“Permission granted.”

    
Dar found Tolan pacing out back.
 
He looked up just in time to see Dar’s fist
before hitting him in the face.
 
He
stumbled back from the blow, but Dar followed and hit him again.
 
The next swing Dar threw, Tolan blocked and
hit Dar in the left cheek.
 
Dar jumped on
Tolan and took him to the ground.
 
Straddling him, he was able to rain more punches before Tolan finally
just covered his face.
 
At the defensive
move, Dar stopped.
 
Heaving, he moved off
his friend.
 
Tolan stood, holding his
bleeding nose while glaring at Dar.
 
“What the hell is your problem?”
 
Tolan shouted.

    
“You are asshole!
 
Kenzie catches you with your dick stuck in
someone else, and I had to watch her cry.
 
I’ve taken care of her all this time, and when she agrees to give you
another chance, you accuse her of fucking me and deny
your
young!
 
Then you walk out, and I am once
again left with a sobbing Kenzie!”

    
“My young?
 
You haven’t fucked her?”
 
He asked with hope in his voice.

    
Shaking his head, and with a humorless
laugh, Dar said, “Forget it asshole,” and walked back inside.
 
He found Zahin and Eliana sitting at the
table.
 
They looked up with wide eyes,
and then Zahin chuckled.

    
“I guess you really did kick his ass, by
the way, nice shiner.”
 

  
  
A
few minutes later, a stunned Tolan walked through the door and took a seat at
the table.
 
He finally looked at Zahin,
“I’m going to be a father.”
 
He
couldn’t
believe it.
 
Her belly was big, so… “She was with young when she left?”
 
He said while looking at Dar.

    
“Yes, she told me right after we arrived
here and that’s why I wouldn’t leave.
 
I
had to protect her and your son.”
 
Dar
had finally calmed down.
 
He took the
last seat at the table.

    
“I can’t believe I have been such an
idiot.
 
She had just agreed to give me
another chance, and I accused her of fucking Dar.”
 
He said.

    
“I have never fucked her.
 
She is like a sister to me.”
 
Dar said
,
making
sure he understood that he would still stand by her.

    
“I need to talk to her.
 
Where did she go?”

    
“I think she went to the common room.”

    
Kenzie had walked a long way while
crying.
 
The waves that once calmed her
didn’t
help.
 
As her
sadness and anger pushed her onward, she
couldn’t
even
see the house anymore.
 
She thought of
how angry Tolan was, which made her even angrier.
 
How could he be upset because she was
pregnant?
 
They had had sex
a lot!
 
The more she remembered what he had said; she realized he thought she
had slept with Dar.
 
They would have
still been on the ship from Earth them.
 
What an asshole!
 

    
As she trudged on, she felt a cramp.
 
Stopping, she felt a stronger cramp as she
bent over to hold her stomach.
 
When it
finally past, she thought about heading back to the house, but decided to sit
down and rest instead.
 
She
didn’t
want to overdo it.
 
She sat watching the waves as she thought about the beaches back on
Earth.
 
Her life had changed so much in
the past year.
 

     
Tolan walked back in the eating area, “I
can’t find her.”
 
He said, slightly
alarmed.
 
He looked to Dar who had spent
the most time with her.

    
“Did you check the bedroom?”
 
Dar asked.

    
“Yes, I checked the whole house.”
 
Tolan said, feeling guilty and very
anxious.
 
Where could she have went?

    
“She must be walking on the beach.
 
She really enjoys that.”
 
They made their way outside, and looking both
directions, found she was nowhere in sight.
 
Zahin and Eliana joined them.
 
“Tolan, you go that direction, I’ll go this way.
 
Zahin, you and Eliana stay here in case she
comes back.”
 
They nodded and Tolan and
Dar went in opposite directions.

    
Tolan spotted Kenzie sitting on the
beach.
 
Feeling relieved, he took a seat
beside her.
 
“I love the beach.”
 
Kenzie said, not looking at him.
 
“It’s so peaceful.”
 
He watched the wave’s crash with her.

    
“I’m sorry Kenzie.
 
I know you are probably tired of hearing me
say that.
 
I used to be calm and level
headed until I met you.”
 
His laugh held
no humor.
 
“When I saw you were with
young, I became insanely jealous.
 
I
thought it belonged to Dar, and that’s why you left with him.”
 
She still
hadn’t
looked at him.
 
“I now know why you don’t
like other females around me.”
 
She
turned her head and their eyes locked.
 
“I want you to be my
Ardhangini
.
 
I want to raise our young together.
 
I promise never to touch another, or let
anyone but you touch me.
 
I can’t live
without you Kenzie.”
 
He saw the tears
fill her eyes.
 

    
“You hurt me.”

    
“Yes.”

    
“You accused me of sleeping with Dar.”

    
“Yes.”

    
“Don’t hurt me again!
 
I can’t take it.”
 
He pulled her into his arms and gave her a
tender kiss that portrayed all of his love for her.
 
He ran his hands through her hair as he
continued to kiss her.
 
When he pulled
her in for a hug, he heard her whisper, “I love you too.”

    
“I know you do.
 
I was just too stupid to accept it.
 
Will you be my
Ardhangini?
”
 
Tolan asked as
he pulled her closer to him.
 
Then he
felt a kick to his stomach.
 
He leaned
back and looked at her belly.
 
“What was
that?”
 

    
“The baby kicked you.”
 
She giggled, as he stared in wonder.
  
“He is always active this time of day.”
 

    
“May I?”
 
Tolan asked with his hand held out.
 
He wanted to feel her belly, feel the young, his young.
 
At her nod, he placed his hand on her belly
and felt the kick again.
 
“He’s strong.”
 
He said with pride in his voice.
 
“How far along are you?”
 

    
“I don’t know.”
 
She admitted.
 
His eyes darted back to hers with surprise, and she saw the question in
them.
 
“I haven’t been checked.
 
I knew I was pregnant, with young…whatever, before
I left, even when I trained with Cadas, but I never told anyone.”
 

    
“We have to get you back to the palace so
Cadas can check you over,” Anxiety evident in his tone.
 
“Judging by your size, you could have the
young at any time!”

    
“Are you saying I’m fat?”
 
She teased.

    
“What?
Fat.
 
NO!
 
I’m not saying that at all.”

    
“I’m sorry, I’m just teasing you.
 
I know I’m huge.”
 
She laughed, and it was the sweetest sound he
had ever heard.

    
“So will you be my
Ardhangini
?”

    
She stared at him for a few minutes, then
said “Yes, but I will not share you, and don’t you even think about bringing
another male into our bed!”
 
At his
embarrassed look, she said, “Yes, I know about Eliana.”
 
He smiled.

    
“Let’s get back to the house.
 
We have to pack your stuff.”
 

Palace

    
They had all arrived back at the
Palace.
 
Even though it was the middle of
the night, Tolan
didn’t
care.
 
He sent for Cadas, and had him meet them in
medical.
 
When he spotted Kenzie, there
was no denying the surprise on his face.
 
“Why are you just now coming here?
 
You should have let me scan you long before now.”

    
“Hi Cadas.”
 
She smiled while he pulled out the hand-held
medi
scanner, and ran it over her abdomen.

    
“This can’t be right.”
 
He said as he repeated the process.
 
“I need to get another scanner, this one
isn’t reading correctly.”
 
Kenzie and
Tolan both waited while Cadas retrieved another one and repeated the procedure.
 
“This one says the same, but there is no
possible way it is right.”
 
He said with
frustration.

    
“Let me see it.”
 
He handed it to Kenzie, and she studied the
screen.
 
Panic showed briefly on her
face, and then she asked, “Why is it impossible?”

    
“Because it has never
happened before.
 
You’re saying it
does on your planet?”

    
“Yes.”

    
“Would someone please tell me what’s going
on?”
 
Tolan said, aggravated.

    
“Well, the scanner says you are having two
young instead of one, and Kenzie confirmed that it happens on her planet.”
 
Tolan’s
head swung
to Kenzie.

    
“Two?”
 
She nodded.
 
“How can you possibly
hold two babies in there?
 
We are big;
what if there isn’t enough room?”

    
“That’s going to be a problem.”
 
Cadas said.
 
“I think you still have…” he was trying to remember her timetable
because Earth females refused to learn theirs.
 
“One of your ‘months’ left to go, and you are almost out of room.
 
I need to scan you every day.
 
Rest as much as you can, and I will be by
your room after second meal.”

    
Tolan carried Kenzie to his rooms,
hopefully their rooms now, as he kept replaying the same words
over and over
in his head.
 
‘Two babies’, he still couldn’t believe it was possible.
 
As he entered, he carried her to the sleeping
chambers and laid her in the bed.
 
He
slowly undressed her and himself as he climbed in and snuggled her up.
 
“I love you Kenzie.”
 
He whispered.

    
“I love you to.
 
I know I said I wanted to take it slow, but
I’ve
missed you.
 
We
may not have much time before our babies are born, so I want to make love to
you now.

    
“We can’t, I don’t want to risk crushing
our young.”
 

    
She needed to feel him, to replace the
last memory she had of him naked.
 
Running her hand down his body, she found his cock standing at
attention.
 
Gripping it, she slid her

while turning just enough to kiss his neck.

The next morning, they headed down for
first meal.
 
Tolan led her to a table,
set her tray of food in front of her, and then went back for

She had just
taken her first bite of food when she spotted
Ginni
near Tolan.
 
She watched as the bitch
started to touch him, but he quickly stepped back.
 
Watching the interaction, she
didn’t
notice when Jada walked up in front of her.
 
“I thought we’d got rid of you!”
 
Jada said with vehemence.
 
When Kenzie just stared at her, her anger
intensified.
 
“I will be in his bed
tonight, and he will toss you out like an old rag!
 
You Earth females think you are special,
but…”
 
Kenzie stood with her pregnant
belly, and while Jada stood staring at it, Kenzie hit her in the side of the
head with her tray, and she went crashing to the ground.

    
Tolan came running.
 
He never noticed Jada for trying to avoid
Ginni
until he heard the crash.
 
He found Jada lying on the floor and Kenzie
sitting at the table, her face filled with pain.
 
“Guards!”
 
Two came forward.
 
“I want
Ginni
and
Jada banned from the Palace!”
 
As they
escorted the two of them out, he turned to Kenzie.
 
“What’s wrong?”

    
Kenzie sat there as her contraction
gripped her hard, and water ran down her leg.
 
Her first contraction had come when she took her first bite of
food.
 
The bitch Jada had stopped and was
saying something to her, but she
didn’t
hear a word of
it.
 
She was trying to keep her composure
until the contraction was over.
 
When it
passed, she took her tray and hit Jada in the head.
 
She really just needed her to shut the hell
up as another contraction gripped her even harder.
 
The next thing she knew, Tolan had kneeled
beside her.
 
She turned to him when he
asked what was wrong.
 
She squeaked out,
“I’m having babies.”
 
The look of shock
on his face almost made her laugh…almost.
 
He scooped her up and carried her to medical.

    
“CADAS!”
 
He came running.
 
“She said she’s having the babies!
 
You need to help her!”

    
“Bring her over here and lay her down,
then close the door.”
 
Cadas started
removing her clothes.

    
“What are you doing?”
 
He asked, not liking Cadas touching her.

    
“We need to remove her clothes so the
young can come out.”

    
“Move, I’ll do it!”
 
He removed her pants, and covered her with a
blanket.
 
He
wouldn’t
let Cadas remove her top, he wanted to keep as much of her as he could private.

    
“Support her back while I check her.”
 
Tolan moved to sit behind Kenzie.
 
He knew Cadas needed to look, but he
didn’t
like that either.

    
“Ok, Kenzie, if you’re like Eliana, then
your body has dilated and your young are ready to come out.
 
Tolan, if you have your comm unit, I need you
to call my medical staff.
 
I’m
not sure what to expect because they are about a… ‘
month
’ early.”
 
While
Tolan called others on his comm unit, he turned to Kenzie.
 
“Ok, I need you to push when you have your
next contraction.”

    
Sweaty and tired, Kenzie gave a hard push
and delivered her first baby.
 
“It’s a
male!”
 
Cadas announced, and then handed
him off to one of the staff members.
 
“Ok
Kenzie, if the scans are correct, then you still
have
one more to go.”
 
She nodded.
 
After several more contractions, she gave one
last hard push and delivered her second baby.
 
“It’s a female!”
 
Cadas said with
awe, and handed her to yet another staff member.

    
Tolan had a new respect for
childbirth.
 
Now he waited to make sure
his young were Ok.
 
Two of them, he still
couldn’t
believe it.
 
Cadas came back and announced that although they were small, they were
healthy.
 
Kenzie held one ‘baby’, while
he held the other one.
 
He looked down to
see his little female.
 
She was beautiful
with her black hair, solid dark brown eyes and alabaster skin.
 
He looked over to find Kenzie talking with
his other young.
 
He had black hair, dark
skin, and bright solid blue green eyes.
 
Tolan laughed with pure happiness as he looked at his perfect family.

    
Kenzie looked at Tolan holding his
daughter.
 
She was beautiful, just like
her son.
 
They were a little small,
around 5lbs each, but they were healthy and
that’s
all
she cared about.
 
She looked down at her
son and said, “I’m going to name you Matthew Tolan.”
 
Looking up at her daughter, she said, “And I
will name you Emily Saia.
 
Is that Ok
with you Tolan?”

    
“I love them.
 
One Earth name with one Sukara name, it’s
perfect.”
 

   
 
“Excuse me for interrupting, but you have
family members that would like to view your young.”
 

    
“Send them in Cadas.”
 
King Yayin, Queen Saia, along with Eliana,
Zahin and Dar entered the room.
 
Dar
walked over to Kenzie, and she smiled, “would you like to hold him?”
 
She placed Matthew in his arms as he held
them out.
 
“His name is Matthew.”
 
As he held the tiny baby, she said, “Thank you
Dar, for everything.
 
I
couldn’t
have made it without you, and I consider you my
best friend.
 
On Earth, we have Godparents
that help raise the children, and will take care of them if something happens
to the parents.
 
I would like you to be
their Godparent.

    
“I would be honored, thank you.”
 
Dar kissed Matthew on the forehead, before
bending down giving her a kiss on the cheek.

    
Tolan held his young as he looked at
Kenzie holding their son.
 
Their eyes met
and he said, “I love you Kenzie, and as soon as you feel like it, we’ll have
the ceremony for you to officially become my
Ardhangini.”

    
She smiled and said, “I love you to, and I
can’t wait!”
