“Ocean, please just call this off.” I said, looking at the twenty something people or so getting ready to play flag football.

Santi even offered to play after Ocean had a few words with him, which I’m pretty sure included the inquiry about the mystery thumb size bruise on my arm. Once he saw it, Santi was all in the game. I was going to be the bait until Oscar weaseled his way over to me; something that Ocean was convinced would happen.

He was so amped and ready to go it was funny. I would have laughed if this display of macho bullshit were not taking place here of all places.

They were acting like little kids trying to control the playground at recess. Ocean strutted his sexy self over to me and I tried not to look at the marks on his neck but they were a visible and a constant reminder of his weakness.

Of course, he knew what I was looking at. He wasn’t stupid enough to try and hide it so he held his chin up refusing to cower away from me.

When he got to me, he put his hands on either side of my hips. “You ready, baby?”

Oh how I wished that question applied to a totally different subject matter.

He leaned in closer. “Don’t worry baby, when we get through this I’ll ask you if you’re ready for that too.”

My face heated up. Was there anything I could keep from this cocky bastard? The smile he gave me answered that question too.

“But for now, you are going to sit here and watch your man play. Can you do that for me?”

When he picked me up placing me on the top of the picnic bench, I wanted to wrap my legs around him and never let him go.

He stood in front of me, waiting for an answer.

“Yes, I can do that. Just please be careful. If you hu…”

“I won’t hurt myself any more than I already have baby. I know that now.”

He quickly kissed me on the lips then stepped back pulling his shirt off. He tossed it into my lap as I took in his body.

Damn the man had a body to die for!

I don’t know if it was the fact he was getting ready to play a contact sport or what, but his muscles were tensed and bulging.

His arms were lined with veins and I wanted to lick them following their trails from where they started to where they finished. He shook his head laughing at me.

He gave me a wink before he turned around, jogging towards the middle of the playing field.

I watched the muscles dance along his back as he trotted. I was mesmerized by the way they pushed, pulled, stretched, and coiled under his skin.

Law removed his shirt too and I caught Dulce drooling as she leaned against a tree. I couldn’t blame her. It was scary how similar Ocean and Law were built.

They were both tall, over six feet. They both had broad and wide shoulders with great arm reach for boxing. No wonder they won gold in the MMA fighting ring.

Their torsos were long and lean. Even though they were built, it wasn’t like John Cena crazy. They were lean and defined. The eight packs they both rocked didn’t help my sanity either. The beautiful tattoo and scars dancing on Ocean’s chest and stomach had me clenching my muscles tight, trying to remind myself to breath.

As the game began, I prayed that it would end on a good note because this little cock fest could end very, very bloody.

Chapter Thirty-Five

Livie

I was so into the game laughing and cheering from the picnic table, I didn’t feel Oscar creep up next to me and lean against the table. Ocean and Law were pretty focused on the game so I was trying not to move a muscle to draw attention to where I was sitting.

“Those two sure are popular.” Oscar said, breaking the artic ice-cold atmosphere closing in on me.

I was furious with him. I could care less about my bullshit bruise but Dulce; she was too good to be harassed and tortured by this asshole.

“You’re pretty good at keeping secrets. I like that about you. You sort of remind me of Dulce bef…”

“Fuck you! You have some fucking nerve, you know that! You walk around this damn facility like you own the place. And you very well feel like you do, given you barge into my goddamn room whenever you please, but you don’t own me and you sure as hell don’t own DULCE!”

Yeah I lost it.

“You sure about that? You sure I don’t own you both. I’m here all day every day. You think those guys give a shit about you once they leave? If you ask me, you’re just pity pussy because I know for a fact you weren’t around last night to give him those hickies.”

I felt the way Law does when he loses his ability to think rationally because by the time he finished saying the word hickies, my foot had already connected with his face. I swung my body around and kicked up hard enough to send him flying back.

When I went to jump up off the table, two sweaty powerful arms came around me, trapping my arms and body from advancing. I immediately knew it was Law because he was trying not to laugh. No use in putting up a fight because he wasn’t going to let me go until Ocean gave him the okay.

Ocean was standing over Oscar with his hands fisted as he shuffled his weight from foot to foot.

“Ocean, stick to it! Come on man!” Law yelled over my head as people started closing in on us.

When Ocean reached us he pulled me out from Law’s grip looking me over. “Sorry baby. I got into the game and when I looked, you already drop kicked him in the face. You okay?”

He pulled me into a hug, refusing to let me go until he felt I was okay. I was but he didn’t have to know right away.

“I’m okay, just get this over with. And when you knock him on his ass, don’t hold back Ocean.”

I knew I was asking for trouble but that asshole needed to be knocked back a whole lot of pegs in order to get the hint that we belonged to the worst set of cousins he would ever encounter in his lifetime.

Ocean took the advance. “You got it baby.”

He spun around, walking towards Oscar who was holding his jaw. His lip was bleeding again and I smiled in his face. Ocean walked in front of him, blocking my view.

Law led me back to my seat on the table rubbing my back. I didn’t even notice Dulce was clinging to one of his arms for dear life. The smug grin on his face spoke volumes.

Ocean grabbed Oscar by the shoulder. I imagine he is applying as much pressure as he could and by the strain on Oscar’s face, there was a lot of pressure being applied.

“Sorry about that man, she has anger management issues. We could use you in the game though.”

Oscar shoved Ocean’s arm off with a grunt. “No thanks. I’ll pass.”

He was about to walk away when Ocean blocked his escape route.

“Yeah, that might be true and the best option for you but I wasn’t asking.”

Oscar’s eyes searched the field, resting his eyes on Dulce as they narrowed.

Law shook her off his arm pushing her into me and I grabbed onto her holding tight. “I think it was my cousin speaking to you, not Dulce. Get your punk ass on the field and play with some real men.”

Oscar didn’t say anything; he just made his way slowly to the field. As the boys passed us making their way back, Ocean stopped pecking his lips on mine, while Law gave Dulce a quick hug.

The game started off okay but once the flag was in Oscar’s possession, all hell broke loose. Of course Ocean was the one to make the first hit, knocking Oscar to the ground like a jackhammer.

Law was next, clothes lining him in the throat and sending him flying through the air into Santi, who in return shoved him, hard towards the ground.

Dulce and I were dying of laughter the whole time. No one was keeping track of the game or points anymore. Everyone was just enjoying the free hits on the scumbag. On the final hit Trevor and Joseph, the two guards, had to step in or Ocean was going to break Oscar’s neck.

Ocean didn’t put up a fight when they pulled him back, just smiled down at Oscar kicking grass into his face. Oscar was doubled over, spitting up his own blood by the time Ocean walked away.

The sun had gone down about thirty minutes or so ago. Most of the residents were making their way back inside but not before high fiving both Ocean and Law for a great and entertaining game.

Visiting hours were long over but for reasons beyond me, no one bothered Ocean and Law. I even saw Marion come out here about an hour ago to watch the propaganda and she didn’t even raise an eyebrow.

Dulce and I helped the boys that now included Santi, Trevor, and Joseph clean up the courtyard before heading inside.

Close enough to the doors, Ocean pushed Dulce and me inside mouthing for me to wait for him. Before I could refuse he grabbed the door, closing it in my face while turning to face the guys.

“They sure do have a way with words and actions.” Dulce said with something sensual simmering in her eyes.

I really took a look at Dulce. Since meeting her she looked the most relaxed I’ve seen her.

“Yes, they do. Are you good with reading lips because I’m terrible?” I asked while she giggled.

“Mija, I’m trying not to read his lips.”

I knew she was talking about Law because he kept doing that LL Cool J lip licking move on her and he was working it. I busted out laughing and he immediately straightened up.

Ocean slapped him in the chest to pay attention. A couple minutes later, the guys all agreed on something and they walked in with knowing grins on their faces.

Ocean wrapped his arm around my neck, pulling me down the hall towards my room.

“Hey. Where do you think you’re going? No sleep overs.”

He shook his head. “We’re just walking you to your room and taking a shower.” He said quickly.

“I would say no way, but you guys stink!” Dulce said laughing, taking off down the hallway with Law on her heels.

God it was good to see him happy!

I knew he had a long way to go with her and her with him, but it was good knowing that they finally found someone and something good in life.

I walked in silence under Ocean’s arm because even though he turned the evening around, the fact still remained that he had lost it.

Walking into the room, I could hear the water running in Dulce’s shower as she plopped down on her pillow going through her cell phone.

Ocean walked over to my shower after I gave him a towel.

I plopped down on my bed realizing that not once had I felt my wrist hurt since the boys arrived. It was silly to believe a person could have that much effect on your body but it was so true.

Ocean and Law stepped out of the bathroom at the same time and I rolled my eyes. They probably timed that too.

Chapter Thirty-Six

Ocean

The talk with the guys was a good one. Law and I basically hired the three trust worthy men of the facility that were built like powerhouses to protect our women. Yes, we hired in-house security. I felt a hell of a lot better now than I did two hours ago.

I played back Liv’s sweep kick to that jerk’s face and a smile spread across my face like a wildfire. I knew she could handle herself given the way she was pulling the hell out of my hair and the second assault she landed on the creep.

But she was five foot four at best, recovering from a leg and arm wound, and could be easily overpowered even by that creep.

I knew she had mad skills when it came to fighting, but so much has changed since her days of being able to stand her own ground. I’m sure by the morning the girls will figure out the security detail we just struck and I hope it will earn a smile instead of a frown.

I opened the bathroom door and propped on the bed was my world. She looked exhausted and nervous as she played with her hair.

“Alright, old ladies get up and hit the showers.” Law said loud enough to wake up the dead.

His girl sat up, slapping her phone against the mattress. She glared up at him and when he winked at her, she stood up storming into her bathroom slamming the door in his face.

“That’s cool Blue because I’m not leaving until you come back out all showered, cute and ready for bed.”

We heard her kick the door and all of us started laughing. Law sat down on the edge of her bed and pulling out his phone.

I turned back to Liv, who was staring at the ceiling. I walked over to her, tossing my shirt on her bed. I wasn’t ready to get dressed yet. I loved being near naked around her.

The memories of when I used to strip her down and cuddle with her body in bed made my heart beat louder in my ears. It was something I was craving right now, not just to have sex, but also to be skin-to-skin holding her.

I reached down for her arm with the brace, unstrapped it, and turned her arm over running my fingers over her healing scar.

She looked away but I kept tracing the scar all the way up to her elbow before placing her hand back on the bed.

“Go on baby, we’ll leave once you and Dulce are showered and ready for bed. I’ll wait out here, okay?”

She sat up, looking at my neck as she scooted her way off the bed. I wanted to stop her and explain what really happened, including the part about me doing coke and not remembering but I stopped myself as she stood and walked into the bathroom.
