“Aw, and here I was thinking bikers were pricks.”

Both men flash me panty-melting grins.

“Oh we are, precious,” Spike says. “Don’t you doubt it.”

I smile and turn to Reign, who is giving me one hell of a ‘let’s fuck’ look. Wow. Seriously, the man is so damned good looking. Maybe not in the biker way, but in the dominant-businessman kind of way.

“I’ll wait outside.”

Jackson stands, reaching over the bar and shaking Reign’s hand. “We’re done here. I’ll send two boys in tomorrow. We got ourselves a deal?”

Reign nods, shaking his hand. “Yeah.”

“Later, winglady.” Spike grins as he passes me.

“Oh, later all right.”

When they’re gone, I turn to Reign. “You seriously hired bikers to do your security?”

He leans back in his chair. “Those bikers are fucking good at what they do. They’re tough and they know what they’re doing. I’ve known Jackson for a long time. I trust him and his club.”

“But, aren’t they, like . . . criminals?”

“They’re running my club security.” He smirks. “Not growing drugs.”

I wiggle my finger at him. “That you know of.”

“Trust me, they’re worth the price I paid for them.”

“I bet. I’ll be sure to make sure the majority of our wingman activities are held here.”

“They’ve all got old ladies,” he points out. “Sorry, babe.”

“Talk about killing my buzz,” I mutter, dropping my ass onto Reign’s desk. “So, give me tonight’s rundown. What do you want?”

“Get me a crazy one,” he says, leaning back in his chair. “I need a hard fuck.”

I grin. “Oh, I’ll get you a crazy one. Don’t you worry about that.”

He glares at me. “Make her a normal, yet crazy one. Don’t get me a fucking psycho like you did last time.”

“Picky, picky.” I laugh.

Last week I picked up for Reign, but the girl was . . . errr . . . slightly unstable. Apparently she not only wanted Reign to beat her during sex, but she wanted him to do it in front of her friends.
Twisted sister.

“Make her normal,” he orders.

I give him a sardonic look. “Oh, I will.”

I turn and head towards the door, and then I spin back. “How much damage was done to the club?”

His eyes grow angry. “Enough. I lost thousands of dollars worth of alcohol, plus they busted the back cellar open.”

I frown. “Shit.”

“Quit talking and find me a good lay. I got shit to do.”

“A
thank you
would be nice,” I say, taking the door handle.

“I don’t need to thank you, I fuckin’ pay you. Do as you’re told.”

“I’m not your dog, Reign.”

He gives me a hard expression. “Do I need to hire someone else, or are you going to stop talking and go and do your fuckin’ job?”

Oh, well excuse
me.

I walk out without another word, I won’t get him a crazy one, but I’ll sure as shit make sure he pays for his snarky attitude tonight.
Asshole.

I step out into the crowd with a massive grin on my face. “Ladies, hey ladies!” I scream.

About thirty women turn towards me. “You all know Reign Braxton, right?”

A good amount of them cheer. Who doesn’t know Reign Braxton?

“Well, I’m pleased to let you know that he’s looking for some extra special lovin’ tonight. So much so that he’s offering five hundred dollars to the lady that makes him moan. You better be quick. Only one lucky lady will get all that man meat.” I turn and point to his door as Benny opens the small door leading out the back with a laugh. “Go and get him, ladies.”

About twenty women rush past Benny down the halls.

With a grin, and a sassy flick of my hair, I leave the club.

That’ll teach him.

R
: I’m going to fucking kill you.

I laugh.

Maybe next time he will be more thankful. I mean, without me he wouldn’t get laid so easily. Okay, that’s kind of a lie on my behalf; he’d probably get laid without even blinking. Damn him and his wicked perfection.

R: Seriously, I’m going to fucking kill you.

I quickly text him back.

T: All I wanted was a thank you. Such a sad story.

R: Fucking. Dead.

T: Aw, poor Reign.

R: Run, babe. You’re going to pay for that.

I have no doubt I will.

I get home and pay the cab driver before climbing out and heading inside. I flick all the lights on and admire my little piece of perfection. It might not be huge, but it’s mine and I’m proud of that. I kick my shoes off and drop my purse on the counter, then I plod over to the fridge, hungry. I stare into the mostly empty space for a while, and then with a sigh I swing the door shut.

I’ll order a pizza.

I lift my phone and dial the nearest pizza place, making my order. The young man on the other end of the line assures me the pizza won’t be long, before hanging up. I walk over to my couch and flop down with a long, drawn-out sigh. I do feel kind of sorry for Reign. He would have been bombarded with all those women, not to mention he likely had to cough up $500.

Oopsie.

Fifteen minutes later, a knock sounds at my door.
Finally, my pizza
. I rush over and swing it open only to face Reign, holding a pizza box. Dammit. His face is telling me he’s
not happy,
and his body is stiff and tight. He thrusts the pizza box at me and takes a step forward, causing me to take a step back.

“Since when did you become a pizza boy?” I joke.

He glares at me and I give him a guilty expression.

“Twenty fuckin’ women,” he growls, walking inside further. “Twenty of them throwing themselves all over me, trying to rip my fuckin’ clothes off and begging for not only my cock, but five hundred fucking dollars.”

I bite my lip to stop myself from laughing.

Reign steps towards me. “Oh, you think that’s funny, do you?”

I burst out into a fit of giggles, dropping the pizza box on my coffee table. “Well, that’ll teach you for treating your employee so badly.”

He steps forward, dropping his shoulder into my belly and launching me up into the air, squealing. He takes two big strides and reaches the couch, where he drops me down and pins me with his hands to my shoulders. “I ought to take you over my fuckin’ knee and spank your ass for such bad behavior.”

I laugh harder.

“Try it, asshole,” I say between giggles.

With a wicked grin, he flips me over effortlessly. I squeal and shove forward, laughing so hard I’m crying. Reign’s hand comes down over my ass and I let off a high-pitched scream. He whacks me again before flipping me back over and leaning down close, so we’re nearly nose-to-nose. “Try that again, and I’ll bare your ass the next time my hand is on it.”

I laugh as he stands up, running a hand through his ruffled hair.

“So, I guess that means you didn’t get laid?”

He shoots me poisonous look that has me biting my lip again.

“I asked you for crazy, not a fucking group of crazy. I didn’t get laid, so you owe me. Starting with that pizza . . .”

I sit up, still unable to wipe the smile from my face. “All right, I’ll make it up to you. I swear.”

His eyes sparkle with humor. “Damn right you will.”

“Not with sex,” I point out, flipping open the pizza box and taking out a slice.

“Don’t you think that’s my choice?” he deadpans.

My mouth drops open. “You’re not serious? I am not letting you put that,” I point to his crotch, “
thing
near me. It’s probably rotting with diseases.”

He grunts. “I always use protection. Don’t insult me.”

I take a bite of my pizza, chewing it and then saying, “So, I guess I have double the work to do tomorrow night?”

“Stop talking with your mouth full. God, do you have any manners?”

I stretch my leg out and kick his shin.

“Ow, fuck,” he barks, shooting daggers at me.

“Don’t insult me in my house, jackass.”

“Then don’t piss me off.”

I curl my lip with sarcasm. “Oh
waa waa
, have a cry about it already and then move the fuck on.”

His lips quirk. “It doesn’t surprise me that you’re single.”

My eyes widen and I scowl at him. “I get plenty of dick, thank you very much.”

“That’s a lie.”

Dang it, he’s right.

“Well, I would if I wasn’t doing your dirty work because you’re too lazy.”

He leans back, taking a bite of his pizza. “You like your job, admit it.”

“Don’t talk with your mouth full, don’t you have any manners,” I throw at him.

He grins at me.

Damn.

“I learned from the best.”

I laugh.

So he did.

CHAPTER THREE

Someone kicks the side of my bed. I groan and roll, taking the covers with me. Why do people always insist on waking me up when I’m having a good sleep? What ever happened to privacy? Sheesh.

“Get up.”

Reign
. Jesus. The man doesn’t sleep.

“Go away, Reign,” I huff.

“It’s fucking
four pm
, what the hell are you doin’ still in bed?”

“It’s the weekend,” I say, my voice muffled from the pillow my face is pressed against.

“Yeah, which means I need you.”

I throw the covers back and roll, glaring up at him. Shit he looks good, all casual and rugged. “Can’t you just go and get yourself laid for once?”

He raises his brows at me. “I need someone to come with me to the opening of one of my new clubs tonight.”

I roll my eyes and groan loudly. “Boooo!”

He leans down, taking the covers and pulling them back. I’m only wearing a bra and panties. “Hey,” I protest, reaching for the sheet.

“Nice panties, is that
Hello Kitty
?”

“Listen here, jerk off,” I say, waggling my finger at him. “You can insult me, but don’t you go near
Hello Kitty
...got me?”

He shakes his head. “You really need to get yourself a man.”

“Who would appreciate my
Hello Kitty
panties,” I point out, rolling and forcing myself up.

“After he burns them,” he mutters. “Now get up.”

“Eat me, Reign,” I grumble, standing. “I’m tired.”

“You slept all fuckin’ day.”

“Shut your pie hole, your voice is too loud,” I complain, trudging past him towards the shower.

“You’ve got an hour, I’m making coffee,” he yells out after me.

I wave my hand. “Yeah yeah.”

R
eign’s clubs are striking, that much I’ll give him. He always has them done up with the most modern, funky decorations and furniture, making them a real delight to be in. This particular one is extremely stylish, more for the upper class. It’s all red and black décor, shiny wooden floors and a bar with glass counter tops that drinks just slide along.

I stand at the back of it, martini in hand, watching as Reign does his speeches. Women gush over him and I see a group of them slinking up to the front of the small stage designed for bands. I want to gag; seriously, I hope I never become so desperate. When Reign finishes up with his speech, he thanks everyone and then exits the stage, his eyes scanning the crowd until he finds me.

I’m slightly under the weather, and so is he. I can tell by the glassiness in his eyes when he stops in front of me, looking damned magnificent in that black suit. His hair is falling lazily over his forehead, and his eyes are all sparkly and gorgeous. He stares down at my black dress for a minute, and then looks back up to me.

“Ready to get me some action?”

“Hi to you, too,” I smile sweetly.

He puts a hand on my shoulder and directs me towards a large booth. We sit down and I scoot closer to him.

“So go on, tell me what you’re looking for.”

He shrugs. “You owe me for your last attempt, so make it a good one.”

I stare around the room, spotting a redhead at the bar, giving Reign a sexy smile. “She’s good,” I say, nodding at her.

Reign glances over and provides her with a wink, which is absolutely perfect and easy for me to be able to put on a show. I turn to him and growl, “Could you make it anymore obvious?”

He stares down at me, confused for a second until he catches on.

“What?”

“You’re practically undressing her with your eyes,” I snap. “If you don’t want to be in a relationship, Reign, then just say so. Is it because she’s prettier than me?”

He makes eye contact with the woman again and I whisper, “She watching?”

He nods and says, “Well, with your attitude lately, she’s sure as shit looking better than you.”

I stand, gaping. “How dare you!”

Then, with a devilish glint to my eye, I step forward and tip my drink down the front of his suit pants. His eyes widen and he snarls a curse at me, that I’m sure isn’t part of the act.

“Have her then,” I yell, turning and walking off.

I shove through the crowd until I can get a good spot, and then I turn and peer back at them. The redhead has gone over, her hands full of napkins. Bingo. I watch for only a second as she begins to pat his crotch. Snorting, I spin quickly and find another table. I finish my drink and stare around at the crowd. An interesting bunch to say the least. All very professional.

Bored, I stand and walk over to the bar, ordering another drink. A shot this time. I throw it back and then make my way out the back of the club, which holds numerous rooms. Reign likes to keep his customers happy by providing them with, shall we say, fucking space? I admire the artwork on the walls, and the golden swirls in the maroon carpet as I slowly make my way down.

I’ve barely made it half way when a hand curls around my arm and I’m being dragged quickly and suddenly into a closet. “What the fuck?” I yell.

“It’s me,” Reign says, shoving our bodies into a dark space.

A small, very cramped dark space.

He slams the door and my body is forced up against his. God he’s hard, all over.

“What the hell are we in a storage closet for?” I whisper angrily.

“It’s a broom closet,” he points out.

“Same difference.”

“That girl,” he breathes. “Fucking psycho.”

“So we’re hiding in a closet?”
