Thaddeus!” My head jerked back suddenly.

“Angelique Dupree. I should’ve
known I’d run into you in a place like this.”

He put his other solid hand on my waist and pulled me in for a snug hug. I could smell his scent, which was a simmering mixture of Dove soap and a light touch of Clive Christian No.1. That high dollar smell instantly teleported me back to a year ago when I was bent over on a pool table letting him put his thick stick in my corner pocket.

“Uh,
excuse me, but what do you mean a place like this? I happen to own this place and I think it’s very classy and spicy.” I faked offense.

I playfully poked his chest
on purpose, yep, just as hard as I remembered. He gently pulled me toward the outdoor smoking patio which was good because at that moment I could use a cigarette.

“It’s kind of
hard to hear you over the music and I don’t wanna shout in your ear. Let’s go out to the patio for a sec.” He waved his hand in that direction.

“Okay. Jus’ let me grab my pa
ck of cigarettes from my office, since you can clearly see that I don’t have any pockets on this lil’ number.” I shrugged my bare shoulders.

He nodded his head.
“Oh, I saw that from across the dark room. Get one for me, a’ight?”

“Sure. I’ll meet you out there.” I sashayed away
as he read my ass cheeks like a road sign.

Once I was in the seclusion of my private office I looked at myself in the full length mirror. I checked to see if I had any crust in my eyes, readjusted my titties in my flashy bra, pulled my shorts up a few more centimeters and reapplied my fire engine red lip stick. I spotted my cancer sticks and lighter on my desk next to my lamp. I sighed to myself suddenly. Nicotine was cool, but I needed a little something stronger at that point. My eyes darted to the top drawer of my chocolate colored desk. I locked the door to my office and sat down at my desk like a student preparing to take a test. Opening the drawer quickly, I stuck my hand in the back and fingered the tiny zip lock bag. It was the kind of baggie kids took their snacks in for school, but that bag held adult candy that resembled sugar. I wiped the top of the desk off with the palm of my hand and dumped a tiny mound in the clear space. I divided the amount into two thick powdery lines. Once again I went fishing in my drawer to get another tool. My trusty short green and white striped straw was in my hand and up to my nose in seconds. With one nostril closed tight with my free finger, I inhaled both lines one after the other and returned my supplies to their hiding spot.

I walked around my large desk sniffing really hard to get all the coke in the right place and again I looked at myself in the mirror. I checked for any white residue in my nose and smoothed my silky hair back in place. I did a little pose with my hand on my hip and blew myself a kiss. Two bumps were just what I needed to take the edge off the unexpected situation. I grabbed my cigs and lighter and left the office with an even more confident stride than I had before. Sure it had been about three minutes too long since I told him to wait on the patio, but so what, a man would wait for something, or somebody that’s worth it.

Damn I
looked good and so did Thaddeus, I thought to myself as I stepped onto the patio.

“I was about to send out a search party.” He flashed a sexy smile as he pulled out a chair for me.

“I had to handle a few things
, so it took me a lil’ longer than I thought. Here you go.” I gave him a clove cigarette and took a seat.

“What kind of cigarettes are these?” He inspected it closely.

“Oh, they’re cloves, you never had one before?”

“No
, I haven’t. Since when did you start smoking these? When we were talkin’ you barely smoked regular cigarettes.”

“Umm
, somebody introduced me to them and since then I’ve been hooked. They’re really smooth and go good with a buzz.” My mind flashed to Tyce’s handsome face.

Suddenly I felt a sense of guilt. I wasn’t doing anything wrong…right? I was just having a conversation and a cigarette with an old friend…right? Granted an old friend I had an affair with behind Biz’s back for two years, but that was ancient history. The guilt was inching up my spine, but then the cocaine began to kick in and the unwanted emotion took a detour to no man’s land.

“So Thad, what brings you here?” I lit
up my cigarette. “Or should I say who brings you here?”

Thaddeus extended his hand to receive
the lighter from me. He lit his as well and tasted the flavorful smoke for the first time.

“Hmm,
these are good, very smooth.” He exhaled the rich smoke.

“Told ya.” I winked
at him. “But back to my question.” I crossed my shiny legs in front of his gaze.

He cleared his throat. “I came alone. A friend of mine told me about this club a few months back and I promised myself when I came off tour I would check it out. She told me th
at the clientele was discreet and that you cater to people who want to keep a low profile. I was just poppin’ in for fun.”

“Well you heard right. I could tell you what celebrities frequent my club
, but then I wouldn’t be being discreet. Your nasty lil’ secret is safe with me baby.”

“Good. I may not be big yet
, but my stock is on the rise and what I do on my own time is my business.” He changed the subject to a more personal level. “So after you left me broken hearted without notice, what have you been up to?”

“Excuse me. I left you broken hearted? Please, you had plenty of women to keep you occupied.”
He rubbed his dark brown bald head. “Come on now Angelique, all the women in the world can’t compare to one good one.”

I took another drag of m
y cigarette as I felt the familiar drip of the coke sliding down the back of my throat.

“This is true, b
ut I had to leave you alone. Biz was starting to catch on and at the time I was afraid of what he would do to me and you if he ever caught us. In my mind I was protecting the both of us. Believe me, it was one of the hardest things I had to do, but at the time it was the best decision.”

Th
addeus stroked his smooth cheek. “I knew what I was getting into when I met you. You were upfront with your situation. I wasn’t afraid of Biz, shit I still ain’t.” He stared at me.

I flicked
ashes on the wood floor. “Well you don’t have to sweat him anymore.”

“Why? Ya
’ll not together now?”

“He’s dead.” I said bluntly.

His brown eyes widened with surprise. “Damn. He wasn’t that old was he?”

“Naw
, he was murdered.”

“By who?” His forehead wrinkled up.

I paused to word my answer right. “Let’s jus’ say that there was someone else that didn’t like him.”

He sighed deeply. “W
ell I guess you reap what you sow. I can’t say that I’m saddened. He didn’t mean shit to me. The world
and
you are better off without him. Shit, I wanna thank the person who ended his miserable life and did the planet a favor.”

Shit! There goes Tyce’s face again in my fucking head! I should have done five lines instead of two. Even before Thaddeus popped up, I didn’t want to think about my relationship problems. The past few weeks had been seriously stressful and I needed a break from my reality. Why did it seem like temptation always crept up when you’re having a vulnerable moment?

“Are you cold
? I mean you’re barely wearing anything and you’re sniffing a little. We can go inside if you want.” He inhaled his cigarette once again.

Damn, I didn’t notice
that I was sniffing. I wasn’t cold. It was the coke induced nasal drip he was noticing. I needed to take control of the conversation.

“No
, I’m not cold. It actually feels good out here. So how long are you in town?”

“I jus’ got back from Tokyo and before that I w
as on a down south tour. I’m gonna take like six months off to recharge my batteries and rest my voice.”

“That’s good. I’m glad you’re doin’ well. I downloaded you
r latest single and I must give you props. It’s a banger.”

He licked his lips. “I have to confess I was thinkin’ of you when I wrote that song. That’s why I called it Lonely Boy.”

Okay now my clit was awake. I hadn’t had sex in over four weeks and my pussy was not in the mood to be teased, especially not with a drug that supersized my sex drive.

“I love that song.
” I rubbed the smooth fabric of his gray slacks.

He placed his hand on top of mine. “And I never

stopped lovin’ you.” He brought my hand to his thick lips and kissed it gently.

Grab his face girl! Go
ahead, snatch his chin up and knock his teeth out with your tongue! Do it! Do it! My body was screaming at me. I attempted to avoid his intense stare by looking to my right. However, that was a mistake because I saw a woman sitting in a chair with her man standing between her open legs while she sucked his big pink dick. My vantage point gave me a perfect side view of the action. I watched her jealously as she slurped his stiff dick like a melting popsicle at a summer barbeque.

“Do you see them?” I whispered.

He chuckled softly, “Yeah, I guess they came to party. Speakin’ of partying…do you like to party?” He raised his eyebrows.

I narrowed
my eyes. “What do you mean? I own a sex club, so that answers that question.”

“I’m not talking about that kind of party.” He touched his nose.

Now I finally caught on. Shit, little did he know, but I had already started the party.

“I don’t mind goin’ to the powder room a time or two.” I returned his smile.

He patted the pocket of his white dress shirt.

Good, cuz I got some blow from Atlanta that will make you do a two-step.”

He couldn’t
have been more on time with that shit. I was already struggling with the one on one conversation. Doing more coke would put me right where I needed to be and that was in care free city.

“Well Thad
deus, follow me to my office so we can start dancin’.”

We mashed the cigarette butts in the ashtray. I grabbed his big paw and led his six foot two frame through the patio door. As we weaved our way in and out of the sea of scantily-clad people, I felt his fingers graze my ass ever so tenderly. Instead of creating distance between his hand and my bumper, I slowed down a little, hoping he would crash right into it and give me whiplash.

It took forever to get to my office. Along the way I had to check with security about the parking lot, answer a dozen of Trina’s questions and hug several of my regulars. Thaddeus was still right behind me the whole time. Once the two of us were finally inside my office, I allowed myself to really check him out. I watched his long, strong arm as he reached inside his top pocket and pulled a baggie out that contained the white dust. The dim light of the small room made his hairless, shiny head glow softly. His skin was the color of root beer with a golden undertone. He looked every bit the R & B singer he was and even sexier than I remembered him being. I took in all of his maleness as he separated the small snowy mound into six even lines on the top of my desk. There were three for him and three for me to start with.

“Ladies first.”
He gave me a tightly rolled up hundred dollar bill.

“Why thank you. You’
re such a gentleman.” I bent over the desk.

“Always.” He stood to the side a little to give me some room.

Just like before, I closed one nostril tight and snorted a line in the open one. I did all three, but I had to switch nostrils mid-way to spread it out evenly.

“Watching you do that made my dick
hard.” He rubbed his flat stomach.

I looked puzzled as I stood up.
“The strangest things make men hard. I never understood that.”

“I can’t explain it either. You jus’ look so fuckin’ sexy right now.”

I handed him the hundred dollar bill straw.

“You’re pretty sexy your damn self. Your turn.”

He did his lines with the same ease that I did mine. It was obvious that neither of us was a stranger to that scene. We stared at each other for several seconds.

He licked his lips, I licked my lips.

He sniffed, I sniffed.

I swallowed, he swallowed.

I walked toward him and
he stepped toward me.

“Can I kiss you?” He looked down into my eyes.

“I thought you’d never ask.” I looked up.

My brain screamed, “What the fuck are you doin’?!”
Inside my soul I was yelling, “Bitch, stop fuckin’ kissin’ him!” I reasoned that it must’ve been the drug that made me continue to give him a tongue lashing. The trip thing was that I wasn’t sure which one was the drug; the coke or Thaddeus? Regardless, they both had me feeling good as hell.
