It’s the first day of a week of well-deserved fun for Monica Yale, yet as she stepped from the plane and glanced around at the herds of college students piling in for Spring Break her stomach churned.
There’s so many people here
. She swallowed hard and followed Carrie and Elsa, her two best friends, towards an awaiting taxi at the terminal gates. As they piled their luggage into the back of the taxi and climbed into the backseat, sticky from the humidity, Elsa gave her a warm smile.
“Relax,” She giggled, “It’s time to shake off the good girl attitude for a week and have some fun.”
“Yeah I know,” Monica sighed, “But you know I don’t do well with a lot of people.”
“Always the shy and sweet little Monica,” Carried teased and rolled her eyes, “Seriously I don’t know how you do it. You act so innocence and the boys are just drawn to it.”
Monica watched as Carrie flicked her long blonde hair behind her shoulder, the locks shimmering in the Florida sun. All three woman were incredibly beautiful in their own right, but Carrie was more of a Barbie doll type woman while Monica thought of herself as the shy girl next door. She envied the way Carrie and Elsa could walk up to any man, flash their smile and have the world handed to them. Sure she had many a boyfriend in her life, but her shyness, especially in bed, usually sent them running after only a matter of weeks. She sighed and looked out at the palm trees blurring as the cab flew by. The streets were already crowded with college vacationers as they filled the sidewalks and parking lots of Panama City.
“My shyness isn’t an act Carrie,” Monica glared at her from across the seat, “I really don’t like crowds.”
Once in their room Monica peered out the bay window with a smile. The hotel was only minutes from the airport and yet it had a breathtaking view of the Panama Beach, and the ocean as it stretched out to the horizon. But there was little time for reflection as Carrie and Elsa pulled her back downstairs towards the streets and wild life amongst them. The crowds bumped and pushed their way along, and Monica growled.
I swear if one more person bumps me
. She gave a sigh and followed along to their first destination of the trip. She could feel her cheeks growing crimson, not accustomed to walking around a neighborhood in a bikini top and short cut-off jeans. Men eyed the three woman as they wandered past, staring hungrily as if they were all pieces of meat. Some whistled and others let out loud booming cat calls but Monica kept walking alongside the girls. Turning the corner, Sharky’s Beach Club came into view and Carrie giggled in delight. The premier spot for daytime fun, her favorite D.J was rumored to be playing, so the three girls trotted inside to cool and dark open floor.
“Oh there he is.” Carrie exclaimed as the beat from the speakers vibrated through Monica’s ears, “I can’t believe it. I have to get closer.”
Monica reluctantly followed as the three girls pushed and nudged their way towards the stage at the back of the large room. Near the front Carrie stopped, shouting and waving her hands as the D.J played his best tunes for the spring crowd. Monica ordered a drink from the roaming waitress and was soon sipping on a Blue Maui, a fruity drink that tasted like sweet berries. She began to sway to the beat, closing her eyes and letting the sounds echoing through her. He’s actually pretty good. She laughed to herself having teased Carrie on a regular basis about her taste in music. Despite what appeared to be a meek personality, Monica actually preferred Rock and Roll.
“Hey there gorgeous.” A deep voice called out to her from over the speakers.
Monica turned to find a muscular man standing beside her. He flashed a pearly white smile that reflected in his sea green eyes. He was tanned, wearing no shirt and showing off his chiseled chest for all to see. She gave a polite smile but inside her stomach twisted in knots once again. She knew she was pretty, with long flowing brown hair and hazel eyes and her curvy body was complimented in nearly anything she wore. But something about men made her nervous, almost fearful, and the moment one spoke to her she would curl up inside and become a mousy young girl. Behind him stood his two friends, equally as built and standing half naked in the Club. Carrie looked back, eyeing one of them in particular and to Monica’s relief jumped in to the rescue.
“Hi, there.” She batted her long eyelashes, “I’m Carrie and this is Elsa. You have already met Monica I see.”
“Yeah she’s not much of a talker,” The man laughed, “Where are you from?”
“Princeton.” Carrie giggled, “You?”
“Right here in sunny Panama.” He beamed with pride, “Listen a few of us are having a little bonfire later, would the three of you like to come?’
“Sure.” Carrie purposely tossed her long hair behind her shoulder and gave one of the men a smile. It was her way of signaling her interest.
After some more introductions and directions, the men left, allowing Monica a moment to breathe once again. She glared at Carrie who shrugged and continued to dance, sipping on a fruity umbrella drink. The D.J played on until dusk and as he finished his last song the three headed back out into the Florida heat towards the beach area.
“You’re not seriously going to go are you?” Monica marched by her side as the bonfire came into view.
“Of course I am that guy was hot,” Carrie stopped, giving Monica a stern look, “You have to lighten up we are here to have fun remember?”
The bonfire was in full swing as the three approached, greeting happily but the men from the Club. Elsa was chatting away with the dark haired man while Carrie made her move towards the tall blonde she had targeted earlier, leaving Monica with the other. She glanced at him shyly from below her long wavy locks and attempted a nervous smile.
“Here have a seat,” The man pointed to a piece of driftwood by the fire, “I’m Matt. You want a beer?”
“Oh no thanks I had a few at the club.” Monica’s heart was in her throat.
“Oh come on,” He flashed a suspicious smile, “One more won’t hurt your on vacation.”
He returned and Monica reluctantly took the cold beer from his hands, not wanting to seem rude. She sipped the fowl taste and gave a shudder while Matt laughed.
“You’re kind of shy huh,” He sighed and glanced over at Carrie who was flirting away with her new man. “Not like your friend over there.”
“Yeah Carries always been the outgoing one, ever since high school.” Monica shrugged. “Guess I just never came out of my shell.”
“Well,” Matt leaned over and removed the beer, placing it in the sand beside him, “Maybe you just need a little help.”
Monica eyed him suspiciously, glancing over at Carrie now full swing in a make out session with her tall blonde. Matt grasped her by the waist and Monica let out a gasp of surprise. He kissed her deeply, the taste of his salty lips and beer filling her as he pressed his tongue into her mouth. She pushed away and scowled at him as he stared in surprise.
“What I was only trying to help.” He smiled and leaned in for another attempt.
Monica pushed him away once again, dodging his lips as she was prepared for the second assault. Carrie looked up from her heated moment with her new man and frowned. She excused herself and headed towards the two as they argued. With a gentle tug she lifted her to her feet and dragged her out of earshot.
“What are you Monica he likes you, or didn’t you catch that?” Carrie snapped in a whisper. “You promised to lighten up on this trip. Please don’t spoil this for me I’m really into this guy.”
“Fine,” Monica sighed, “But only because we have been friends forever. But if he puts his hands on me once I am out of here.”
Carrie gave a nod and a smile and the two headed back to join the group, with Monica finding herself sitting awkwardly beside Matt once again. He eyed her hungrily, chugging his fifth beer and let out a long belched that was applauded by his group.
“Look I’m sorry,” He smiled wickedly, “I invited you because I’m into you, you know? Look at your friends. I bet they are having a good time. I was just trying to lighten you up is all?”
“I know,” She sighed, “I’m just nervous around guys. And I don’t move as fast as they do either.”
“Well,” Matt leaned forward, so close she could smell the beers on his breath, “We’ll take it slowly then. I like slow too.”
He kissed her again and Monica flew into a rage, knowing this drunken local was only out to get in her pants.
Take advantage of the little college girl on Spring Break
. She growled to herself as she pushed him away for the third and final time. Men like Matt were the reason she avoided parties like this and why she was leery about new relationships as well. He looked at her puzzled, then frowned and stood, walking away to find another girl more willing to give him what he wanted.
Monica rose without another word and stormed off down the beach away from the group. She glanced behind her at the fire off in the distance, relieved to find no one following. She continued to walk, the waves crashing on the shore beside her and dotting her skin with salt water. Her mind wandered off to home and her senior year as it fast approached. Soon she looked around to find herself alone in the darkness of the beach, the hotel nowhere in sight. She frowned and continued forward, unsure of where she was or how to get back to her friends when the time came. A light in the distance indicated another bonfire up ahead and she jogged faster, hoping someone could point her in the right direction but as she neared she paused. A small group of bikers were huddled around the fire, dressed in matching leather jackets, their bikes a few feet away parked in the sand. She swallowed hard, fearful of such a dangerous looking group but desperate to find her way back. With no one else around she had no choice but to ask for directions.
“Excuse me.” The group fell silent as she approached from the dark. “I’m a bit lost. Can anyone give me directions back to the hotel I’m staying at?”
“Piss off college girl,” One of the woman snapped, “Find your own way back to your little drunk fest.”
“Well that was rude.” Monica felt her cheeks flush in panic and anger.
“Yeah?” A male of the group stood up and stepped towards her, “Well we don’t like your kind. You got a problem with that?”
“Whoa hang on a second,” Another voice called out from the other side of the fire, “I know her.”
From around the roaring flames stepped Alex, her new step-brother. His muscular body glimmered in the moonlight as his broad shoulders and thick forearms jutted out from a tight black tank top. His loose jeans, tore at both knees seemed to fill with the solid thighs and tightly shaped butt underneath. He jogged towards her, his baby blue eyes gazing down sympathetically from beneath his long black hair. Although she an Alex had gotten into a terrible fight on their first meeting over Christmas, she was relieved to see him in her moment of crisis. He gave her a strange look and smiled.
“You know this chick?” One of the bikers laughed, “Not usually your type Alex.”
The group roared in laughter.
“She’s my step-sister man,” He turned and snapped back, then glanced down at the panicked Monica, “come on I’ll take you back to your friends.”
The walk was silent and awkward at first, as the two hadn’t gotten along during their introduction. Alex was a bad boy biker to the core, taking advantage of his good looks and tough attitude and using it to get whatever female he wanted. That was one of the reasons he had moved to Panama Beach in the first place. He was no different from the man at the bonfire, or any of the other ones she would come across over her week of torture. When her father remarried to his mother, he warned Monica to steer clear of him. The two trudged along the beach, Alex’s riding books kicking up sand as he walked. Finally, he cleared his throat and gave her an awkward smile.
“So what are you doing down here?” He glanced at a group of drunken college kids as they ran past.
“I’m on spring break with my friends,” She snapped and folded her arms, “I am assuming that rude group were yours?”
Alex gave a long laugh. He couldn’t help but find himself drawn to her, like a moth to a flame. Her beauty and the way she made an attempt to hold her ground despite her shyness. Her body made him want to reach out and pull her into his arms, tasting her sweetness and feeling the soft skin but he resisted, knowing after the things he had said during the holiday she would most likely kick him for the move. Why is she so irresistible? He growled and continued to lean her along until they reached the street ahead.
“They aren’t as a bad as they seem.” He made an attempt to apologize for his friends, “They just don’t like the yearly invasion we get of college punks just looking for a good time. They destroy the beaches. You should see the mess the week after everyone leaves.”
Monica gave him a puzzled look, “I didn’t think you would care about things like that.”
“Of course I care,” Alex looked hurt and stopped on the sidewalk a moment, “I might not be an ecologist like you, but taking care of the only planet we have seems kind of important don’t you think?”
For a moment she felt guilty, having labeled him from the start because of his biker lifestyle. She gave a nervous smile, finding herself eyeing his gorgeous body from behind as they continued to walk towards the sounds of bass thumping and giggling young girls in the distance. She gave a sigh.
“So you care about the environment,” She gave another smile as he turned, “That’s a good thing.”
“Yeah,” He rubbed the back of his neck and Monica could feel the heat rise in her body, wanting it to be her hands on his skin, “My friends and I we do some rides each year to raise money for the clean up the beach efforts.”
The two pushed along silently through the crowds of partying groups, now dancing in the streets. Monica frowned, watching the way they behaved after hearing Alex’s story, and noticed those tossing empty cups and other garbage onto the ground.
We actually have something in common
. She thought to herself as the butterflies fluttered in her stomach. She began to wonder how much of what her father had said was actually true and if perhaps there was more to this bad boy than he was letting on. His gorgeous body was driving her wild, wanting for the first time to have a man take her in his arms and pleasure her. With flushed cheeks, crimson red and hot with desire, she eyed him once again. Finally they reached the hotel and he stopped, turning to her with an almost devious smile.
“Hey listen,” He looked nervous, “Why don’t we bury the hatchet? Let me take you on a ride tomorrow and show you around.”
“I don’t know,” She looked up at the hotel, “I’m kind of here with my friends you know? Besides, I believe you called me a stuck up prissy was it? Why would you want to hang around me all day?”
“Well in all fairness you called me a dirty biker first.” He laughed playfully, “Look I’m sorry about that, I was going through a breakup at the time and wasn’t in the best of moods. Forgiven?”
He held out his hand for a shake and Monica laughed, rolling her eyes playfully. The moment she felt his warm skin on her palm her body shook with desire, feeling a white hot jolt of need rush through her skin and down between her legs. She wanted him like none before him and it was going to take all her willpower not to give in to his charms. She knew, after all, that he used those charms to bed any woman foolish enough to fall for it. Alex waited patiently for a reply, eyeing her luscious breasts held just barely below the scraps of material that formed her bikini top. His body was on fire with lust for her.
“I suppose it would be nice to get away from this,” Monica reluctantly agreed as another drunken college boy ran past her shouting, “Pick me up at like ten?”
Alex didn’t let go of her hand for a moment, holding it in midair with a smile. He yanked her closer and she could smell his cologne, mixed with an intoxicating scent of his body. Her heart beat wildly, feeling her body cry out for a kiss. He lingered there and gave her a smile.
“You didn’t say I was forgiven.” He whispered.
Monica knew he wanted her, the desire so thick between them that she could feel it in the small amount of space between their bodies. She tried to resist, pretending not to see the desire clear in his beautiful eyes. Smiling politely she nodded.
“Yes your forgiven,” She could hardly breathe, “Now I have to check in with my friends. I will see you tomorrow then?”
Alex frowned slightly at her subtle rejection, but smiled a wide grin knowing that she would be a challenge. He would bring his best game the following day and by sunset this beautiful and cocky girl would be in his arms for sure. They parted ways, Alex heading back to his friends at the bonfire and Monica upstairs to see if Carrie and Elsa had made it back safely. But the desire remained with them both, and Monica knew she would have to keep her guard up. His offer to tour her around may have seemed like a nice gesture but she knew deep down what he wanted. She wanted it too, but she had to resist him. The room was empty as she stepped inside.
They are most likely going to be out all night
. She sighed and flopped down on her twin sized bed. She gazed out at the moon, shimmering over the waters below and gave a long sigh.
