”
“Fuck that pussy nigga. He 'ont want to really see me. The only reason why I ain't burn his ass already is 'cause of my sister. For some reason she still in love with his ass.”
“What you mean? Ant used to fuck with your sister?” I quizzed him.
“Used to? Man, up until to a few months ago, that nigga and my sister was messing around. After the shit popped off with me and him, she promised me not to fuck wit' that nigga.”
I stood there shocked as hell, but I tried not to show it.
“Why you looking shocked for? You really thought you was the only one he was fucking? Shit, word on the street is that pussy nigga is fucking one of the bitches he go to school with. So, ma, you need to quit worrying 'bout a nigga who don't give a fuck 'bout you.”
“I ain't worried about nothing. I'm good over here, trust that. Anyway, I hope I get to see you again.”
“Shit, just hit a nigga up whenever you want that pussy beat up. I'ma holla at you 'bout something in the middle of the week.”
“Okay. I'll call you.”
I walked him downstairs and as soon as he was out the door I slammed it shut. I was happy he was gone, but I was mad as hell at the information that he'd just disclosed. I knew that nigga was fucking around on me, but every time I asked him, he lied and said that he was faithful. I felt so stupid because I actually fell for that bullshit.
I cut the lights off and walked up the stairs. Tears welled up in my eyes as I thought about him fucking that bitch; she wasn't even all that. Old raggedy-ass bitch. This nigga straight played me and, to make matters worse, the whole fucking hood knew.
I grabbed my cell and dialed my bitch Lori.
“Hello, bitch. You better be dying or locked up calling my damn phone this time of the night,” she spat with an attitude.
“Bitch, whatever, lemme ask you a question. You ever hear any rumors that Ant was fucking that bitch Yanique?”
“Nah, why?”
“That's what I just heard.”
“Bitch, please, you know Ant got a few dollars so bitches gon' always claim that they fucking him. Don't fall for the foolery; he loves you and them kids.”
“Nah, fuck that, I believe it. Tahj just told me that shit and he ain't the kind of nigga to make up some shit like that especially about his sister.”
“Bitch, so he just came out and told you that shit? You know him and Ant don't get along, so he might be just trying to throw salt on Ant's name.”
“Nah, he told me that shit after I fucked him.”
“Tell me you playing. How the fuck did you manage to pull that off? Bitch, you is trippin'.”
“I ain't trippin'. That nigga been playing me for too long. I am sick of his ass for real, so I called Tahj and gave him the pussy.”
“You know I love you right? Just be careful. I don't want Ant to find that shit out; and don't be too quick to trust Tahj either. He may be just using you to get to Ant.”
“Damn, bitch, you gave me a whole speech and shit. We not in church. Trust me, I know what I'm doing.” I laughed.
“Well, on that note, I'm taking my ass to bed. Got work in the a.m. I will call you tomorrow when I get off.”
“A'ight, bitch.”
Her words played out in my head after I got off the phone. I never thought of it like that. I just wanted to get back at Ant. I was tired of being lonely and sitting in this damn house with these fucking kids while he ran the streets without any care in the world. Nah, I didn't feel bad for what I did, not at all!
I went into the shower and washed off, then got dressed and got in the bed. I didn't bother to change the streets either.
Fuck that. If he ever makes it home, he will have to lie on the sheets that I fucked his rival on. Two can definitely play the game,
I thought as I dozed off.
CHAPTER NINE
Tiana
Micah asked me to move in with him. I was kind of reluctant because even though we were together and I was carrying his child, I didn't know how it was going to be. Besides I'd heard several stories about how dudes change up once the babies are born. My best friend/sister Ayana often complained about her baby daddy.
Speaking of Ayana, it'd been a couple of months since we last spoke. I didn't know what it was but in my heart I felt like things had changed between us. After I moved out and started college, I would go by to see her, but each visit she just seemed so distant and I noticed that the bond we once shared wasn't as tight as before. Every time we talked she would constantly mention the other bitches she hung out with. I wasn't jealous or anything but I was sick and tired of hearing about bitches who were clubbing, fucking, and sucking. I didn't want to hurt my girl's feelings so I just sat there and listened. I ain't gon' lie though, I did miss her. I planned on visiting her tomorrow after class so I could give her the good news about my pregnancy.
* * *
After class, I quickly walked out and spotted Micah standing with a group of dudes. I walked up and he excused himself. “What up, babe, you want to grab a bite?”
“Nah, I'm about to go see my girl in Lithonia for a little. I haven't been to see her in a while.”
“Oh, okay, that's cool. I'm about to head to Atlanta to hang wit' the niggas for a little while. Hit me when you get home and I'll come through. By the way how you feeling?”
“I can't seem to get rid of the nausea and these headaches, but other than that I'm getting used to this pregnancy thing.”
“Well, I wish I could go through it wit' you, but if there is anything I can do, just let me know,” he said as he rubbed my stomach. The touch of his hand sent electric warmth through my body. This was my first pregnancy and I was happy that I had him to share it with.
“A'ight, later.” I kissed him and we parted ways.
On the way to my car I couldn't help but smile. I loved that man and I felt so blessed that he entered my life. He was a street dude and most times they're known for being dogs and players. Not him though; he treated me like his queen.
I dialed Ayana's phone number, which I had stored in my phone. I hoped she didn't change it on me because then I would have had to stop by her mother's house to get it.
“Hello,” she answered the phone interrupting my thoughts.
“Hey, sis.”
“Hey, you. I didn't know that was you.”
“Are you at the same spot? I'm on the way to see you.”
“No, I'm not. I'm on Rock Chapel Road.”
“Okay, text me the address. I'm leaving the school now and, depending on traffic, I'll be there in about twenty minutes.”
“Okay, chick, see you in a little while.”
I hung the phone up and saw that a text had come through. I opened it so I could put the address in my GPS. I cut the radio on as I drove on I-20 thinking about my life with my man and my baby. I wasn't sure about having this child but, after today, I was surer than ever. I wanted to have my baby and give him or her the love that I never had. I vowed to be the best mother I could be, even though the bitch who birthed me was a piece of shit. I promised myself that I wasn't going to be anything like her. I was determined to protect mines by any means necessary.
I pulled into her driveway and was kind of thrown off because here was this beautiful brick house in a nice neighborhood. I knew damn well that she couldn't afford this unless she was back dancing. See, Ayana used to dance at Blue Flame over on the west side and she used to make good money. I never approved of her shaking her ass for money but she was my bitch, so I supported whatever she chose to do. I rang the doorbell as I took a quick glance of the area. All the houses were big and beautiful with nice lawns.
“Hey, chick,” she greeted me as she opened the doors.
“Hey, sis, how you been?” I said as I gave her a big hug. I walked into the spacious living room.
“Sit down. I was just about to straighten up.”
“No worries. I just came to see you. I miss you. We haven't been talking like we used to.”
“I know. You got school and I got children. The story of my life,” she said sarcastically.
“How your mama doing?”
“She's fine; she got the kids over there with her right now.”
“Really? She don't drink no more?” I quizzed her.
“Tiana, what does her drinking have to do with her watching the kids?” she asked with an attitude.
“Calm down, A, I was only asking a question.”
“Sorry, I didn't mean to snap. I'm just under a lot of stress right now. My dude is cheating on me and hasn't been home in three days. I've been calling him and he never answers.”
“Really? That's the kids' daddy, right? How long this been going on?”
“To be honest, T, this shit been going on for a minute but I didn't want to see it. Now he just straight disrespectful. He hasn't been home to check on me or the girls. I swear, I can't do this shit anymore.”
“Did you talk to him about it? You can't let these niggas do what they want to do, you know that. Put his ass out. You're a strong person; you don't need no nigga to survive. You better put his ass on child support.”
“Girl, trust me I ain't stuttin' that nigga. I already got him back when I fucked his worst enemy in our bed. That nigga must not know who he fucking with for real.”
I was shocked by her last statement. Damn, I wanted her to get the nigga back, but to fuck another nigga in the bed they shared was just lowdown. I looked at her and all I saw was evil. No love, just pure, dark evil. I felt bad for the nigga because whatever she had up her sleeve was not good at all.
“Enough about me and my fucked-up life. What's going on with you, Miss College Lady?”
“Girl, nothing, I have another year to go, then I will get my associate's degree in psychology. Then I plan on going to another school to get my bachelor's.”
“You go, girl. Ever since we were growing up, you were always the one with the brains.”
“I got something to tell you,” I blurted out.
“What, bitch, you won some money?” She laughed.
“Nah, better than that. I'm pregnant.”
“You pregnant? I didn't even think you were fucking.”
“Bitch, bye. I ain't no fucking Virgin Mary. You must've forgot the shit we used to do when we were young.”
“That don't count, 'cause I plan on taking that shit to the grave. But anyways, are you serious? Who is the lucky baby daddy?”
“You don't know him; we go to the same school. We have been seeing each other for a minute now. It wasn't planned, but it happened, so here I am knocked up.” I smiled.
“Well, congrats, boo, and welcome to motherhood. I hope your baby daddy is way better than mines, 'cause these bum-ass niggas be sweet as fuck before the babies.”
“Well, I think my boo is kind of different. He already has two daughters and he is great with them. His old dumbass baby mama is the one who be acting up. I'm trying to tell him to get custody of the girls and we can raise them. He told me so many stories about the stupid shit she be doing. I swear some of these bitches make it hard for the rest of us.”
“Yeah, but you can't really listen to a nigga when he pillow talks. Some these niggas will say anything to get the pussy and they be straight up lying. Just make sure that this is what you want, because being a mama ain't all it's pumped up to be.”
“I got you. I just know he is different from these other dudes.”
“Yeah, a'ight. Anyway, when am I gonna meet this Mr. Wonderful? What did you say his name was?”
“His name is Micah.”
“What a coincidence. Ant's middle name is Micah. I pray he ain't nothing like Anthony.”
I didn't respond. I just smiled. She seemed bitter. Whatever that dude did to her, it definitely took a toll on her.
We chatted for a little while longer then I decided to leave. “Well, I'm about to go. I have to go study. How about we set up a date so I can meet my brother-in-law and you can meet yours?”
“I would love that; that's if Ant and I stay together. Call me and we can definitely do dinner.”
“All right, sis, take care. We need to talk more. I really miss you and my nieces. Say hi to Mama for me when you see her.”
“I sure will. You know she asks about you all the time.”
I hugged her and went out the door noticing the sun was still beaming down. I loved warm weather but, for some reason, since I'd been pregnant it kind of bothered me. I was ready to go home and lie down under the AC.
I got into my car and pulled off but, before I could turn, I looked up and I saw Ayana peeping through the curtains. Something didn't seem right with her. I couldn't put my hands on it, but she was so different from the girl I grew up with. I swear I sensed jealousy and nothing but negative vibes coming from her. I drove down the street in total silence as I replayed in my head something that she said:
“What a coincidence. Ant's middle name is Micah. I pray he ain't nothing like Anthony.” Oh, hell no, I hope not,
I thought as I sped all the way to Decatur.
I called Micah as soon as I got to the house. I was too eager to see him. I hoped what I was thinking was wrong, but there were too many coincidences: Micah had two daughters; Ayana's baby daddy had two daughters. And they had similar names. Was she the one he was talking about? Her drunken mother, his baby mama from hell; could it really be my best friend?
“Calm down, it's just coincidence,” I tried to coach myself. I rubbed my stomach and walked into the shower. I needed to relax a little and water always soothes my soul.
I must've dozed off because I heard footsteps, so I jumped up and saw Micah standing over me.
“I was trying not to wake you.”
“It's fine, I need to get up anyway. I need to talk to you.”
“What's up, you good?”
“Yes, I'm fine. I need to ask you a question.”
“Ask away.”
“What's your baby mother's name?”
“What is this about?”
“I think I went to school with her. What's her name?”
“Ayana.”
The walls started to close in. I felt dizzy and my vision became blurred. “I don't feel too good,” I mumbled as everything went dark.
