«Holiwell»: en inglés, las palabras «Hollinwall» y «Holi-well» suenan de manera muy similar, sobre todo si se pronuncian deprisa. «Hollinwall» viene de «Hole in the wall», mientras «Holiwell» deriva de «Holy well», es decir «Pozo sagrado». De ahí que el personaje haga referencia a un pozo.
