by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

First, the social system that we have today is the entire species of human beings on Earth. If the social system that is
now
were the same one as the one that
then was,
there would be no point in distinguishing it from the one that then was. So what distinguishes these social systems?

For the sake of argument, one could postulate that the social system before the days of Noah was simply different from the social system of today, but this suggestion is weak. The flood of Noah left survivors; the social system that is
now
actually comes from the social system that was before the flood of Noah, so it’s the same social system. Nothing intrinsic has changed about it. We’re all human beings that came from Adam—so the fundamental aspect of our social system has not changed.

Clinching the argument that there is a fundamental difference between today’s social system and the social system Peter was speaking of, however, are the further details expressed in 2 Peter 3:6-7, where Peter elaborates with the reference to “the heavens and the earth, which are now.” One might be able to argue that the social system of Earth has changed since the flood of Noah, though this is a weak argument. But certainly the heavens weren’t changed in the flood of Noah. Noah’s flood only affected Earth. The flood spoken of in 2 Peter 3:6-7, however, affected even the heavens. This is the same flood mentioned in Genesis 1:2, where it speaks of a global catastrophe so severe that included, in addition to a flood completely covering Earth that left no survivors, God’s obscuring all light from shining on Earth. The entire solar system was in utter chaos up until day four of creation, when God restored solar regulation (stabilizing the orbits of all the celestial bodies like planets, moons, and comets), and reestablished cosmic order to mark signs, days, years, and seasons (Genesis 1:14). The heavens that were then, it may therefore be surmised, were obliterated, as would be the case in the event of an explosion of a large planet sending fragments railing throughout the solar system, destroying every trace oflife on all the planets in the entire solar system.

The scriptures of 2 Peter 3:6-7 and Genesis 1:2 harmonize perfectly and reconcile all the discrepancies of elements that speak of a massive flood from antiquity that isn’t the flood of Noah, because it’s a flood that predates the beginning of the account of creation (or restoration of the Earth to a habitable state). Understanding this flood also reconciles Genesis 1:14-18 with Job 38:5-7; the events of day four of creation must be understood as the restoration of solar regulation, because Job 38:5-7 states that the morning stars (Hebrew “kokab”—lit- eral meaning, “stars”) sang together when the foundations of Earth were being laid. (The singing obviously refers to spiritual harmony among the inhabitants of the heavens, and the literal singing of the angels that inhabited the stars.)

Taking all this into account, I consider Peter’s words alluding to the world
that then was
that was destroyed by a flood, to be among those that teach about the flood of Lucifer.

So far I’ve mentioned what Jesus and Peter said about the flood of Lucifer, but the apostles Paul and John spoke of this flood as well.

Like Jesus, Paul speaks of the foundation of the world (overthrow of the social order), referring to a time before Adam (Ephesians 1:4; Hebrews 4:3; 9:26).

There’s no need to go into great depth about Paul’s teaching on this subject, because his teaching is nearly identical to Jesus’s teaching. The same Greek words that Jesus used, Paul uses exactly the same way, referring to a period that predates

Adam and Eve. Briefly put, according to Paul, God’s plan of redemption outlined in Ephesians 1:1-14 (which includes a massive abundance of wonderful blessings), was established before the overthrow of the social order.

As for the apostle John, he too used the same exact phrase “foundation of the world” (overthrow of the social order) in conjunction with a time frame that predates Adam and Eve. Revelation 13:8, 17:8 states that the book of life was prepared since the foundation of the world. Obviously, the book of life was prepared long before the flood of Noah, so the disruption of the social order that John refers to clearly predates Adam and Eve.

when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

The book that I obtained the majority of my research from concerning the flood of Lucifer,
God’s Plan for Man,
goes into far more detail than I have covered here. Finis Dake’s extensive comparative analysis chart comparing the flood of Lucifer with the flood of Noah is an exceptional compilation of facts that is very difficult to refute. In summation, anyone wanting more scriptural support concerning the flood of Lucifer can simply obtain
God’s Plan for Man.
I feel confident that the elements I have extracted from Dake’s research here are sufficient, however, to prove my point that there was, in fact, a flood that destroyed an ancient kingdom on Earth, which was ruled by Lucifer, long before Adam and Eve were ever created.

One last note to point out concerning the flood of Lucifer before I move on: many people of the past have most likely stumbled upon this information before, but willingly disregarded it. This continues to happen today, too, because 2 Peter 3:5-7, which immediately precedes Peter’s statements about the world that then was, states that in the last days, people will be willingly ignorant of this flood.

This leads me to believe that information concerning this flood contains a somewhat weighty degree of importance. Interestingly, the Greek word translated as “ignorant” in 2 Peter 3:5 and 3:8 is “lathano,” which is translated elsewhere as “hid” and “hidden” (Mark 7:24; Luke 8:47; Acts 26:26).

It’s as if Satan has obscured this truth; he doesn’t want the people of Earth to know about the humiliating destruction of his kingdom that occurred so long ago. Concerning this flood, there may also be other things that are hiding, and knowing about this flood will flush them out. Perhaps part of his grand strategy of deception that the Antichrist will present to the world will not be as successful as he intends if more people are knowledgeable concerning these facts.

Imagine open contact with extraterrestrial life from other worlds becoming a reality. Before anyone has any time to react, these beings could possibly introduce themselves by helping us uncover archeological discoveries that prove the existence of a thriving, intelligent, technologically advanced civilization that once populated Earth an extremely long time ago. What better way for them to introduce themselves than to say they’ve been here before, and that we either have descended from them or were genetically engineered by them? There may be physical evidence available, and they might educate us with accurate details about much of Earth’s ancient history, but their interpretation of all they reveal will be a deception. What might the people of Earth make of such evidence? Who could argue against this physical proof?

Could it be that such archeological discoveries have already been made, and we don’t even know what they are yet?

3. Who Were the Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal?

Returning to the previously mentioned fossil record, biologists believe that modern humans evolved from earlier ape-like hominids, dating back to Australopithecus Africanus, some 2.5 million years ago.

According to evolutionary theory, one species evolved into another, until homo sapiens evolved about 250,000 years ago.

Within the homo sapiens classification are Neanderthal
(homo sapiens neanderthalenis
to be more precise), and the more recent Cro-Magnon. Both Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon had a larger brain capacity than the humans of today.

This fact doesn’t fit with most creationist theories,
or
evolution. (Creationists that believe Neanderthal were the same as the humans of today have to explain the difference in cranial capacity, which is a bone structure not likely to be altered through any known natural process if excluding evolution. Evolutionists, on the other hand, must wonder why cranial capacity suddenly changed course, since having a larger cranial capacity was clearly the dominant trait up until this point.) While the Cro-Magnon were almost identical to modern humans, the Neanderthal were shorter, stockier, and had thicker bone density.

Bringing this into a biblical perspective, how does one understand these early homo sapiens from scripture? If Adam and Eve were created only 6000 to 7000 years ago, how could these
humanoids
exist 250,000 years ago?

The typical creationist theory suggests that the results of carbon dating have been dramatically skewed because of the flood of Noah.

Furthermore, modern human fossils are found all over the globe that are carbon dated to millions of years old. One example is a modern human arm fragment that was found in Kenya that was carbon dated to 4.5 million years old.

How could modern humans evolve from the ape-like creature Australopithecus Africanus if they predate them?

While these arguments raise doubts as to the current theory of evolution and the credibility of carbon dating, they still don’t explain everything. The Kenya finding (as well as many others I haven’t mentioned), might make it possible to prove that Australopithecus Africanus isn’t a common ancestor to modern humans, but it still doesn’t explain the existence of humans that are not descended from Adam and Eve. If human extraterrestrials reveal themselves in the future, Christians will be forced to conclude that not all humanoid-type species are descended from Adam and Eve. This will put them back to square one with most of their theories about pre-Adamites (namely, the predominant theory that they didn’t exist). In light of this, let’s assume for a moment that Neanderthal, Cro-Magnon, and earlier hominids, such as homo erectus and homo habilis, existed before Adam and Eve. Might these pre-Adamite humanoids be members of Lucifer’s ancient kingdom of the past? Furthermore, if they were part of Lucifer’s kingdom, were they truly human, or were they something else?
