Alison was confused for a moment. She wanted
to get away from him, not follow him, but he was outside and she
was inside.

"Oh my God." She hissed. "Men,
goddammit."

She went to pull the door open but the
desperate voice of Alex behind her made her stop.

"Alison, don’t go. You have to let me out of
these cuffs, for God’s sake, please."

She stopped.

"Why should I let you go? How do I know this
isn’t just another part of your sick little game?"

"He tricked me too. For God’s sake, you have
to believe me. He’s been acting crazy this last year ever since…"
He trailed off.

"Ever since what?"

"Nothing, come on, please. I’m as upset by
this as you are. Plus I’m tied to a goddamn chair. If you get me
out, I promise I’ll explain to you as much as I can."

She considered it. Alex was obviously
helpless where he was. He had looked absolutely shocked and
terrified when she had removed his blindfold.

"Come on Alison, if Sebastian or I had any
intention of hurting you then why would I be handcuffed and
ankle-bound to this damn chair?"

"I’ll call the front desk. They’ll let you
out."

"God, no. Please, Alison, do you know who I
am? My name is Alex Drummond, Junior. If this gets into the press
it’ll be a huge scandal for our family."

"Your family?"

"I’m pretty prominent in…certain circles."
Despite everything, Alex still didn’t want to blow Sebastian’s
cover. He still wanted to believe that his crazy little brother’s
heart was in the right place. "If this gets into the press and gets
exaggerated and twisted, it’ll really hurt my business, not to
mention our parents. We have a little brother as well and he
doesn’t deserve this. Please Alison, just take the key from the
floor over there and let me go. It won’t cost you anything but if
you don’t, it will cost me and my family a lot."

"God damn it!" Alison hissed. "That
asshole." The feeling of being manipulated was galling. Add to that
the disappointment. She walked over to the set of keys on the floor
and picked them up. Alex breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank you Alison, I really appreciate
this."

She looked back to him, still weighing up
the possibilities in her mind.

"How did Sebastian ever get you into this
anyway? He must have paid you a lot of money."

"Sebastian? Who’s Sebastian?"

"Sebastian. My brother, Sebastian
Drummond."

"I don’t know any Sebastian, only that
asshole Daniel."

Damn it.
Alex thought.
That’s not
going to make things any easier.

"My brother’s name is Sebastian."

"Goddammit." She cursed. "That lying
bastard." She threw the keys across the room in anger.

"I’m sorry Alison, I... he needed to put
some things behind him, that’s why he took a new name."

Alison looked at the handcuffed man again.
His hard-on was still showing through his underwear.

"Can’t you put that damn thing away," she
said angrily, "because trust me, it's had all the fun it's going to
have with me today already."

He sighed and dropped his gaze. His damn
little brother and the situations he got him into. The truth was
that the illicit, duplicitous, kinky experience he had just had
with this sexy stranger, the woman his brother claimed to love, had
been a totally mind blowing experience. It was one that he would
have to replicate with Melanie if he could ever talk her into
it.

"I’m sorry." He said in a low voice. "But I
really can't do anything about that. Not until you uncuff me
anyway."

She walked across the room and stood
directly in front of him, her long coat hanging still hanging open
revealing the soft curves between her breasts, the smooth line of
her abdomen to her navel and the sexy lingerie below.

Alex’s erection throbbed even harder.

Alison looked at him disparagingly.

"Maybe your little brother needs to be
taught a lesson." She said.

"Alison, what the hell are you doing?
Please, just get those keys and let’s end this. Now."

"
You
are no position to be
telling
me
what
to do." She said with contempt. "I think it’s time Daniel learned
to accept the consequences for his actions."

"Whatever it is you are about to do Alison,
please reconsider. I don’t know if Sebastian paid you for
this--"

"Goddamn it!" She snapped her arms down by
her sides, her coat flapping open to reveal more of her long legs
and smooth thighs. Alex was sweating and tried not to look at her.
"I am not a damn call girl. Can’t you get that into your head? Your
asshole little brother tricked me."

Alex said nothing. He didn’t move. She was
right; he was in no position to demand anything.

Please don’t tell me my
little brother is in love with a psycho.
He thought.

"Now if you want these cuffs off without a
press release, then you’d better watch your mouth."

"Are you threatening me?" He said.

"Why? Are
you
threatening
me
?"

"Not threatening, no. But look, if it’s
money that you want then--"

"Fuck you." She said. "The keys are over
there."

"Damn it." He cursed. "You can’t leave me
like this."

"Yes I can, and I’m going to." She pulled
her long coat over and fastened the belt.

"Please no, Alison. He’s doing all this
because he wants to make sure you’re the one. He loves you for
God’s sake."

She hated herself for stopping, but somehow
she just couldn’t go. She had to see this through to the end, find
out what all this craziness was about.

"Sebastian and I hadn’t spoken in nearly a
whole year and then suddenly, two nights ago he calls me up out of
the blue and asks me to do him a favor."

Alison didn’t turn around but she stayed
where she was.

"What was the favor?" She said.

"He said he had a met a girl, unlike any he
had ever met before in his whole life. A woman with a heart of gold
who appreciated him for who he really is."

"Stop it." She said. "I don’t want to hear
this."

"He told me he needed my help. He needed to
prove to himself that she was the one for him."

"Stop. Please."

"He was talking crazy, saying he wanted me
to try and sleep with her, so of course I said no."

"But you agreed to what we just did? Do you
think that’s any better?"

"No! God no. He tricked me to. I agreed that
I would meet this girl, I mean, that I would meet with you and make
a pass at you, and if you took me up on it then I wouldn’t have to
do anything, but of course it would mean you hadn’t passed the
test. If you turned me down then--"

Alison swung around to face Alex again.

"So how the hell does that get both of us
here? The way we were, doing the things we were doing."

"Please Alison, for God’s sake, just let me
go will you? I’m sitting here like an idiot trying to explain this
whole mess to you with this thing sticking up like a damn maypole
in front of me." He nodded down to his persistent erection.

She looked down at it again and rolled her
eyes. Then she smiled.

"Was it that good?" She said.

"Thank God." Alex sounded relieved. "You’ve
got a sense of humor. Yes, it was pretty damn good if you must
know. My dumbass brother tricked me into thinking he had flown my
fiancé into town to blow my mind in the honeymoon suite while I was
blindfolded and handcuffed to a chair."

"And gagged." She grinned.

"The bondage stuff I wasn’t expecting. They
got me a little drunk and they…”

"They?"

"Yeah
they.
Sebastian and a half a dozen
call girls he hired to drink with us all morning."

"Call girls?" Alison’s mind was reeling. It
was all so totally out of character and financially out of reach
for the kind, intense young man she knew from the Tête-á-Tête.

"I know it doesn’t sound good Alison but
believe me, nothing happened. It was just a little bachelor party
thing from Sebastian to me. I’m getting married a week from
now."

Alison was frozen to the spot.

"Uh, Alison? If you
wouldn't mind, I’m
still
handcuffed to a chair over here."

"Oh yeah, of course. I’m sorry."

She set about freeing the powerful and
incredibly good-looking man. Her head was still in a daze. If she
were honest with herself, she had to admit that she had just had a
sexual experience so intense with this man that it made all the sex
she had had in the past pale by comparison. They hadn’t actually
done it. He was still sitting there with a quivering erection that
seemed to be asking for more.

A crazy thought crossed her mind... he still
had the cuffs on.

God... what the hell is wrong with me?

She had never felt so confused before in her
whole life.

The cuffs clicked open and Alex set to
untying his ankles. Alison sat down on the floor and watched the
crazy romantic and erotic fantasies of the day fade into complex,
messy, disappointing reality.

"Exactly what the hell am I supposed to do
now?" She said.

Alex pulled up his pants and adjusted
himself to accommodate his erection. He smoothed out his thick dark
hair and transformed from helpless sex slave to powerful corporate
god. The absolute contrast left Alison breathless and anxious. All
the self-confidence that had come from being with Daniel was
utterly gone and now she felt like a stupid, helpless little
girl.

The powerful man turned towards her. She
looked down to the ground, instinctively hiding her gaze. She was
still wearing nothing but a coat and her sexy lingerie while this
man she hardly knew was fully clothed in his hand-tailored
executive suit.

She watched his Italian leather clad feet
come closer and then he hunkered down to her level. His strong hand
lifted her jaw so gently, so kindly that she instantly felt cared
for, loved protected. It felt just like Daniel’s or Sebastian’s --
whatever his name really was.

She began to choke up.

God damn it.
She thought.
Why am I so
damn fragile? Why am I so easy to fool?

"Alison." Alex said in his beautiful
baritone. She raised her eyes to his. "You don't know my brother
like I do--"

"He was so kind--"

"I know." He interrupted her, his deep-set
brown eyes mesmerizing her. They were so identical to his
brother's. "He can be kind. Very kind. You don't even know how
kind. But sometimes he’s like a big stupid kid. He means well but
he doesn’t think things through."

Alex felt for her. He could see exactly what
his brother was talking about. She had the same crazy quality as
Melanie that made him weak at the knees. No wonder she had been
able to blow his mind when he was tied to the chair.

Now to see her like this, broken down, so
confused and fragile, it was heartbreaking to him. His emotions and
his hormones raged at the same time. The resemblance to Melanie was
there, not in looks but in her eyes, her manner, her transformation
from good little girl to sexual predator and then back again.

"You just blew my mind, whether you meant to
or not." He said.

"He tricked me--"

"I don't doubt it, Alison. Not for one
second. It's an old score between us. At least I think that’s how
Sebastian saw it, but it's settled now and forever. For better or
worse, I will never forget what you did to me here today. I won't
forget it if I live to be a thousand."

She smiled involuntarily. "I was only aiming
for a hundred." She said. The two of them laughed together,
releasing the tension of the moment.

"Well, you sure as hell did that. I've never
experienced anything like it." He watched in amazement as the
demure girl in front of him blushed tomato red. "Are you kidding
me?" He said, looking into her face as she tried to hide it. "Is
this the same girl who rocked my world not a half hour ago?"

The two of them laughed again. Alex took his
coat off and put it around her. Whoever she had been, when she
walked in and found him blindfolded, gagged, and cuffed to a chair
was gone. Now there was just a shy, cute, beautiful girl trying to
figure out what the hell had just happened to her.

He was embarrassed to be still nursing a
throbbing erection for her.

"Alison, I'm about to get married to a girl
I adored since the day I met her. She can't ever know anything
about this. Can I please ask you to keep this a secret between the
three of us?"

She nodded her head. "Of course you can. I
mean, of course I will. After all, we were both tricked. It's not
our fault this happened."

"That's right. But Alison, just so we
understand each other, this has to be a secret forever -- and I
mean forever. Until the day you die; you can't tell a soul and we
must never speak of it again, not even to each other. Okay?"

Her heart was in turmoil. She looked at Alex
and felt the same love she felt for his brother Sebastian. How
could she not? He was identical to him in looks in every way, down
to the last detail, but he was the good one, the honest one.
Sebastian? She didn’t know what she felt for him anymore.

"Please, Alison. I need you to say the
words. Please."

How could she never talk about this again?
To anyone. It would be as if it had never even happened. The most
amazing, soul-searing sexual experience of her life. She didn’t
want it to be a dirty secret she could never reveal.

But that was what he wanted.

This gorgeous man that she was falling for
right there on her butt on the carpet, in her sexy underwear and in
his jacket. The person she had shared the moment with wanted it to
have never even happened...
