One reviewer wrote:
A Little New Year's Romance by Katie Ingersoll
is plain and simple a really great heartfelt love story. Life's full of ups and
downs, twists and turns, achievement and disappointment. I did find the
believability factor a little difficult to envision initially but the writer
did a great job convincing me otherwise. The story is crisp and smoothly
written and the characters detailed nicely. It's not hard to establish that
emotional connection, particularly with main character Allison.
My personal spiritual beliefs raise questions
but that has nothing to do with the quality or integrity of the unique romance
tale. Daniel, Allison's love, had some characteristics similar to a man I once
dated. It was really weird but I got over it fast. Ingersoll held my focus
pretty much right through the story and left questions in all the right places
that kept pushing me to turn the smoothly written pages. Needless to say I had
lots of work to do but ultimately it waited. Give this love story and read and
let Ingersoll know your thoughts - nicely done!

About the Author

Katie
Ingersoll (1982-      ) was born in San Diego, California. Her parents have
recently retired, but made their living running a seaside restaurant. Katie has
fond memories of working at the restaurant as a teenager and waiting on tables.
Summers there were endless and she developed a love of the beaches, the
boardwalk and the sea. In her early twenties, she moved to New York City to
follow her dream of becoming a magazine editor. Jobs were scarce, but she was
able to find work at small publishing houses, where she fell in love with
creative writing. Adding to her editing responsibilities, she began to write
news columns. Being a romantic herself, she started to write her own romance
novels. Katie endured some personal crises in her life, and having worked through
some very difficult issues, her faith in God has grown tremendously. Now she is
committed to writing spiritual and Christian romance that shows the
transforming power of God in peoples' lives.
