Chapter 11

     Angyl had absorbed so much new information from reading Ace's ancestors journals. Later Ace was talking to her about the Were's informing them that the smell that the vamps were smelling around the property was a demon. Well a part demon, part man. Angyl was still trying to get used to vampires. Now there’s also werewolves (which while one was here she asked him if he could only change during the full moon or anytime. He laughed at her and said anytime, that the only ones who change at only the full moon are their children, and then after she asked him if he would change into a wolf for her. He did and the wolf was huge. His head was up to her shoulders, then he did a dog thing and licked her, she couldn’t help but laughed.)

     She learned that vampires and Were's have been associated with each other since the time they lived in space; in the same galaxy, and that when there was a black hole sucking up things in their galaxy they were able to leave
and get the Were's to leave as well. Then she learned that the only vamps they were taken were young strong ones or ones who were pregnant with children and of course their mates, and they took some food. Because of how long their trip was that they had just run out of food when they found earth, but after they landed, they had tried different forms of food some of the food had killed them and some helped, but they lost vamps to the types of blood that was like poison to them (a lot of those animals went extinct).

She learned that the only vamps they took were young strong ones or ones who were pregnant with children and of course their mates and they took some food. Because of how long their trip was that they had just run out of food when they found earth, but after they landed, they had tried different forms of food some of the food had killed them and some helped but they lost vamps to the types of blood that was like poison to them (a lot of those animals went extinct).

   
 
Angyl also learned that if a vamp bit her without giving her blood first or right after, that she would turn into a mindless zombie,
always hungry and because of this they cannot go into the sun
.
She had decided to go to Ace and demand him to change her. Unfortunately Ace had been busy because of her seeing her ex-husband in the tree, on the grounds 2 weeks ago. But she would make sure they would talk about this soon.

     David was pissed. Angyl never left that man’s compound and he couldn’t get on it as easily as before. He still could, but shortly after he would go on the compound the Were's that the stupid man brought in would go berserk and he would have to leave. He couldn't believe his wife had accepted being with freaking nasty flea ridden beast like werewolves, how could she be fucking a werewolf, they were so beneath her. To make matters worse she had one change for her. Up until that point he didn't even know werewolves had existed, and now to realize that his wife was shacked up with one, which pissed him off to no end. It was bad enough for her to be fucking another guy, but for her to be fucking a beast, well that was just unacceptable to him. So now he would have to figure out how to side track them all to get to his wife, which he decided she would be punished for all of this hassle as well. She was going to be his and no one else’s or he was going to make her life a living hell. No, he wasn’t going to kill her; he would however make her wish she was dead. He was also thinking of luring her lover to him and killing him in front of her or fuck his wife in front of him before killing him, even if he had to rape her. Now he was going over plans, he knew that on the compound were werewolves, but he needed to figure out what he needed to side track them. This meant he needed to talk to his father, so that was the next plan. Once he figured all that out he was going to come back and get her if it was the last thing he ever did.

Chapter 12

     Ace was now getting ready for a meeting with Axel to find out what he needed to kill a demon. He didn’t want Angyl to know just yet, because he was hoping he would have everything ready first. Axel was due here any minute and he was scared that these half lings wouldn’t be able to be killed, if that was the case how could he protect the woman he loves. Ace really wanted her to be his mate, he already told the council he picked a mate, but he only had 3 weeks to be mated, and that also meant she had to turn into one of them. This made him worried, but he loved her enough to let her pick when they were to get mated. It was then that the knock came on his door and he told them to come in.

     “Greetings Space.” Axel said using Ace's full first name.

     “Please don’t call me Space. You know I go by Ace, I have no idea why my parents named me Space Vampiro Evergreen.”

     “Well, try being named Baxel Tycoon Turner. But I go by Axel because it sounds better and Tycoon was after, I guess, the first werewolf in our family that had arrived on this planet from our old planet. Not that it really matters seeing as how none of us knows anything about that planet, we never got to see it, we have always lived here.” Axel said.

     “Yeah I know what you mean. We better get onto business. Have you found anything on how to kill the Halfling’s?” Ace asked.

     “Yes. You will need to get some angels breath and smash it ‘til you get it into a wet mess, then you will need to add a dash of holy water, stir them together, let it sit for about an hour, then dip a silver bullet into the mixture, and finally let it dry. Once it's dry and you load it into a gun you will need to shoot the demon in the heart. Since he has chosen evil, he will go up in flames and there will be nothing left of him.”

     “Alright, can you get me what is needed to make this bullet?”

     “I can do better; we have already made the bullets for you. We made you more than one, on the off chance that the circumstances makes it to where you miss.”

     “Thank you my friend, I owe you a lot.”

     “You’re soon to be mate is a nice woman, we did this for her, and you do not owe us a favor for the bullets.”

     “Thank you, but why?” Ace asked stunned.

     “Because she has accepted us as who we are, as you know that is a very rare gift for a human to do, and it's even rarer that they are not scared. We are doing this for her because she deserves happiness. She has a truly kind heart and for her kindness it is the least we can do.” Axel said thinking of how she was earlier, staring at him when he changed, not with fear but with wonder and amazement.

     “Thank you, my friend, and yes she is an amazing woman.” Ace said smiling while thinking about her.

     “On a different note, you do know you have only 3 weeks to change her into one of you and then mate with her right?”

     “Yes I know, but I want it to be her choice.”

     “I understand, but if you do not have her changed and mated to you within 3 weeks the council will pick a mate for you. Rumor has it that they are down to Jasmine and Roxanna, the 2 who do not know how to take no for an answer.”

    
“Yes I know.” Ace sighed out of frustration. He did not want anything to do with those 2 women.

     “You know, that the council gave you shorter time because it's a human woman that you’re interested in and that is why you only have the 3 weeks. Most humans do not accept who we are so they figure that in 3 weeks she will have left you and they can get in one of their daughters. Seeing as how all the other council members have only sons or their daughters are too young, those were the 2 that were old enough.”

     “I know that as well. I was hoping to have longer for her to get to know me, but no matter what she chooses I will love her, which is why I’m letting her chose for herself.”

     “I understand, but if she doesn’t choose you, and you reject who they pick, you will no longer be the king of vampires, they will see you as not fit.”

     “I know, my friend.”

      “You also know that we are only on your side in the treaty, we will not sign with any other vampire but you.”

     “Yes I do know and I value your loyalty my friend.”

     “I have heard that Damien wants the possession of King and has already gone to try to get your people against you.”

     “I know that as well and if I do get to keep my possession of king I know due to our rules that I will have to kill him as well as any who might have sided with him to keep the peace. I am not happy with the idea of it, but I will do what I have to.”

     “I know you will, but you know why you would have to. It is because of the past where they were allowed to live and then one had started a war against the king, at that time, thankfully that one died, but they made it a point that whenever a king gets his mate and gets mated to his mate, that whoever tried to take his position as king would have to be killed so that peace could remain.”

     “Yes I understand, but I also refuse to push her into mating with me when she's not ready. I will deal with whatever comes my way for her.”

     “That is a good answer my friend and one that shows that you do in fact love her. For as long as I’m the leader of the werewolves I will always stand beside you.”

     “Thank you.”

     “Well watch yourself and be safe, because I fear Damien will not want to wait ‘til you fail. I feel he will want to strike sooner, so I have decided to keep some of my wolves here to help protect you, as well as, Angyl, and no you will not owe me for this favor either as I am doing it to help a good king keep his seat ‘til he gets mated. If you die early it will cause chaos among not just the vamps, but the werewolves as well.”

     “I understand, and to be safe, if I have to leave the compound I will take one vamp and one Were with me.”

     “That is all I ask. I have also instructed them that they are to treat you and your mate like they would for my mate and I, which means they will go off the compound with you or they will help the vamps patrol they will also give their lives for you and yours.”

     “Does that include her son?”

      “Yes it does, we do not believe in leaving young ones unprotected.”

     “I appreciate this. I will never be able to pay you back with all this, but thank you.”

     “I must leave now, but here are the bullets.”

     “Oh and regardless of what you say I owe you a great debt, I will pay you back so when you need help just call on me any time and I will be there for you. I will drop everything to come help you.”

     Axel just smiled and said “I know and thank you.”

     “I hope you have a wonderful night running in the moon my friend, I am going to find Angyl and tell her what’s going on. I have a question?”

     “What is it?”

     “Why can you lead without a mate? I have been wanting to ask that since you became the leader of the Were's, but never got around to it.”

      “It is because our station is by birth; the only way I can be over thrown is by fighting another male in wolf form and the other wolf winning.”

      “I do not see that happening, for you are bigger and stronger than all of them. You have been bigger than all of them since we were kids.”

     “Well there was one who tried, but I had to kill him as it is our law.”

     “I would love to read about all your different laws. Once I am mated I will make changes until then the council is here to help keep order. It would be kinda hard for me to mate myself to Angyl.”
