“Don’t—”

The boy tugged on Gary’s arm. “Is this that cripple you took care of for a while, Gare? The poor thing.” The fake look of pity infuriated Kade, but he bit his tongue, not wanting to make things worse.

“Yeah, Rain,” Gary said, wrapping one arm tighter around Rain, “he is.” He turned his attention back to Kade and asked, “So, who are you here with? Can’t be a man, not a real one anyway.”

“Kade, sweetie?” Katie called as she turned the corner. “I think I found you the per— Get your filthy hands off his chair, you psycho!” she yelled as she charged down the aisle toward them.

Gary stepped back but didn’t leave. “Oh look, it’s the fag hag. Don’t you have anything else to do than follow
him
around?”

“Gary!” Kade ground out. “Leave Katie alone. Take your toy and go.”

“I’m not a toy, but then you’re not a man, so you wouldn’t know any better!” Rain held up his hand to show Kade the ring on his finger. “I’m his partner and the only one
man
enough to please him.”

Kade swallowed the bile that rose in his throat. It looked just like the ring Gary had given him when they were dating and he’d claimed to love and want Kade for forever. “Just go away,” he groaned, wanting to be anywhere but here. Actually he wanted to be wrapped in Deacon’s arms right then but knew he wouldn’t see him again until the next day.

“Excuse me, is there a problem?” asked a petite, white-blonde-haired woman. She was older, maybe early to midfifties, striking in how she held herself. She reminded Kade of the glamorous women in old movies, though he hoped her presence would be enough to chase Gary away.

“No, no problem.” Gary turned and led Rain away, though he heard Gary continue to make snide comments as they left the store.

“I am so sorry, ma’am,” Katie said to the woman before squatting beside Kade. “Sweets, are you okay?”

Tearing his eyes away from where Gary had just been, Kade looked at Katie and nodded. “I… I will be.”

Katie stood and handed Kade a bottle of wine. “This is what I was bringing to show you. I thought a white burgundy would work well for your dinner date.” She looked at the woman still hovering. “What do you think?”

“The Michel Bouzereauet et Fils Bourgogne Blanc is a lovely wine depending on what you are pairing it with.”

“Chicken cheese Kiev.”

“Then yes, I have to say it has a nice richness but also a racy acidity that should pair quite nicely with your dish. My name is Anna, by the way, and I have to apologize for how you were treated.” Anna’s words were polite but held an undertone of worry as she glanced between Katie and him.

Kade squared his shoulders and looked up at Anna. “His behavior is not your fault. And thank you, both of you, for helping with the wine.” Hoping they would let go of the incident, he continued, “I think I would like two bottles, please.” He handed Anna the bottle and smiled.

“Very well, sir.”

The word “sir” pulled at Kade’s heart, making him wish for Deacon and the way he always made Kade feel safe and wanted.
Tomorrow
, he reminded himself.

A few minutes later they were back outside, his purchases secured in his bag. He had planned to take Katie out to dinner and hang out some, but all he felt like doing was going home. Well, or go to Deacon’s, but that wasn’t an option, so home. She tried to argue with him, but he was tired and didn’t think he could keep up a decent conversation with anyone, not even his best friend.

When he finally made it home, he put up the wine, then grabbed a light meal before spending some time thoroughly cleaning up, and then going to bed early. He hoped the rest of his weekend would be better. He really hoped Deacon would never see him, or speak to him, like Gary had. Kade didn’t think he could handle Deacon turning on him like that.

It took forever to get comfortable and slip off to dreams, but eventually he managed. Unfortunately for Kade, Gray and his hurtful words plagued his dreams, waking him more than once.

T
HE
NEXT
day found Kade at Deacon’s again, but Deacon could not help but notice that his boy couldn’t seem to get comfortable. He didn’t think it was physical, though, not with how desperate Kade seemed for touch. When it became apparent Kade was not going to share what the problem was without him pushing, Deacon decided to take the matter into his own hands.

They were sitting on the couch, Kade cuddled into Deacon’s side. “Something happen this week, boy?”

“In what way?” Kade hedged. The crack in his voice was more than enough proof in Deacon’s opinion to get him to talk.

“I’m not sure, honestly.” Deacon turned, pulling Kade into his lap gently. “I talked to you yesterday afternoon, and you were excited to come over and looking forward to seeing Jake and Sam again. Now, however, you’re all antsy, and it’s as if we’re back to you being ready to bolt at any given moment. Want to tell me what changed?”

“I…. It’s nothing, Sir,” Kade mumbled toward his chest.

Deacon caught Kade’s chin in one hand and lifted until their eyes met. “It obviously is, and I don’t like not knowing when something upsets you.”

“I—Sorry?”

“What happened, Kaden?”

“Katie and I went to get the wine, and I ran into my ex and his new toy. It’s not important, really.”

Deacon disagreed, but instead of fighting with Kade, who obviously was not ready to share more, he changed tactics. “Come on, then,” he said, shifting Kade back onto the couch so he could stand. “You need to center on what’s important.” He set about moving Kade’s chair and then Kade upstairs, giving serious consideration to Kade’s mobility issues as he did so, to how to make the house more chair-friendly. When he set Kade in his chair, he took a step back. “Inside, naked, and in the middle of the room, boy. Now.”

Kade moved quickly into the playroom, not asking any
questions. Deacon watched as Kade carefully stripped and resettled in his chair, moving into the center of the room and into the modified presentation position he had adopted since their first night together. Once Kade was ready, Deacon entered, making sure Kade could hear him as he moved.

“Sensory deprivation is one of the things I believe you like, and I’ve seen you eye the sling more than once, so we’re going to combine the two today.” Deacon slowly circled Kade as he spoke, lowering his voice to make Kade have to focus to hear him. He paid special attention to how Kade tightened his hold on his arms when the sling was mentioned.

Smiling to himself at how Kade reacted, he walked over to where the sling was hung. It was actually a new one, not the one Kade had first seen. This one was designed to be comfortable for extended suspension more so than the old one. Right then he was thrilled to have it. Once he had it set how he wanted, he stripped down to only his slacks. He hated playing with too much on. It was hot and at times the clothes got in his way.

“I’m going to blindfold and gag you before lifting you into the sling. I will then give you a small ball with a bell inside to use in lieu of your safe words. I will also use foam earplugs to muffle sounds.” Deacon stepped over to Kade and ran his fingers through Kade’s short hair over and over, hoping to soothe his boy. “It won’t deprive you of all sound but enough to serve my wishes.” At Kade’s shiver, Deacon smiled but continued to pet. “Even though you will not be able to speak, I want your safe words again.”

“Lemon and cinnamon,” Kade answered immediately. “Thank you, Sir.”

“Mmm…. Keep your arms as they are but lean forward a little.” Deacon picked up the length of bright blue silk rope he had already pulled out, and uncoiled it. He looped the rope around Kade’s forearms in a crisscross pattern, working quickly to bind his arms behind him. When done, Deacon tied the matching blue silk blindfold around Kade’s eyes. He then picked up the ball gag, also with a blue ball, and carefully fastened its strap around Kade’s head after slipping the ball into his mouth.

“Since you cannot talk now, I want you to hold this,” Deacon explained as he pressed the small belled ball into one of Kade’s hands. “If you drop it, I will stop immediately. I will ask you what’s wrong, and if it’s fixable, we will continue. If it is not, we will stop and move to the bed. I do not want you hurt. Understood?”

Kade nodded, a soft groan slipping out around the gag.

“Concentrate on your breathing if you get scared, but know that even if I am not touching you, I will not leave you alone. You need out of your head and away from your fears, boy. This is something I think will help you and I know will please me.”

Deacon carefully lifted Kade out of his chair and stepped over to where the swing hung. It took him a moment to lay Kade how he wanted—face down—but he managed without hurting Kade. Keeping one hand on Kade, Deacon reached for the next piece of rope. He then began the intricate ropework around Kade’s legs and feet, before attaching them to the harness. Deacon had worried about binding Kade’s legs initially, but after discussing things with Kade and doing some research, he’d found various beautiful ways to bind them that wouldn’t cause injury if they were to spasm—though Kade denied that usually happened. In a short time, Deacon stepped back and admired how Kade looked laid out and bound up for him. He adjusted his hard cock in his slacks before continuing.

“Now, I’m going to put in the foam plugs. Remember, even if you cannot hear me, I will not leave you alone.” Deacon then pulled out two short, stubby pieces of foam and rolled them between his fingers, compressing them, then placed them in Kade’s ears. They were the same kind you could buy at any pharmacy and that swimmers bought in bulk, but they were cheap, disposable, and didn’t hurt.

He ran his hands lightly over Kade’s suspended, immobile body. A touch here, a stroke there, making sure his boy knew he wasn’t alone and that he was safe. When the tension drained out of Kade, he lifted the last piece in his little stack on the stand nearby, a simple chain with clamps on the end. Deacon returned to petting and teasing Kade. Eventually he zeroed in on Kade’s nipples, pinching and twisting them until they were both hard little nubs standing out from Kade’s body. A moment later he had the clamps in place, and Kade moaned loudly around his gag.

Oh yes, this should work nicely.
Deacon concentrated on teasing Kade, as he taught him to relax and let go under in his care. Deacon hadn’t taken Kade’s cage off, so he touched the trapped cock between the bars, pinched his sac lightly, rubbed his hands up and down Kade’s back where his arms weren’t blocking direct skin contact.

He walked around Kade, continuing the teasing and torture, sometimes touching Kade on the opposite side from where Deacon stood. Each touch was met with a moan or a shiver, the pinches garnered louder groans and whimpers. With each one, Kade seemed to relax more into the sling, losing himself in the sensations alone.

Kade’s cock strained against the silver cage made of a series of rings that kept his cock bent in a flaccid position, but Deacon wasn’t quite ready to release him yet. Instead, he continued his random touches and pinches, adding the occasional spank to Kade’s delicious ass. When Kade’s sounds were nonstop, and he twitched and writhed as much as possible in the restraints, it was time to move things along.

Kneeling, Deacon took out the key to Kade’s cage and released him. Pleased when Kade’s cock immediately filled and began leaking, he enjoyed the gasp Kade made, and took a moment to admire the faint lines from when Kade had strained against the confines of the cage. The moans grew in volume as Deacon tugged on the clips—not enough to pull them off, but just enough to give him a little extra bite. The steady stream of precome increased, as did the sounds.

One more thing….
Deacon grabbed a small weight from his cabinet, returning quickly and attaching it to the chain connecting the clamps. A push started the sling swinging gently. The more it moved, the louder and more insistent Kade’s moans became.

Deacon teased Kade’s dick, tugged on Kade’s sac, and watched as his boy thrashed, more and more needy sounds leaking out around the ball in his mouth.
Finally ready!

Wrapping one hand around Kade’s near-purple cock, the other grasping the chain, Deacon pulled the chain hard, snapping the clamps off Kade’s abused nipples as he stroked him hard. “Come!” he roared, hoping Kade was focused enough to hear. He knew there was a chance Kade would come with or without his command, but he wanted his boy conditioned so he always responded to voice command.

Kade convulsed in the sling as his cock erupted, shooting steam after stream of thick viscous fluid over Deacon’s hand and onto the floor. The sounds coming from Kade didn’t even sound human, but each moan, whimper, and twitch made Deacon harder. Unable to restrain himself any longer, he dropped the clamps and unzipped his pants, freeing his needy cock. It only took him a couple of strokes, and his come shot and mixed with Kade’s. He didn’t stop stroking and milking Kade’s cock until he went limp all over.

Minutes later, Deacon managed to focus enough to release Kade from the gag. He cleaned him up as gently and quickly as he could, then lifted Kade’s head, nuzzling Kade’s lips with his. After a long, sweet kiss, Deacon stepped back and set about removing the blindfold and earplugs as well.

“You did beautifully, boy. You make me so happy like this,” he praised, knowing Kade needed to hear it as much as he needed to say it.

“Thank you, Sir,” Kade murmured, his voice soft and dreamy, his eyes not opening as he lay in the swing, seemingly boneless for once.

“You’re welcome, boy.”

Deacon rubbed Kade’s arms and legs as he released each one, then moved Kade to the bed. Once Kade was stretched out, he continued to praise and pet Kade as he massaged his muscles, making sure to care for his boy’s physical needs as much as his emotional. The entire time Kade was compliant. The only sounds coming from him were soft sighs.

Not wanting to pull Kade out of his headspace yet, Deacon turned Kade onto his side and spooned with him, touching and caressing Kade as he floated. He knew they still needed to talk, but for now Kade was happy and so was he.
