He looked down at Will now that he was back to his full height, Will once again had his arms open for him. He nodded slowly and stepped into him, pulling Will into his embrace and kissed him upon the head.

"I'm sorry that I failed you," the Knight whispered. "I've been searching so long for you My Lady,"

"We can go home together now, it's all over," Will told him.

The Knight seemed to completely relax against him, Will was just starting to wonder how this was supposed to help him, when the Knight didn't feel as solid as he should. He didn't pull away because he didn't want to stop whatever it was that was happening, but he looked over the Knight's shoulder to see that the chamber was also dissolving around them.

"Home, at last," the Knight said relieved before he completely dissolved.

Will was left standing there for a moment longer, in the chamber still dissolving and still in a dress and the body of a woman; then darkness engulfed him suddenly and he was back in the corridor as himself holding something really heavy in his arms and suddenly feeling really tired.

"Will!" Lucy shouted behind him wanting to rush to his side, but Hunter stopped her, while Domnus and Validus checked him over.

"What do you think happened?" Validus asked as he replaced his sword and Will slowly collapsed to his knees holding a book.

"His hairs changed colour," Domnus said. "He's still lost more power whatever it was,"

Will looked up at him, feeling really sleepy all of a sudden, he had heard that he had probably lost more of his powers but he had also stopped the Knight, so that at least counted for something so decided to just let the darkness take him for now.

Chapter Thirty

Lucy was just checking over her school uniform before she was supposed to meet up with her friends as they were all supposed to be going over to the main hall together, for their final school meal of the year before they went home. She still couldn't believe that it was time to go home already, they had somehow finished all of their exam's, the Firmasca had managed to squeeze in all of their matches and the final, which she had missed because she had spent it with Will who had still been in the hospital ward recovering from the Knight.

Lucy was upset that the potion she had created was taking such along time to have a proper affect on him, when she had heard that the others affected were now recovering. They had also gotten into a lot of trouble for going after the Knight themselves, even though they had pointed out that it had wanted Will, and would have probably come after him again, so they just decided to get it over and done with. What she and everybody else couldn't understand is, why did it choose Will, if it needed a girl? Lucy personally thought it would have been easier to choose a girl than to change a guy into a girl, but then she wasn't a confused thousand year old cursed knight, so she couldn't really understand him and his motives.

Lucy closed her wardrobe door and was just about to leave when her computer signalled, she hadn't closed it up yet. She slowly turned around wondering if it was her doctor friend as he had contacted her the other week telling her about the potions, brews and incense that she had given him, he had been really impressed with them. She went over to the computer sitting down to check the message.

To: - Luna

Dear Luna

My incredible Luna, I don't know how I managed all these years without you, you've worked wonders. All those who were attacked are now back on their feet; they're still taking the potion for their powers which hopefully with added re-training they'll re-master in time. I'm sorry to hear about the student that he's still having problems with his powers, but he also did a great service to us all by defeating the Knight. I also heard that you created a summoning potion to help with that, and without using the proper ingredients, you actually re-did it, and by all accounts it worked better.

I'm still in awe of your skills, and probably all of your students are as well; I just hope that we'll be able to work together again soon. If you ever need anything at all, call any time, and I'd be glad to help in whatever I can. I guess I also hope that perhaps if I need any advice that I'll be able to do the same thing.

Again Luna, I have enjoyed working with you, and look forward to the next time.

Dr S.Wray

Lucy smiled to herself, she couldn't help it; she also wanted to send him a quick message back.

From: - Luna

To: - Dr S.Wray

Doctor Wray

Thank you for your message, I'm just glad that I was actually able to help you, as I haven’t really done anything like this before. I was so worried if I was doing it right, you know with it being so important; I'm just glad that everything worked out in the end.

And yes, you can call me; but I'm leaving the school for the holidays tomorrow so you won't be able to contact me here until September. With how thing's have been, we've been told not to contact anyone unless it's through the secure lines; not that I'm worried about you turning out to be apart of the Shadow Order of course. That wouldn't happen considering how much you have done to stop them. It's just in case they hack into the outside lines, as my line at home isn't secure.

I'll contact you though when I get back to school, and then if you need anything you can call me as well.

Luna

Lucy sent the message hoping that it sounded alright, especially about the secure lines, which she knew was true though she also knew that she could probably get a secure line at home, considering all the work that her dad did in secret, but she could always see how this went first. She did like talking to him, but she hated the fact that she had to lie to him, he actually thought that she was a teacher, when she was only a student. What she wasn't looking forward to was the day that she would have to tell him the truth. Another message came through.

Luna I understand with everything that's going on of course. I look forward to September then, and have a good holiday.

Lucy smiled again at his message, she was just about to send him another when there was a knock at the door; she jumped up and ran across to the room as she had completely forgotten that she was supposed to be meeting her friends, but at this rate she was going to be late. She looked back at her computer one last time and smiled before she ran out to join them.

The main hall was a sea of green and was a buzz with excitement as everyone talked about the school year and everything that had happened, people kept pointing over to their table, while Will tried to ignore all of the staring, it didn't help him feel any better that his hair and eyes were still black.

"Everyone's impressed mate," Troy said grinning broadly.

"I know, seriously...how many first years can say that they've done what you and us have?" Alex asked him.

"Um...sure...yeah..." Will said; he could have understood how excited they all were if he hadn't had lost his powers; he just hoped that with his dad's help over the summer that they could sort out his probable, or it won't matter that he had managed to pass all of the written exams, as it was magic usage that he had a problem with.

"I'm sure that everything will be fine," Lucy told him trying to sound reassuring, but wasn't sure that she had pulled it off. She could feel that he was having problems, but she could also feel that it wasn't completely gone either, as there was still something there; she just hoped that he would be able to tap into it.

The hall suddenly fell silently and they turned around to see Professor Odin stood at the teachers table.

"Student's, I'm glad to see you all in such cheerful moods; and you are right to rejoice," Odin told them. "Our school has done much this year to be proud of. First of all, you have all made it through another year and have passed all of your exams so that you can return in the autumn. But I guess that isn't what has gotten you so excited. Yes, a lot has happened this year, and not just at the school but all over this magical world in our great cities. The Shadow Order has tried and failed to gain power, and they will keep failing as long as we all stand together. I also want to take the time to thank several of our first and second years, for their bravery; and yes their reckless behaviour also. They somehow managed to find The Knight that had been attacking our cities and the school, and defeat it, or rather break the curse that was placed upon it.

"This Knight is a good example of the lengths that The Shadow Order will go to, to get what they want, not caring about who get's hurt in the process. We must always fight for what we believe in, but perhaps next time, you inform your teachers before hand so that you don't put yourselves in such danger. Now, as this is our last night here at the school for several weeks, and for some of you this has been your last year at school; I hope that it was memorable," He waved his hand as the tables filled with food and drink. "I hope you all enjoy the night, and remember that you are always welcome back here,"

He stepped back and everyone started talking again as they filled their plates, and readied themselves for a very long night.

Will could actually see sun light ahead of them, as he tried to lead them through the over crowded entrance at the dock as everyone was trying to get off of the ship at the same time, it didn't appear as though there was any order to it unlike when they had arrived at the school; here it was just everyone for themselves. He pulled his case along behind him with his bag over his shoulder, as it had turned out that he had even more stuff coming home with him somehow, and he had left his caldron at the school back in his room.

"This is insane," Troy said as he struggled to keep his own case straight when everyone kept knocking into him.

"It isn't that hard...just keep going forward," Lucy told them. "The doors just ahead...as soon as we get out there it'll be fine,"

"Lucy, you could have gone up front," Will reminded her.

"I thought everyone would have moved for you," Lucy told him; and she had been right to a point as a lot of people have let him get pass and wished them all a good holiday, even though they didn't know more than half of the people who had spoken to them, but it didn't matter as long as they got out of there. "Did I mention I don't like closed in places?"

"Only when you don't get your own way," Troy said smirking at her, and she smiled back at him.

"We're almost there," Will told them as he pushed through several more people, knowing the others would be right behind him as they didn't want to give any space otherwise someone else would take advantage of it like he was trying to do.

A couple more feet and a dozen or so more people and cases and he was out, and could see the large parking lot that he had been dropped off in last year that seemed like a life-time ago after everything that happened. He walked out further so that the others could follow, while he also tried to spot his dad; but truthfully he needed Lucy, who just had to point and that's where they would go; it was a mystery how she did it, but a good one because he trusted her.

"Where to Lu?" Will asked over his shoulder.

Lucy looked around for a minutes or so while the others looked at her, somewhat doubtfully, where as he, Troy and Alex knew her better; then she pointed and he headed off in that direction.

"You know, you'll have to tell me how you do that," Jess told her. "I'm your best friend...we don't keep secrets."

"I don't know, I just do it," Lucy said. "It isn't really something that I can explain,"

"But you will one day," Jess told her smiling as they all walked over to where their parents were waiting for them.

"Oh..." Selena said stopping suddenly. "I'm just this way...I'll call you, and we can meet up,"

The girls all hugged each other before they left her and then they carried on.

"You know, it's as though you were never going to see each other again," Alex teased.

"We don't all live in the same area you know," Libby told him as she looked around for her own parents.

"You'll have to call us as well, so that you can come and visit," Lucy told her.

"Libby dear, over here!" a woman shouted over several cars back, making them all look in her direction; Libby waved at her mum before she said goodbye to the others and went off.

It wasn’t much further until they spotted their own parents, well kind of; Will's uncle was there to take them home, which disappointed him of course because he had loads of questions for his dad about his powers but that would have to wait until he got home now. Will also noticed that Lucy's dad wasn't there either but she was talking to another older guy who seemed to be their driver of a small bus.
