His girl was so far into her head, she wasn’t making any sense. It was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen.

Mine.

His heart pounded.

She was so open. Her skin glistened. Her pussy so swollen with need and dripping. His cock jerked.

Now
.

With one hand on his cock and the other on the swing, he jerked her forward and impaled her. No sooner was he inside her and she gripped him with clenching pressure.

“Fucking fuck.” He ground forward, using the movement of the swing to move in and out of her. Hard thrusts out of control. His body was shaking as hard as hers. He should slow down, draw this out, but he couldn’t. Fire sizzled along his spine and he had no hope of stopping.

He pounded in and out of her, pleasure beating in his head.

“Can’t stop fucking you, girl.” Wet skin slapped on wet skin with the scent of sex everywhere. Mason closed both hands on her hips and thrust several more times with short, hard strokes before hammering into her one last time.

His head spun as he came so hard he rocked the swing. He sucked in air as the aftershocks of her orgasm vibrated around his cock. He pressed his head against the soft pillow of her breasts and listened to her heart beating erratically. “You’re too perfect, babe. Never felt like this before. No way to let go. Can’t let go…”

With a frustrated sigh, he realized he had to move. He wanted to take her home and hide her from the world. He wanted to keep her.

Her kissed her stomach and slowly withdrew. Sometime soon he wanted to feel her without any barrier. Maybe he could talk to her about that. He unclipped her garters from her battered flesh and grabbed a warm towel from the table beside them.

Mason disposed of the condom, fastened his pants then hurriedly removed her from the swing.

“I thought you might want this my friend.”

He started at the familiar voice. Kyle, one of the resident Masters, stood nearby holding out a blanket.

“Thanks.” He took the offering and used it to wrap Rebecca in his arms, making sure she was completely covered.

“That was insane, Mason. If I’d known you were going to provide one of the hottest scenes this club has ever seen I would have raised tonight’s admission. I thought you said she was a new trainee.”

“She is.”

Kyle lifted his brows. “Really? If that’s so then I suggest you keep her close. Someone might be tempted to take her from you.”

A rumbling sound started in Mason’s chest at the insane suggestion.

Kyle smiled at him. “That’s what I thought.” He clapped him on the shoulder. “Well, next time you bring her in, be sure to let me know.”

Mason watched his friend walk away and frowned. He didn’t like Kyle’s implied statement at all. What he did or didn’t do with Rebecca was no one’s business. They were definitely out of here.

He carried her out of the building and straight into the waiting car. “Take us back to the hotel and use the back entrance.” He was not going to embarrass her by carrying her through the casino wrapped in a blanket and obviously out of it. There were private elevators to all of the penthouses he hadn’t bothered to tell her about. Earlier he wanted to make a point of walking her out in public. Now, he wanted to hide her.

She was his.

He cringed at how fixated he sounded. He was so far out of his comfort zone with her, if he was smart he’d end things now.

His gut clenched.

Goddamned complications. When exactly would they end? Which reminded him he needed to call Victor and check in. Lost in Rebecca’s body it was easy to forget about everything else. Unfortunately, duty called. He glanced down at the woman now sleeping in his arms. Once he got her settled in the bedroom, he had some documents to go over for tomorrow’s final meeting.

Hopefully this time tomorrow, he’d not only own a new hotel but he’d be one step closer to securing the future. As soon as he got back to Charlotte, he’d schedule a meeting with Gabe. Offering his friend a more important role at Purgatory was long overdue.

There was also Nina to check in on. She didn’t often get in contact in with him, but over the last few weeks she was on his mind. He would feel a lot better if he laid eyes on her long enough to scope out her emotions.

Savannah Lewis’ confession drudged up old memories better left in the past. Now that some of the details on what kind of freak the reverend had been were out in the open, he might consider giving Rebecca more of their story. She had more than lived up to her end of the contract and deserved some of the answers she was so anxious to find.

Tomorrow.

They had a lot to talk about.

Chapter Nineteen

Rebecca sat in a comfy chair on the terrace of the penthouse suite overlooking the Las Vegas strip only a few blocks away. She sipped her coffee and pulled her legs under her, soaking in the warm sun. Her body ached, but in a really good way.

Last night had been one of the most intense experiences of her life. She was still processing. One thing she learned so far was that when she truly let go and let Mason take charge, it became incredibly easy to submit to him.

He was also damned kinky. She shivered at the memory of her being spread and displayed in the club last night. Mason on the other hand was completely in control at all times, making it easy for her to keep forgetting they were not alone. She may not have known the details of their night in advance, but he obviously went to great lengths to plan and prepare for every detail.

And what a night it was. While she was a little hazy about the latter half, she clearly remembered an earth shattering orgasm and the resulting warmth still wrapped around her heart. She frowned. What was she supposed to do now?

There was no doubt in her mind she was falling for him.

Was the connection still buzzing through her veins only one sided?

All of her sexual experience to this point was at the extreme opposite end of the spectrum. Cold. Emotionless. There was nothing cold at all about Mason. He pushed her buttons and then some.

She sat amazed by her reactions. Why was she not freaking out? She gave up all control to a man she still didn’t know that much about. Where was her sister’s journal when she needed it? Maybe re-reading what she went through could make up for the fact she had no one to talk to about this stuff.

Maybe trying to relive her sister’s last days wasn’t a great idea either.

Rebecca focused on the needle-like hotel jutting up into the sky well into the distance. After almost ten years of working toward one goal, letting go wasn’t an easy thing. The idea of giving up before she found out the truth twisted her insides into an irreversible knot. If she gave up now to one day later discover she was right…

She hated being unsure about the decision she needed to make. Her life being in a shambles was getting old.

When the penthouse phone rang, Rebecca almost ignored it. Thoughts of her sister were dragging her down and Mason said he had business that would take all day. Plus if he wanted to talk to her he would have called her on her cell phone. Since no one else knew she was here she couldn’t think of anyone who would be calling. But it occurred to her Mason might have had more of the packages from their shopping trip delivered and someone from downstairs would call first before sending them up.

She abandoned her comfy spot outdoors and answered the phone.

“Hello.”

“Rebecca? Is that you?”

She didn’t recognize the female voice. “Uh—yes,” she said.

“This is Maggie. I don’t know if you remember me. I’m engaged to Mason’s brother, Tucker.”

“I remember you.” Holy shit. Mason’s brother?

“Is it okay for me to come up?”

“You’re here? In the hotel?” What the hell was going on?

“Didn’t Mason tell you?”

Rebecca took a small breath. “Umm—no, he didn’t tell me anything.” She paused, letting that thought sink he. He really hadn’t shared anything.

“If I could come up, I’ll explain everything. No biggie.”

Something about the tone of Maggie’s voice told her it actually was a big deal. For her to be in Vegas at the same time as she and Mason couldn’t be an accident or a coincidence. Something was going on and she wanted to know what.

“Sure, come on up.”

“Thank you. This is going to be great.”

The phone went dead in her hand and she returned it to the cradle. She glanced around the room for what she had no idea. A life line?

With Maggie on her way up to talk to her, Rebecca’s stomach fluttered with nerves. Maybe she should change. Since she had not expected to do much today other than lounge around and catch up on her rest, she chose a casual sundress to wear. Oh crap. She didn’t even have shoes on.

The elevator dinged and the doors swished open. Rebecca turned to see the pretty petite brunette bound into the room. Seriously. She had a spring in her step.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, Rebecca. Since we weren’t formally introduced let’s make it official.” She held out her hand and Rebecca shook it.

“Hi.”

The first thing she noticed was the feminine pink high-waisted dress that stopped just above her knees and the second thing she noticed were the shoes. Damn.

Shoe envy, she had it.

They were nude suede sandals with elaborate open scroll work across the top of her feet.

“Nice shoes.”

Maggie glanced down and burst out laughing. “Thank you. I think they’re my new favorite.”

“I can see why.”

“Look, I’m really sorry to just show up like this. I just assumed you knew I was coming.” Maggie’s seemingly heartfelt smile made Rebecca relax a little.

“Why are you here though? We’re a long way from home.”

The other woman’s smile widened before she leaned forward and lowered her voice. “I’m getting married tonight.”

That was pretty much the last thing she expected to hear.

“Umm. Congrats.”

“Don’t look so nervous. I don’t have an evil plot up my sleeve for coming to see you. I mean I know you’re a reporter, but if Mason trusts you then really that’s gotta be good enough for me. He’s the hardest hardass I know.”

It was her turn to smile. “I think I’d say that was a pretty good descriptor. Although don’t tell him I said that.”

“No problem.” Maggie caught sight of something over her shoulder, and Rebecca turned to look.

“Wow, interesting room. I had no idea this hotel offered anything like this.”

She’d forgotten about the naked women in the shower silhouettes in the foyer that swayed in reaction to movement.

“Oh that’s nothing. You should see the bathroom. Or the orgy bed. This place is pretty salacious. But the outdoor terrace and private plunge pool are amazing.”

“I guess I shouldn’t be surprised really. Our men have quite the imaginations when it comes to their kink.”

No kidding. And she had the delicious marks today to prove it.

Maggie turned back to her. “Anyway, I do have a non-nefarious ulterior motive for being here and it has nothing to do with this wild room.” She took a deep breath. “I’m getting married and I have nothing to wear. So…I need to go shopping and I was hoping you’d go with me.”

“Me?”

“Yes, you. Tucker insisted we fly out here alone and make our relationship all legal and all.” Maggie rubbed her stomach. “I swear ever since I told him I was pregnant, he’s gotten even more obsessive than usual. Although he would say he’s just being protective.”

“Wow. You’re pregnant. Congrats.” For a second, Rebecca felt a stab of longing before quickly shrugging it away. She had way too much to worry about other than starting a family.

“Thank you. We haven’t told many people. I’ve been reading up on the statistics on a first pregnancy and I think we should hold off until I get through my first trimester before blabbing all over the place.”

She nodded. “I don’t know much about pregnancies or babies so I guess that sounds good.”

Silence fell awkwardly and Rebecca didn’t know where to direct the conversation.

“So anyways, that leaves me on my own to get what I need for tonight. And I hate the thought of shopping for a wedding dress alone. Will you go with me?”

Again, not what she expected in her wildest dreams.

“I….” She bit her lip. “Sure.”

Glancing in the direction of the bedroom, she contemplated what she packed in her small bag that might be appropriate for the kind of shopping Maggie had in mind.
