ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

AS ALWAYS, THERE ARE many people to thank whenever a book goes out into the world. I’m so grateful to all of you, my readers, who have embraced the HOT world and asked me for more stories. I love writing military heroes and you’ve given me a reason to continue!

Once again, my husband Mike, an Air Force veteran and all around great guy, was invaluable with his encouragement and advice and military knowledge. Any mistakes are mine alone. One of the reasons I chose to create my own Special Operations team was so I could do whatever I wanted with them.

Thanks as always to Alicia Hunter Pace, aka Jean Hovey and Stephanie Jones, who have been there for many brainstorming sessions and tossed out some very valuable ideas. I think we’ve got HOT covered for a few more books now.

Without my fab editor Robin Harders, who knows where this story would be? Robin is responsible for telling it like it is when I try to cut corners. She makes me dig deeper and work harder and tries to gently point out my bad habits. I grumble and gripe, but I roll up my sleeves and do the work.

Anne and Sara at Victory Editing are amazing and I couldn’t live without them! They make sure words are correctly used, punctuated, and make sense in context. (And if you find mistakes in this letter, it’s because I didn’t pass it through them first!)

I also have to thank Amy Atwell at Author E.M.S., who does the formatting of my books so that I can continue to write new stories. And Frauke Spanuth at Croco Designs has once more created the perfect cover. She also maintains my website, which is fortunate for me because it’s always beautiful and frequently updated.

Finally, I want to thank the authors who’ve been so generous with sharing their knowledge as I embark on this indie journey. Courtney Milan, Marie Force, Melody Anne, Kathleen Brooks, Liliana Hart, Ruth Cardello, Sandra Marton – and so many more that to list them all would take pages!

Once more, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy my HOT military guys!

WHAT’S NEXT?

More HOT guys, of course! If
Hot Mess
is your first taste of the HOT world,
check out Book 1 in the Hostile Operations Team series,
Hot Pursuit.
Coming in November, watch for a HOT Christmas novella titled
Hot Package
! Sometime in the spring of 2014, look for
Dangerously Hot,
which is Book 2 in the HOT series. If you’re counting, that’s
four
stories (2 novels, 2 novellas) set in the HOT world that will be available within the next few months! Yippee!
