The murder probe starts to unravel her mysterious past---the only way for Kelly to salvage her new life is to delve into the painful history she ran from, allowing Garrick to piece together the ugly puzzle of Kelly’s former life she was attempting to hide.

A suspenseful romance novel. An engaging story about a dark and painful past that leads to wounded hearts discovering the courage to survive devastating odds while learning to trust and love from the heart. The author's insight into the essence of each character's portrayal gave such a depth of quality to the movement of the story. The descriptions of the locales provided a sense of actually being present in those moments. I am looking forward to reading her future books.
