Her hands are on my chest providing support as she grinds against me... and then she loops her hips up and lifts her pussy up along my shaft, before plunging back down and grinding back along my groin.

I’m not going to last long, and I grab a pillow to cover my face so I can moan loudly into it.

Jade doesn’t take kindly to that, pu
lling the pillow off just as I’m about to groan into it, and throwing it over the other side of the room, all while she’s grinding down on me.  I can’t help but make a noise that can’t be interpreted by anyone outside of this room as anything other than what it is.

I growl at my loss of control underneath her, and
finally lose my ability to capitulate... grabbing her up, I twist us around, while I remain inside her, and I slam her back down on the mattress underneath me and continue our intimacy with a change in command.  I lift just one of her legs this time, and I’m pounding myself into her, rather than grinding against her slowly like she was doing to me.  It has my mind near exploding, and my cock crying in thanks.

Jade.

I’ve lost control of the situation
. Ben has flipped me over and has begun pounding my pussy with his cock.  The friction caused is delicious and it’s driving me to a heady orgasm fast.  He’s on the cusp too, but he’s straining to hold it in till he feels me coming as well.

“Come on Red.” He encourages me.  “Come for me.”

I can feel it building rapidly like a wave that is about to drag me under, and I lift my face to his and try to kiss him, but he’s out of reach.

“Fuck.” He whispers, and then mashes his lips to mine, opening his mouth and exploring the depths of mine with his tangy tasting tongue, that
still has traces of my pussy lingering.  It makes my pulse increase exponentially, and I lift my hips to his so his pounding cock meets no resistance other than the pulsing walls of my vagina in orgasm.

He’s moaning desperately into my mouth now as we explode together
.

He slows down and his laboured and trembling breaths
imitate my own.  I feel sated, but desire is still pooling... I’ll need to do this over, and over... and over again.

“You’re something else, you know that?” he smiles at me and kisses me softly.  He pulls back and looks at me.  “I am so happy I waited for you to come around.” He says, dropping his face into my neck and nuzzling me there.  “I can’t imagine anything more perfect!” he says genuinely.

“Me neither!” I acquiesce.

The upshot of this last couple of days has
served to convince me that I need Ben.  To fight for me... to fight with me, and to fight alongside me!

“Do you really want me to move in with you, or are you talking a whole lot of bullshit?” I ask as he carefully pulls the condom off himself and ties a knot in it, before discarding it on the floor.

He looks at me with a mixture of contentment and nervousness.

“I really want you to move in with me!” he says carefully, like he senses a trap.

“What if I make you miserable and you end up wanting to kill me?” I ask.

“You already do that!” he points out, “And I still want to have you in my bed every night.” He explains.

“What if you end up hating me?” I ask softly.

“Jade
, I can’t see the future, I don’t have a crystal ball, and I don’t know how to bend time so I can see through a convenient wormhole and view a possible futuristic outcome.  What I can do is recognise what I have with you, and reconcile that with what I’ve never had with another person.” He argues, pulling me into the covers of the bed and holding me beneath him.  “I can’t say you won’t at same stage cause me such tremendous grief that I’ll not want to continue being with you.  But I can say that I can’t imagine that you’ll ever hurt me that much.” He breathes deep, nuzzling my face with his nose and kissing me softly on the lips, before continuing.  “As long as you try to keep us on track, and I promise I’ll do the same; we have a better chance than most at making it to the finish line in one piece.” He promises.

“You make it sound like a battle.” I sigh.

“It is, it’s an obstacle course where both members of the team are required to keep their eye on the prize, and each other, in order to navigate the course and come out the other side as victors!” he states.

“And you know this because?” I ask
, because for someone who hasn’t done it, he sounds like he knows the itinerary.

“Because I have been surrounded by it, and I always knew I wanted it
, but I never could find the right person to share the journey with... not that I was looking for them that hard either.” He points out.

“Okay
, and what do you think about me?” I ask, attempting to sink into the bed to escape.

“Is this the moment where you want me to talk about the L word?” he asks me smiling.

“I don’t know; I’m not sure!” I say honestly.  It’s not what I was intending on getting at when I started asking questions.

“I’ve already told you I’m in love with you
, I shouted it out so the world could hear me!” he categorically states, referring to his big meltdown that ended up with me coming here a day later.  It also points to the fact that I haven’t told him!

“I’m not sure that counts
; you also told me you hate me.” I pout.

“I was angry at you
, I was so damned angry that I felt I could combust on the spot and a huge mushroom cloud would be the only thing to indicate I had been there at all!” he chuckles.

“Do you want me to move in with you?” I ask again.

“Yes!” he answers promptly.

“It’s rather quick!” I point out.

“I don’t have time to fucking waste like some people; happiness comes at a premium, I’d like to grab it with two hands when it’s presented.  Not wait for it to pass me by and bask in the memory of it after it has faded from my presence!” he argues.

“You ask a lot you know!” I denote.

“I have never in my entire life asked a woman to move in with me.  You are the first!” he responds.

“What about your girlfriend?” I ask.

“No, I didn’t live with her!” he explains.  “And I didn’t think of it either.  I liked the situation the way it was at the time.” He says.

“I feel like for years I’ve been a rag that’s been tossed into a wash cycle with nothing else to buffer against... just swishing about in the cycle, drowning and not
being given a chance to hold on to anything.  The cycle has finally ended; and I don’t know if I’m about to get thrown back in and go through the process all over again, or be hung out to dry!” I try and explain.

“Can I make an offer?” he
asks; looking at me dead in my eyes... our naked bodies pressing up against each other for our full length, under the covers.

I nod and shrug.

“I’ll go through whatever you go through, and at least you’ll have someone to hold onto... but I’ll need the offer to be returned in kind.” He says softly.

This was it
; this was the offer of a lifetime.  It’s the offer I had never imagined would ever come my way; the Silas issues, my issues with letting people in, and my issues with wanting to run away!  My anger, my pain and my abandonment issues, he was offering to stand beside me and help me fight my fights.  All he wanted was the same in return.

I couldn’t possibly think that anyone else in this universe
, who I myself would desire in return... would want me so completely.  This
is
that once in a lifetime offer; I’m not keen on wasting time like Sabrina had; the thought of waiting ten years to see if he was still waiting around for me seemed so horrible; I instantly felt the need to claim him and prevent anyone else cashing in on the prize.

“Okay
!” I say with a degree of calm and strength I’m not really feeling.

He does
n’t say anything... anything at all!  He just splits his face in half with a shit-eating grin that makes his dimples cut through his cheeks and his eyes seem sadistically satisfied.  And then he holds me close, like I might float away if he didn’t.

Chapter Eighteen: September

Ben.

Silas and I have been packing their stuff up all week.  We also went up to Armidale and grabbed everything left in storage there; leftovers from a previous life he can’t quite recall much of, and we’re placing almost everything into a new storage unit here in Newcastle, alongside the furniture and items from the house in Hamilton.

Silas has filled his flat downstairs at my house to suit him
, but he knows its temporary, I have informed him we’ll be returning to LA at some stage.

He’s been busy getting together his passport and visa to enter the US.  I’m lucky enough not to have to bother about all of this.  Having dual citizenship is handy!

Jade has been busy this last week, working mornings!

Mum... well this is the conundrum.  I thought this would have her bouncing off the walls!  I was convinced that she’d be so happy that she would be beaming and in far better health
, but it’s like she’s sliding backwards down an incline covered in oil.

She’s happy
, she’s absolutely happy; and at times she just sits there and looks like she’s in a blissful moment of wonderment, when in fact she’s listening to Jade and me arguing; or laughing; or just mucking around with Silas in tow.

She’s surrounded by the three of us now, and the only time she gets to be alone is when we’
ve been in moving mode and shifting Jade and Silas’ stuff.

“Silas, can you grab that edge there?” I ask, referring to the wardrobe that is in the way of the roller door of the storage unit.

“Okay
, I’ve got it!” He informs me.

“Now, shove this motherfucker all the way in
, then we can get the fuck out of here and that will be it!  Over red rover... we’ll be done and ready to go home!” I chant.

“Right
, on three!” Silas demands.  “One, two, three.....” he says, shoving on three alongside me and blowing air through his lips in the process.

“Fuck that’s heavy!” I
breathe hard; slapping my hands on my knees and remaining bent while getting my breath back.

“We probably should’ve counted on that, since it’s full of boxes of kitchen stuff.”
Silas reasons, chuckling at our silliness.

“Ah well... it’s done now, let’s close up so we can get home to Mum!” I chime.

“Sure.” He says, reaching up to pull the roller door down and lock it.

We head to the rental truck and hop in.  I’m driving it back to Charlestown, so we begin to make our way across the greater Newcastle suburbs to the truck rental business.

“It’s funny, but I feel like by closing the door on all that stuff, I’ve just closed the door on my life here in Newy!” Silas states.

“Really?” I ask.

“I’ve never felt like I was home
here anyway... like, never!” he says, looking at his hands, and pulling some imaginary debris from his palms.

Is Armidale home?” I ask him.

No, I guess I don’t have a home, I mean, Jade is kind of like home... but she’s not my home, if you know what I mean... of course, she’s yours!” he says, staring out the window.

“What about Shae?” I ask, pulling up at a set of traffic lights.

“She’s my girl... she’s my heart!  But I mean, I would like to know what it’s like to live somewhere; somewhere important that I would want to defend it in a zombie invasion or something, you know what I mean?” he asks.

“A zombie invasion?” I chuckle.

“Well, yeah... maybe that’s silly!  What I mean is
, I want to find a place that I’d be happy to defend.  Somewhere that I would want to save!  Somewhere I could be determined to fight for and put my life on the line for, somewhere I’d be happy to lay my bones and haunt after I’m gone from this life for all eternity!”  He reasons.

“Silas
, for an 18 year old, you sure think deep and meaningful.” I shake my head in wonderment; and begin to move off with the line of traffic.

“You have no idea!” he says
softly.

“I know what you mean
though, but I can’t tell you where home is either, because I’ve never really had that either.  I know that I’d fight to the death to protect my Mum, and Jade now too!  In fact, I think I might even do that for your sorry excuse for an arse!” I say, lifting the mood a little.

“Thanks man,” he says, smiling. “I’d kill anyone who fucked with my family too.” He says.

“Are you saying you guys are my family?” I question him.

“Jade is... she’s your family
, and she’s my family, so you’re kind of an extension of my family, which in turn makes me your family.  It’s a funny kind of situation, but I hope you realise that you bought into a family when you shifted us in.” He says, looking at me with his scary piercing eyes, which always seem to see through the crap.
