“Do you have any outside cameras?”

“They would have to be high tech to handle the cold and protected from snow and ice. It would make them expensive.”

“I’m sure Origin had some way to see if the facility was approached. Setting off alarms is one way to test security and lull
you into a poor response. If Origin intended to attack that’s what they would do first. Didn’t you guys ever use that strategy?”

“No, we were only sent in to assault once the groundwork was laid. They had a human team that did the preparations. We never met any of them.”

“Sounds to me like they wanted to limit your abilities to keep you dependent on them.”

“Yes, and it worked. We almost overlooked what m
ight be the preparations for an assault. Kyler certainly hasn’t helped us.”

“Kyler is all about assault too, but he has team members like Brenda who should recognize the tactics.”

“They either are not smart enough or they intend us to fail in protecting our home.”

“Let me help you with this, Zeus. Give me some
of your males and I will train them as we go. Find one that is good at trickery and deception to be in charge of them.”

“Do you know who the Greek
’s god of discord was?”

“I can’t say that I do. Hermes was god of liars and mischief.”

“Yes, but they had no god of discord or strife, only the goddess Eris, so our god of discord is Eres. Many of the goddess names were changed to masculine forms. He will be good to second you in this.”

Zeus summoned him and moments later Eres came to the meeting room. Sierra thought him very young looking with an easy smile and mischief shining in his
reddish brown eyes. His hair was black, the most common color among the gods, his skin a tan color. Frisky was the word that came to mind as he greeted her earning a growl from Zeus. He was a ladies man, the first she had found among the gods.

“Sorry, great Zeus.” He said with a bow and a flourish of his hands. “I did not realize she was yours.” He sent an audacious wink and grin her way.

“She is mine so never forget it again. I have an assignment for you. Gather a team of…”

“Ten for now till we see what is going on.” Sierra supplied the number for him.

“A team of ten that are not assigned elsewhere. Pick those who are stealthy and devious of mind.” Zeus looked to Sierra who nodded in approval. Zeus sent him on his way to assemble a team.

“He seems very young.”

“He is as old as I am but he keeps young through mischief and jokes.”

“I can believe it, he looks like a prankster.”

Sierra’s phone went off, it was a text from Doc marked urgent. “Zeus, I must go, Doc needs me.” Zeus nodded as she took off walking quickly. Was it her test results or something else entirely? She rounded the corner rushing into the lab. The conflicted look on Doc’s face did little for her already stretched emotions. Doc ushered her into the small office she used closing the door.

“Is it my results?”

“Yes, it is amazing and unbelievable.”

“In a good way?”

“That depends on what you are looking for. Just let me put this as straight forward and simple as I can. You are starting to show similarities to the gods in your blood. I have taken blood voluntarily from many of them and you most closely resemble Zeus.”

“I’m going to fucking kill him.”

“He’s transforming you isn’t he?”

“It certainly sounds like it doesn’t it?”

“I guess he didn’t ask, then forgot to tell you?”

“Is it reversible?”

“I wouldn’t even begin to know how. I’m sorry, Sierra.”

“Not as sorry as he’s going to be.” Sierra left with a full head of steam straight back to the meeting room where she last saw Zeus. She was so angry, she struggled not to cry.
Was that a female thing or did some men get mad enough to cry too?

She arrived at the meeting room where Zeus was talking to some of his males still. She waited impatiently and he seemed to notice she wasn’t in a good mood. He quickly finished with his males before closing the door. “Doc told you about the change you are going through?”

“Yes, how could you? I wasn’t dreaming you bit me, was I? Why weren’t there bite marks, how did you put me to sleep, what kind of changes can I expect, and why me? You knew I wanted to be free.”

“No, you weren’t dreaming. The shallow bites I gave you heal quickly because of something in the saliva that also dims pain and causes sleepiness as a side effect. You will be faster, stronger,
your senses sharper, and you’ll notice an increase in intelligence. It allows you to access a dormant part of your brain. I didn’t choose you, not really. Nature chose us for each other and I couldn’t resist the pull, I know you felt it too. Maybe your will was stronger than mine but I couldn’t help myself. I will never be able to help myself around you, Sweetheart.”

“I don’t know what to say. You should have ask
ed me, barring that, you should have admitted to what you had done. I was ill the whole time I was gone and I didn’t know why. I saw the changes but I thought I was crazy. I just can’t be around you right now, I need to think. I can’t think when you’re near.” She could see the hurt on his face before he hid it. He was sensitive emotionally for such a strong powerful man. It made her feel bad to bring that look to his face but damn it, he was wrong to do the things he had without her consent. She had loved her daddy more than anything in the world but he had been a man like Zeus. He had made decisions for her mom that had hurt her in the long run. Of course it was his lack of control that had hurt Mom the most. He had been a handsome man sought after by females, but he couldn’t say no even after he was married. Sierra had eight sisters but only two were full sisters though all had been born during his marriage to her mom.

It made her wonder if Zeus would be like him in that way too. Would he give in to a desire for other women the second she wasn’t at his side
? She wasn’t her mother, she would never put up with that from any man. Her mom had stood beside her dad through thick and thin only to lose him before the age of forty in the last year before he planned to retire from military service. He had died on another continent, far from home but helping others while in the service of his country. Sad, but dying during military service was a tradition in her family at least for the rare male that was born a Dunlevy.

She blinked back the tears that always surfaced when she thought of her dad. She had other problems to concentrate on and they were in the here and now.
She went down the hall to the room that housed the main computer and what security systems they knew the facility had. It just didn’t seem adequate for a facility this size with few cameras and only one main alarm that triggered for breaches but didn’t indicate where they were. Something wasn’t right, she was sure they were missing a large part of the security puzzle. If there were more cameras outside, someone would have to go out there to find them. Inside, she was sure there had to be a room to view the cameras and watch the security sensors. This had been a military base so even outdated equipment would be better than none so there was no reason to strip down what security was already there.

The thought occurred to her that they had hidden it as a countermeasure in case the gods tried to take over. If that was true, personnel could still be there ready to direct an assault on the facility to reclaim Cronos and some or
all of the gods. They would lose the facility, but the real value here was in their living resources. Sierra wrote up a plan to search out any hidden rooms or bunkers outside the facility. A slow methodical search should reveal anything they had missed and she would ask for use of the satellite briefly to see if it showed anything. Tomorrow she would start on her new task, tonight she would invite over some sympathetic female companionship so she would feel better.

She got on her com contacting Doc, Way, and Brandi, to invite them over after work. She went by the cafeteria appropriating what she needed to make some pizzas. Her room didn’t have a kitchen but Brandi’s did so she too
k it over for the get together instead. Doc was bringing some alcohol and Way had a box of movies so they were set. Sierra got to Brandi’s place setting to work on a good variety of pizzas. Once she started cooking them, they smelled so good she worried that they would be over run with extra guests. The cafeteria wasn’t bad but they never made pizza. She had extra dough so she made a couple big dump cakes using cherry and blueberry pie filling she found in Brandi’s kitchen.

The girls seemed to know when the pizza was done coming in as she pulled the first one out of the oven.
They all sat down to have a piece while Doc handed them each a cold beer. “Got together with Zeus, did you?” Way ask between bites of pizza.

“How did you know?” Sierra ask surprised but she really shouldn’t be.

“The heated looks shooting between the two of you just about burned everyone in the room, Hon. Besides, Kyler just about had a stroke when he drew the same conclusion. He’s already reported his suspicions to his superior.”

“I guess I won’t be here much longer.”

“Wrong, they’re hoping your relationship will soften him towards the US.”

“Of course they would look for an advantage in it. I bet that pissed of Kyler.”

“You’ve no idea. Watch your back and Zeus’ since he’s not used to political plotting.”

“We’re not getting on well right now.”

“You don’t say. I would have never guessed.” Way said rolling her eyes.

“Make up with the man. He’s a fucking sex god and don’t waste your time telling me he isn’t hot stuff in bed too.” Doc tossed into the conversation. It seemed all the girls thought she should forgive and forget so she could get Zeus back in bed. Sierra had to admit the idea had merit, just the thought of him holding her made her heat. The rest of the evening continued along the same vein until half drunk, everyone headed to their own rooms and beds. She was walking along on the way to her room when someone stepped out in her path. She wasn’t impaired, not really but she still managed to run right into a hard male body. One deep breath told her it was Zeus and just his scent made her go half crazy with need. He picked her up carrying her into
his rooms, she didn’t protest although she wasn’t sure why not.

“I missed you.” He whispered into her ear
, his breath tickling her skin as he spoke. Just that little contact made goose bumps break out on her skin as heat rushed through her.

“I missed you, too.” She admitted before she took the time to think. “But I’m still mad at you.”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know how to handle things between us. I’ve never had a relationship or known a female like you.”

“Is that good or bad?”

“You’re good when you’re bad. Wanna be bad right now?”

“Hell yeah.” She said as their lips met in a searching kiss before it turned deeper. She couldn’t resist the
things he made her feel. If it was from what he had done to her or just the natural attraction she had felt the instant they met, she couldn’t say. All she knew was that she wanted him to the point that it hurt to deny it, so she would take him until the desire was gone. In the back of her mind there was something she needed to remember but the second he touched her all rational thought was gone.

She woke slowly trying to remember what she had done.

She felt movement realizing she wasn’t alone but once again she’d given in to her desire for the handsome god. He made her give in when she should run. He was gorgeous but it went beyond that, she felt like they were kindred souls meant to be together. If she fought against it, fought against him, it was a losing battle. She had never believed in fate before but it was like they were destined to be together. It was like the universe had conspired to set in motion a plan where they became addicted to each other. He reached for her even though they had made love until the early morning hours. It seemed that gods were insatiable and she was becoming just like him.

Zeus pulled her on top of him running his hands down her back until he squeezed her ass cheeks to encourage her. She licked her way down his neck to his chest where she licked his brown nipples until they beaded up hard which made him groan. He reached down to grab her breasts gently massaging them then moving to her nipples to tweak them until they were rock hard.

“Baby, please, I need to be inside you. I ache to feel your tight wet pussy wrap around my cock.”

She shivered with desire feeling her core grow wet with need for him. She moved her hips up as one hand guided him to her entrance. She sank slowly feeling immense pleasure as she sank down on him inch by inch. She moaned at the feeling of
fullness as he was fully inside, enjoying the feel of him as she wiggled on top of him before she started rocking back and forth. Faster and harder, she moved over him drowning in his beauty, his sensuality. She froze as pleasure overcame her and she screamed his name in a long keening sound. Her pussy gripped him, squeezing so hard she felt every part of him including the jets of hot semen that filled her.

Shit! They had forgotten to use a condom again.
What was wrong with her that the moment he touched her all reason flew from her head. If she wasn’t careful, she was going to get knocked up, could already be knocked up. “Zeus, we need to start using condoms or we’re going to end up with a baby.”
