With one hand Eva pointed to a spot just an inch from
her other.

“I just needed to choose,” she continued. “I stopped
worrying about what people might think. I stopped worrying about
how it might look. I just chose to do it. Take this one little
step, and you’ll see.”

Eva dropped her smiles and slid a hand on top of
Lane’s.

“Lane, you need to do this. You need to fuck this hot
young man. Not for yourself. But for me, Lane. You need to do it
for women.” Eva held her eyes for a beat before they both exploded
in giggles again.

“Well, he did ask me out for drinks after the
Halloween mixer,” Lane said.

“See! He’s right there. Just take him,” Eva said.
“What did you say?”

“No.”

Eva pointed to Lane. “That’s what has to change.”

From there, Lane could feel herself begin to roll
towards this idea, like Eva’s words had pushed her over the lip of
a hill. Gravity and fate would do the rest.

‘Eva is a great devil on my shoulder when she put her
mind to it,’ Lane thought.

The more they talked it through, the more realistic
it became. Kyle was one of the better interns, smart, conscientious
and eager. He wasn’t some frat house douche bag. His internship was
due to end with the Christmas break. He was going to get a good
recommendation, so sending him off with a glowing report wouldn’t
be a problem. Lane’s conscience could be clear.

The rest had flowed from there. Considerations of
should or shouldn’t gave way to how and when. By the time they were
paying the bill, Lane’s mind was roiling with what the next few
days could hold.

“You are such a temptress,” she teased as they hugged
good-bye.

“I’m the best,” Eva said.

About T. Lee Alexis

Under another name, author T. Lee Alexis has worked
in entertainment journalism for more than a decade and interviewed
some of the biggest names in movies, TV and music. Because the
rumors, back-stage gossip and wild tales of the rich, famous and
powerful will be spilled out in coming arousing fiction, a
pseudonym is required.

Alexis’s writing spans the spectrum of sexual and
romantic adventure in the early 21
st
century, from the
night life of Chicago to the board rooms of New York, from the
capitals of Europe and Asia to the Hollywood Hills parties of the
most famous, and secretly depraved, people on earth. With a
combination of close observation and a naked desire to entertain
readers, Alexis’s style is searing, scandalous, amusing, shocking
and above all, erotic.

Through these stories, Alexis examines everything
interesting, arousing and satisfying about the way different
combinations of men and women unleash their most secret desires and
satisfy their most taboo hungers.

Alexis’s first series, The Ravenwood Circle, is based
on close friends in Chicago who found their marriage diverted onto
a surprising path when the wife decided they were no longer going
to be like every other couple in the neighborhood. The shocking
consequences of that first decision eventually ripple out to family
and friends in amazing actions and reactions which will have to be
read to be believed.
