She laughed, looking away from him to the front of the theatre which listed the movies that were playing.  "Maybe I can convince him to pay me never to come home again.  That sounds right up his alley.  It's not like he'd miss the money."

"No, Tor.  I mean it.  I'm going to get out of this shit myself.  No matter what I have to do."

"I told you Tony.  You're not getting away from me that easily.  We're in this together.  No matter what shit you have to go through, we're going through it together.  And there has to be some advantage of having a rich stepfather right?"

He shook his head and scanned the movie titles.  The only thing that was playing for the late show was a romantic comedy that started in ten minutes.  "C'mon Tor.  We better get inside or we'll miss the movie.  We'll talk about this later."

She gave him a kiss.  "I mean it too, Tony.  I love you.  I'm not my mother and I will stick by you.  I'm not going to let you get away from me because you think you're doing the right thing.  You're stuck with me babe."

"Okay Tor." He squeezed her hand, but there was a look in his eyes that made her wonder.

He paid for the movie tickets and two sodas.  They walked back to the darkened theater, taking a seat in the middle of the back row.  The theatre was almost empty.  Besides Tory and Tony there was only a middle aged couple, glancing furtively around; as if they were afraid someone would catch them together, and a teenage couple making out brazenly in the front row.

She smiled at the sight of the teenagers, and was reminded of Carl and Andi.  She remarked softly to Tony as the previews started on the big screen, "I don't think you've got to worry too much about Carl anymore Tony.  I think Andi will keep him on the straight and narrow.  I think any red blooded American male would make sure they did whatever they could to make sure a girl like her stayed around."

He grinned.  "He is pretty whipped isn't he?"

"He's living any teenage boy's wet dream.  A gorgeous girl who puts out on the first date and is making plans so she can be near him.  You can see it in her eyes that she's already planning their damn wedding."

"What about you Tor?  You got any wedding plans?"

She shook her head and gave him an innocent look.  "Nope.  Don't they say people quit having sex after they get married?  We can never get married.  I'll go out of my mind if you stop having sex with me."

"Honey I would blow your mind on our honeymoon.  You'd be bragging about it to your friends for years afterwards."

He gave her a kiss that made her wonder if he knew he already blew her mind every time he kissed her.

She looked at him through hooded eyes, thinking that she would have sex with him in the theatre.  "You're going to keep me around?  You're not going to disappear into the sunset thinking that you're doing me a favor when all I've been able to think about for the past few days is how right it feels to wake up in your bed?"

"If you've got it into your stubborn head that I'm what you want, I guess you're stuck with me."

Then he leaned over and gave her another kiss that left her wanting more.  "The movie's already started, and unlike those two." He gestured to the teenagers who were still making out.  "I don't think we paid for our tickets so we could make out."

"There's something to be said for a dark theatre.  No one around."

"You're gonna jump my bones as soon as we leave your mom’s house Tor." He chuckled.  "I'm not gonna get arrested for boning you in a movie theatre.  And I thought I had a sex addiction."

"Maybe if you weren't so sexy and so good in bed I wouldn't want you so much."

"I was born this way.  Eyes to the front babe.  We've already missed the start of the movie."

She sighed dramatically, noticing that the middle aged adulterers had joined in the make-out fest started by the teenagers.  "Everyone else is doing it."  She glanced up at the screen for the first time and noticed the actors were half naked too.  "Even they're doing it.  You bring me to a tonsil hockey convention and leave me high and dry Tony?  Why do I suddenly feel like the man in this relationship?"

He laughed softly as he put his arm around her.  "Maybe I like it when you're as worked up as you were the other night, begging me to give it to you."

"Women have more willpower than men.  If you don't shut your mouth maybe I'll make you beg for it until the night before I leave to go back to school.  Sleeping naked next to you, wearing nothing around the house all day but that slutty lingerie you insisted on buying for me."

"I bet you'd crack before I did.  I drive you nuts walking around without a shirt on darlin."

She raised an eyebrow at him.  "You wanna see who cracks first?  We'll invite Carl and Andi over every day, let them make out in front of us, slip off to the bedroom.  You know that bothers guys more than girls knowing that someone else is doing it right under their noses when they're not getting any."

"I wasn't the one who got so worked up over watching two people making out in the woods that I made you pull over and screw by the side of the road was I?"

"Like you minded."

"Nah baby, I never mind when you seduce me.  It drove me nuts until you got comfortable enough to make the first move.  There's nothing like knowing a beautiful woman is hot for your bod."

"And there's nothing like yours Tony." She was already driving herself crazy with the thought.  Naked just out of the shower, hair wet and curly, lounging on the bed with a cigarette, his hard abs and the muscles in his arms, his tight ass when he leaned over to put out his cigarette.  And he was all hers.  She sighed at the very thought, trying to return her attention to the movie where the two lovers had parted and were going broken hearted about their lives because of a stupid fight.

"Tony," she whispered, poking him in the arm.

"What?"

"Look." She motioned to the couple.

He nodded, returning his attention to the screen.  "Takes practice to do it in a position like that."

Scowling, she poked him again.  "Doesn't it bother you?"

“Nope.  They wanna do it and face going to jail for getting caught screwing in public, more power to them.  Although, I can see what a turn on it would be to know that at any second that pimple faced usher might walk in and catch them going at it."

She gave him another dirty look.  "It didn't turn you on to think about screwing me in my bed, thinking that Lindsey or Langston might catch us?"

"Hell no, Tor.  When some dude threatens to cut your penis off if he catches you French kissing his stepdaughter, it doesn't exactly get you hard thinking what he might do if he caught you screwing her."

“You're no fun.”

"I happen to be quite attached to my penis woman.  I kinda thought you had quite an attachment to it too.”  He gave her a sexy smile.  "There was a little something that gave me that idea.  Oh, what was it?" He pretended to ponder.  "I remember now.  I think it went a little something like 'Oh Tony, oh Tony, oh.  .  ."

He had to stop because she clamped her mouth fully over his, silencing him with a rough kiss.

"You better stop making fun of me or I'm gonna wait until Lindsey and Langston stumble home and then stand in the hallway outside your room and do that, to see if Langston's really got the guts to.  .  ."

He stopped her with a kiss of his own, pushing his tongue fully into her mouth, leaving her to sit back with an exasperated sigh several minutes later.

"If you don't stop kissing me like that I'm gonna make you rent a motel room so we can have sex."

"I told you so." He grinned.  "I knew you'd crack first."

"We haven't started." She sat back and crossed her arms over her chest.  "And I was kidding.  I'm not that hard up for sex."

"We'll see." She could see he was hiding a smile.

The credits had started rolling on the movie.  The older couple got to their feet, straightening their clothes.  The woman was trying to get her hair back into place.  The man gave Tony a satisfied grin as they passed.

Tory shook her head.

"Don't give me that look Tor.  I know you were thinking it too."

"Too?  You were sitting there calm and collected watching that stupid movie while everyone around us was doing it or thinking about doing it."

"Don't think that you don't get to me Tor.” He took her hand as they walked into the chilly night air.  "And I know how you think.  You get this look on your face, like you're concentrating really hard, or trying really hard to think about something else when you're thinking about sex; but know you shouldn't be or at least think you shouldn't be.  It's a classic case of a guilty conscience.  You like sex.  Hell, you REALLY like sex but you think it's wrong to like it, to want it as much as you do."

She could feel herself blushing as she got into the driver's seat of the car.  He had her pegged she thought, but then again he always did.  Was everything she thought, she felt, so transparent?

He leaned over and gave her a soft kiss on the mouth.  "It's not wrong to like sex.  You're seventeen years old babe.  You held on to your virginity longer than about 90% of other kids your age.  And it's not like everyone can look at you and know you're thinking about it.  I'm just talented."

She scowled as she pulled out of the parking lot, and decided it was time to change the subject.  "So, are you feeling better?"

“Yeah.  The movie really wasn't that bad.  You should have watched it, instead of driving yourself crazy daydreaming about me naked."

"You're an asshole."

"Don't think for one minute that it's not going to drive me nuts having you sleeping down the hall from me and not being able to touch you.  I just don't want to push my luck with your stepdad."

"I hate hearing that word.  I don't know why the word dad has to be associated with someone because they happen to be married to your mother.  I wouldn't give a shit if it was the president that was married to my mother.  Just because some rich idiot is screwing my mother doesn't mean that they have a damn thing to do with being my dad."

"So." He must have sensed that it was better to change the subject again.  “Did you ever wonder what it would be like to have a big family?"  There was an almost wistful tone in his voice.

"I wondered what it would be like to have a sister sometimes.  It might have been nice to have someone to bitch about Lindsey with.  Knowing my luck, if I'd have had a sister she would have turned out like Lindsey.  That would have sucked even more.  I was glad that she never married anyone with kids.  With the idiots she was married to, I can only imagine what their kids would have been like.  Why do you sound wistful?  Carl is practically your little brother."

"I know.  I was thinking that with you being an only child you might want more than one kid."

She sighed, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye as she lit a cigarette.  "You are not telling me that really want ten kids."

"Not quite that many.  Two, maybe three.  I'd love to have a son.  Name him after my Dad; tell him all the stories about what we did together when I was a kid.  Uncle Keith would make a great substitute grandpa and Aunt Lori would spoil them to death.”

"She'd have to because I don't think I'd want to tell them my mother existed."

"That's pretty fucked up, to not to give her a chance."

"She doesn't want to admit that she's old enough to be the mother of a teenage daughter half the time.  What makes you think she's ever going to admit she's old enough to be a grandmother?"

"Babies change everything.  Well, you hope they do obviously; but that's not always the case.  You can't have a kid and not tell them that they have a grandma.  What are you gonna do, tell them she's dead?  Then they'd probably end up upset with you when they find out it's not true."

"I think that they'd meet her once and decide they'd have been better off not knowing she existed.  Who the hell wants to meet a crabby alcoholic bitch that would throw a shit fit if a little kid messed up her perfect clothes?  They'd probably take one look at her and run away screaming.  You want to put a kid through that Tony?  And why are you thinking about kids?  You tell me you think that I'd be better off without you because your life's a mess and you don't know how you're going to get it straightened out.  Now you've got us married with three kids, taking them to meet good old grandma Lindsey."

He sighed.  "It doesn't hurt to think about it does it?  Something's got to get you through.  I think you'd make a really good mother Tor."

"Because mine is so wonderful that I'd know what the hell to do with a kid?"

"It comes natural baby."

She raised an eyebrow.  "What the hell do you do if it doesn't?  Do you take them back to the hospital, hand them to the nurse and say 'you know, this mother stuff doesn't feel natural, would
you mind?'  We'd all be better off if Lindsey had done that after I was born.  Or she could have handed me over to my dad.  But no, she has to make us all miserable by pretending."

"You are so bitter baby."

"And your point is what?  You've got an aunt and uncle that treat you like a son.  I'll bet that with as messed up as your mom's ever been you've always known that she loves you.  All I've got is a mother who'd rather I'd never been born and a father who never had the guts to fight for me.  Oh, and let's not forget the long line of stepfathers who acted like I was never anything more than an inconvenience."
