So good.
Better than.
The bed was right there, just out of reach, waiting for him. Lucky pushed him away. Elias’s chest heaved as he watched Lucky. Hunger, that look in his eyes.
“I didn’t want this, Lucky.” The man was still fucking talking. On his knees. After crawling for Lucky. Still talking. “Didn’t mean for this to happen.”
“Liar.” Lucky whipped the word at him. “Don’t give me that bullshit.” He stepped out of his briefs then tore away his shirt. “I think you’ve waited long enough to fuck me, don’t you?”
Elias licked his lips.
“Get undressed.”
The older man got to his feet, the front of his jeans tented, and yanked off the t-shirt before pushing his jeans off his hips then kicking it away. He was built, Lucky already knew that. The full tattoo sleeves, traditional black and gray roses, he was familiar with, but he hadn’t known about the scars on Elias’s left hip and torso. His flat nipples were a dusky red and hard. His abs weren’t overly defined, but Lucky didn’t care about a fucking six-pack. Elias’s broad chest was covered in dark hair that trailed down to his groin. That cock…
Lucky swallowed, his own shaft jerking at the sight of Elias, not as long as Lucky, but thick and angry red, the crown soaked with pre-cum.
Damn.
Lucky stroked himself and walked over to the bed, talking all the way. “I’m no virgin, but you will be the first in a long, long time to get up in this ass.”
Elias’s nostril flared.
Lucky smirked. “You’re so fucking jealous right now, you don’t know what to do.” He worked himself, wrist snapping, hips, canting, thumb swiping through the liquid at his crown. “Don’t worry, you might also be the first one to make me beg for it.”
Elias grabbed him by the hair and tossed him onto the bed. He bounced, once, because Elias was already crawling atop his body, muscled thighs pressing him down, skin hot and smelling of sex.
“You don’t want this,
mijn schat
.” But he was rubbing his bearded jaw against Lucky’s cheek, making his eyes roll back.
“Yes.” Lucky wrapped his legs around Elias’s waist, humping him. “You don’t know how much.” He had no idea.
“Then tell me.” Elias licked his neck, nipped then kept going, biting his way down Lucky’s chest, fingers traveling down his body to touch his balls, grab them. “You want me to dip inside that tight hole and fuck you?” He touched Lucky’s entrance, just a fucking touch, but… Jesus.
“Ugh.” Lucky writhed. “Yes.” He sank his fingers into Elias’s hair, holding his mouth to his nipple as Elias licked then caught the hard nub between his teeth. “Mother of— Fuck!”
“What else?” Elias asked before sliding his tongue over and around Lucky’s navel. “What should I do to you, Lucky?”
What should he do? Everything. Anything. “Give me. Your cock, your fingers, your tongue.” He panted, hips lifting off the bed. Head thrown back, he closed his eyes. “Eat me, suck me, lick me. Just get in me and never fucking leave.” Teeth sank into his left hip, grazed him, made him gasp.
Oh God. He couldn’t catch his breath. But he could hear his blood, hear it rushing, racing, wanting.
Elias moved, his body sliding up Lucky’s, until they were aligned head to toe, cocks fucking throbbing between them, wet and slick and…
“Unngh.” Fingers twisted in Lucky’s hair, pulled hard enough to make him wince. But, yeah. He liked it, enough to open his eyes. To stare into that fierce fire raging in Elias’s gaze.
“Whatever you want.” Elias moved, a little up and down thing that had his cock rocking and rolling over Lucky’s. All that sticky shit, gluing them together. “Take it.” Hoarse and rough, that command seemed to reverberate. “Take whatever the fuck you want. It’s all yours.”
So Lucky took his lips, hooked his ankles above his ass, and fucked himself on him. Quick and sharp, and Elias let him eat his mouth, let Lucky use him. Just for a bit. Until Elias pulled away and crawled down his body.
He bent and Lucky opened for him, let him look his fill, let him see everything. Let him touch. Hands fisted in the sheets, he sank his teeth in his bottom lip and didn’t let up as Elias bent and swallowed him, taking him to the back of his throat.
Lucky arched off the bed, trying to get as far down that fucking throat as he could. Elias used his hand as well, stroking his length up and down as he sucked.
“God.” Lucky choked. “Yeah. Yeah.” He snapped his hips, throwing them at Elias, sinking deeper down his throat. “Suck me.” Jesus. This was a blowjob. This was a man who knew his way around a suck. “Yes.” Lucky panted and lifted his shoulders, looking down at Elias between his knees, his head moving up and down, red hair spread out on his shoulders. “Fuck. That’s it. That’s it.” He cried out when Elias cupped his balls and tugged. His throat did something, sorta closed up around Lucky’s cock head, and he yelled out.
Elias moaned and eased up then took him deep again.
Hot and wet. So fucking… “God yes, get me wet,” Lucky moaned. He released the sheet and cupped the back of Elias’s head. “The wetter the better. Soak me.”
A slick finger tapped at his hole, dipped inside. He bent his knees, lifted his hipS, offered up that ass. That digit pushed in and in. Torture. Motherfucking torture, but God, it was the best. The best.
“More. Give me more.”
Elias added another finger while sucking away on his cock.
Somehow Lucky had known their sex would be like this. Must’ve been why he’d ached for it, why he’d dreamt of it.
Elias fucked him deep with two fingers. He didn’t know where the lube came from, but he was grateful for it. Not too grateful to let Elias continue with those two fingers when he could be balls deep in Lucky.
“Inside me,” he gasped out the words when Elias brushed his prostate. “Get inside me. Want that cock, want to feel you pound me.”
Elias removed the fingers with a chuckle. “You got a filthy fucking mouth, Lucky.” He got on his knees between Lucky’s thighs and lubed up before bringing his cock to Lucky’s hole.
“Kiss me,” Lucky breathed as Elias pressed into him. “Kiss my filthy fucking mouth while I ride that dick.”
Elias plunged into him.
Lucky shouted as fire tore through him, but Elias kissed him, tongue shoved in, stifling that cry. It gurgled in his throat as Elias pulled out,
ah fuck
, then slammed forward.
Lucky’s head rolled back, eyes too.
Elias fucked him through the pain. No finesse. No niceness. Just dick in his ass, over and over, while Lucky clung to him and grunted through it. They were trying to undo the other, claim each other, and Elias had the lead, shaft hot and throbbing, ramming into Lucky.
He scratched at Elias’s back, biting at his mouth as he fought to take it, ride it, work himself on it. He felt it, every fucking where. His scalp to his toes. That intensity. That pain. But the pleasure.
Oh, the pleasure was there too, slowly climbing higher, steadily taking over.
Elias circled his hips, his coarse pubic hair scratching at Lucky’s skin.
“I feel you take me. So hot.” Elias sank his teeth into Lucky’s bottom lip, painful. “Feel you hold me. Perfection.”
Lucky anchored himself, fingers in Elias’s hair and rode him, slamming back on him. He was right. The drugging pleasure, hotter than a July sun, lashed against his spine, and Lucky’s mouth opened on a silent moan.
Perfection.
“Give me more.” He licked Elias’s ear, bit it. “I want more of it.” He tightened around him, and Elias’s head jerked back with a hiss.
“Yess.” He drove in. Once.
Lucky tightened again.
Elias drove in.
Twice.
The third time, Elias pulled out until the head remained just inside Lucky then he rammed in.
“Fuck! Fuck!” Lucky’s teeth rattled. He clawed at Elias’s smooth back. “Yes. More.” He rolled, lifting up until only his head remained on the pillow and threw his legs up, pulling his ass cheeks apart. “Deep. Oh God.” He heard himself beg. “Please. Deep. Want it. Want you deep.”
Elias gave it to him, until his balls were at Lucky’s ass, dick so deep Lucky felt him at the top of his head. “Your body. Love it, Lucky.” He didn’t stop driving in, didn’t stop forcing himself in and in, the way Lucky wanted him. Where Lucky knew he’d always want him. “Have to own it, claim it.”
“Do it.” Lucky held his gaze. Hands on his ass again, he pulled apart his cheeks, allowed Elias every fucking access. “Take me. Fucking take and don’t stop. Never stop.”
Elias lowered himself and Lucky let go, brought his left leg down. The right he hooked around Elias’s waist, drew him closer. Elias kissed his face, eyes and nose, and finally lips, tongue dipping in to slide over his, before Elias was sucking him down, pulling on his tongue so hard Lucky moaned.
“Don’t want to leave it,” Elias broke the kiss to speak at his ear, harsh, panting. “Don’t want to end it.”
“Don’t.” Lucky squeezed him, licked his throat, bit him. “Don’t leave it. Fuck it. Mark it. Claim it.” He arched when Elias reached between them and touched him, stroked his cock. “D-don’t leave it.” He palmed Elias’s ass, fingers deep in his flesh, rising to meet his thrust.
Elias groaned, loud and painful. Inside Lucky, his shaft jerked.
Lucky sank his teeth deep in his shoulder as he trailed a finger down his crack and circled his hole. Elias’s thrusts sped up, fast, furious. Lucky met every last one, angling his body.
“God. God.” He fisted Elias’s hair. “Right there.” The blood in his ears roared. Elias licked him, tongue flat across his cheek, wet. Lucky shuddered.
Between them his cock was painful, intensely sensitive, pre-cum spilling all over his lower belly and wetting Elias who changed up his moves. He grasped Lucky’s thigh, fingers bruising, grunts getting louder. He worked Lucky, cock hitting every inch of him, making his eyes water and his breath die off. Then Elias slammed forward, hitting him dead on.
Bull’s-eye.
Lucky convulsed. “Right there, yes.” He came off the bed at the force of the thrust. “Fuck, yes. Hard. Hit me with it.”
And Elias did, nailed his prostate. Lucky’s brain shorted out, his dick exploded and his vision went blank.
Elias swallowed his cries, drinking them as he battered Lucky’s hole, over and over then he jerked once, stiffened. Lucky gasped when cum flooded him, fire, licking at his sensitive body, making him twitch and twitch some more.
Elias collapsed onto his chest, sticking to his slick skin, and reality sorta blinked in and out. Against him, Elias’s body was blazing hot. His cock still throbbed inside Lucky. His nose was pressed to Lucky’s temple, his lips brushing his jaw. His beard tickled.
Lucky didn’t mind.
“Cody.”
“Huh?” Lucky jerked his head up. Did that fucker just call him by another man’s name? “Who the fuck is Cody?”
Elias blinked at him, a hint of laughter in his drowsy gaze. “My last name. Spelled K-O-T-E. Pronounced Cody.”
“Oh.” Jesus. All these fucking years and he only learns the man’s last name after he came inside him. “What does it mean, that thing you call me?” he asked. “Mine something.”
“Mijn schat.”
Elias’s words rumbled. “It’s Dutch. Means
my treasure
.”
“Oh.” Lucky kinda lost words after that. He lifted a hand, sifted his fingers through Elias’s hair. “How many languages do you speak?”
He felt Elias’s shrug. “English, Dutch, Greek, some Africaans. And Chinese. Passable Japanese.”
Lucky fell silent. So many questions, but he was too tired right then. Too fucked out. “Thank you,” he whispered. “For coming today.”
Elias kissed his temple, breathed against it for a second before he said, “I’ll always come.”
Somehow Lucky knew that. He turned slightly and Elias slid out of him. He moaned, Elias’s hold on him tightened.
“So,” Elias murmured. “Scarlet?”
Lucky chuckled and twisted a strand of that red hair around his index finger. “Yep.”
“Huh.”
“I lied,” he said softly.
Elias stiffened. “About what?”
“Not being a virgin.” He pursed his lips. “I mean… I’ve given. Never received before. Know what I mean?”
Elias cursed at his ear. “Goddamn it, Lucky Mousasi.”
“Needed it,” he said quickly. “I needed you. Like that. Just like that.”
“Fuck.” Elias blew out a breath. “Get some rest, Lucky.”
He sounded… Lucky didn’t really know how to describe it other than resolute? Focused? He gave a mental shrug and buried his face in Elias’s chest, inhaling their sex, letting it drug him and put him to sleep.
When he woke up hours later, he was alone.
Again.
“Damn, I wanna have his babies.”
Lucky Mousasi’s lips quirked as he heard the receptionist’s throaty growl. Pia always regarded the tattoo studio like it was her own personal meat market. He didn’t look up, keeping his attention on the portfolio of the new artist he was thinking of hiring. His mentor, Joe Franks, had put Lucky in charge of his place, Cool Ink, while Joe took care of his ailing wife.
Lucky was finding himself falling for the new responsibilities. More and more he was wondering if he wasn’t more suited for behind the scenes, taking care of the business side instead of doing the actual inking. Nowadays he wasn’t doing any tattooing and he didn’t miss it much.
“Oh.” Pia sounded breathless. “Is he— He’s coming here.” She squeaked and darted away from the windows. “How do I look?”
Lucky finally looked up with a sigh. “You might want to tone down the desperation.”
She scowled at him. “Fuck that.”
Yeah, he didn’t think she would. He chuckled as the door opened with a low tinkle of the bell. A figure dressed in black stepped in and stood there. Lucky and Pia turned toward the door as one. The man was as tall as Lucky, but bulky with a short, red bushy beard and eyes the color of frost.
Their gazes met, Lucky and the newcomer’s, and a shiver went down his spine. Of fear and recognition.
“You!”
Pia jumped at his harsh shout, but the man only smiled. Damn it. Lucky hated when he smiled.
“Hello, Lucky.”
He was shaking suddenly. Lucky dropped back into the chair. Elias just stood there, that knowing look on his face, eyes so intense. Pia’s eyes went wide, mouth open as she looked from Lucky to Elias and back.
“Lucky?” she spoke into the awkwardness. Well, Lucky felt awkward, he doubted very much that Elias had the same affliction.
“Pia—”
“We need a minute. Pia?” Elias smiled at her, and Lucky watched her jaw unhinge.
Damn it. “No, we don’t. Pia stays.” He got to his feet and shuffled the stuff on the desk. “You can leave.”
“Lucky.”
Why? Why was this happening now? “You’re late,” he said softly. “Three years late.”
“I am sorry.”
Did he think that fucking accent would help sway Lucky to forgetting the humiliation of being used and abandoned? “Forgiven. You can go.”
Pia stood rooted to the spot, head swinging back and forth like a ping pong ball as Elias and Lucky spoke.
“I’m gonna…” Pia grabbed her bag from the counter.
“No!” Fuck, he didn’t want to be left alone with Elias. “Pia, stay where you are.” He moved from behind the desk and went to her, grabbed her arm, for support more than anything else.
“Yes, Pia,” Elias said in that maddeningly calm voice. “You should go.”
That made Pia hesitate. She squinted at Elias. “You’re not gonna hurt him, are you?” She placed both hands on her hips. “Because I will find you and hurt you more.” She was fiercely protective even though they didn’t know each other long or very well. Lucky wanted to smile, but he couldn’t be sure that Elias wouldn’t hurt him.
Not physically, no, he wasn’t worried about that, but the worse kinda pain was hardly ever seen. He should know.
“I would never hurt Lucky.” Elias held Lucky’s gaze as he spoke, as if talking only to him. “That’s the last thing I intend.”
But he did intend something. That was not hot anticipation in Lucky’s gut. Not.
Pia threw her purse over her shoulder and faced Lucky, hesitance in her face. “Lucky? Do you want me to stay?”
“No, he doesn’t,” Elias piped up.
Lucky bristled, but before he could tell Elias to fuck off, Pia spun to face the redhead. “Don’t speak for him. And don’t think that red hair and the panty-dropping accent will stop me from kicking your ass.” She licked her lips. “What is that accent, anyway? Irish?”
“Scottish, actually.” Elias did a little bow thing that made Lucky’s stomach flip and gave Pia a stunned expression.
“Pia.” Lucky was annoyed with her suddenly. “You can go.” It was way past closing time anyway. “I’ll be fine.”
“You sure?”
He nodded. Loath as he was to admit it, Elias was only harmful to Lucky’s heart and ego. Pia walked over and hugged him close.
“Call me if you need to talk,” she whispered in his ear before pulling away. With a small wave and one last hungry look in Elias’s direction, she left the shop with a tinkle of bells.
They were alone in the quiet. He and Elias. Lucky had waited years for this and the reality of it had him hyperventilating. He fought to breathe, to take deep breaths. And Elias watched him squirm and sweat with that knowing look in his arctic gaze.
“I’m sorry,” Elias said softly. He took a step forward and Lucky backed up in reflex. Elias kept coming forward. “I’m sorry I stayed away so long.”
Lucky managed a shrug. “Like I said, forgiven. It doesn’t matter anymore.” He cleared his throat. “Why are you here? Passing through town again?”
He had no idea what Elias did for a living, what he did that kept him away from Lucky and off the grid for years. Sometimes Lucky was sure he didn’t want to know and other times, he wanted to know everything about the man who gave him safety and comfort when he didn’t want it, but desperately needed it.
“How long I stay completely depends on you, Lucky.” Elias stood not even a foot away, looking at Lucky as if he couldn’t get enough. It was what Lucky had wanted ever since that night. It was what he’d sought that evening after his aunt’s funeral.
Lucky looked away and swallowed. “Why are you back, Elias?”
“I promised to come back.”
“You also promised to send a fucking postcard,” Lucky lashed out. “Something. Anything, to let me know you were all right.”
“I know. Lucky.” He tried to touch Lucky’s face, but Lucky stepped away from that touch. “I couldn’t.”
Yeah. “You know what? It’s okay. It’s all good. At least I know what to expect from you, right?”
Pain flashed in Elias’s eyes. “The last thing I wanted was to hurt you, Lucky.”
“Uh huh. Well…” He grabbed his keys and phone from the desk. “Nice catching up, but I gotta go.” As if on key, a horn sounded from in front of the shop. “You need to leave and I need to lock up.”
“This is your place?”
“Does it matter?”
“Someone is picking you up,” Elias said softly, but Lucky caught the growl in his voice.
“Regular detective, aren’t you?” Lucky gave him his back. “Yes, I have a ride tonight and every night. That’s my boyfriend.” The satisfaction at speaking those words were cut off when the air around him seemed to still. He desperately wanted to look over his shoulder, see just what Elias was doing, what his face looked like, but the coward in him couldn’t.
“You have a boyfriend.”
“Just said that.” Lucky spun around.
Elias’s feet were planted apart, arms crossed, his face fierce and one eyebrow raised. “Who is he?”
Lucky laughed at him. “Really? You drop in and out of my life when it suits you, disappear for years and then reappear to question me about who I’m sleeping with? Are you serious? Fuck outta here.”
He didn’t even see Elias move, but the older man’s large hand was around Lucky’s throat, face in his face. “Not gonna ask again, Lucky.”
His scent was everywhere, his heat too. Lucky pushed against him, but that only succeeded in bringing their bodies tighter into each other. He shuddered. Couldn’t help it, couldn’t contain it. “Fuck you.” That should not have sounded so soft and shaky.
“Lucky?”
Elias released Lucky and thrust him behind his body as the door opened and Chad stepped inside.
“Hey.” Chad’s gaze zeroed in on Elias then Lucky. “You ready to go?
“Ah…” Lucky cleared his throat. “Yeah.” His voice was a weak croak. “Yes, I’m ready.”
“Who is this?” Chad eyed Elias up and down.
“Just a client.” Lucky stepped away from Elias and went to Chad. “He was just leaving.” He made himself look at Elias, ignoring the threat of violence in Elias’s gaze. “Time to leave.”
Elias nodded slowly, the ice in his gaze pinning Lucky to the spot. Chad touched him, a smooth stroke down his arm, but Lucky couldn’t look away from Elias.
“Of course,” Elias said slowly. A smile appeared on his face as he turned to Chad. “Good night to you two. Be careful out there, huh?” His teeth appeared.
Lucky frowned. Was that a threat? But Elias was already gone, the tinkling of the bells the only indication of him walking out the door. Lucky ignored Chad’s questioning eyes and went about locking up. His hands shook, but he managed somehow. Elias always had the worst possible fucking timing.
“I didn’t like that guy,” Chad said as they pulled out of the parking lot the tattoo studio shared with Marco’s Pizza Palace.
“What? Which guy?” Lucky pretended he didn’t know damn well who Chad was referring to.
“Your client. There was something about him.” Chad glanced at Lucky. “He didn’t hurt you or anything like that, did he?”
“No.” Lucky rubbed Chad’s thigh. “I’m fine. He’s just a harmless client who came in late for a consult.”
Chad didn’t say anything, and Lucky dropped his head back, eyes closed. He’d shared the hottest night with Elias, given himself to him, and like every other time, Elias disappeared while Lucky slept. No word, nothing to let Lucky know he was alive. Now he just pops back up and what? He expected Lucky to still be pining for him, to still be waiting for him? Lucky gave up on waiting. Elias’s abandonment that night had broken something in him, sending him straight to hunting for someone to take away any memory of Elias. He’d whored around before finally wising up and settling down with someone significant.
Chad was his second long-term boyfriend, after Michael. They had a good thing. Lucky could trust Chad to be home at nightfall. Lucky never stopped wanting what he wanted from Elias, but he’d finally understood he’d never have it. That freed him up some to allow other men into his heart. At least as much as he could with Elias’s ghost still taking up residence there.
He touched a hand to his chest, over his heart. His heartbeat was fast, thundering under his palm.
Elias.
Once again, his presence fucked everything up.
****
He should have expected it. Why he didn’t, Elias could only attribute to his ego. He sat in his car in the parking lot of Lucky’s tattoo parlor and watched as the taillights of the car Lucky and his boyfriend drove off in disappeared.
There’d always been the possibility of Lucky moving on. Hell, in some ways Elias wanted him to. The reality though, that was a bitch to deal with. Part of him wanted to find that Chad guy and stomp him out, but that wouldn’t help his case with Lucky, and Elias wanted Lucky more than he wanted to smash that fucker Chad’s face in.
The last time he’d seen Lucky, Elias had been sneaking out of the hotel, Lucky’s scent all over him, his scratches all over his skin. It had taken superhuman strength, but somehow Elias had managed to walk away. He wanted to give Lucky more time to figure things out, to live, to experience life.
Elias gripped the steering wheel with a growl. There was no more waiting. No more holding himself back. There’d be no more other men touching what he’d claimed for himself so long ago.
“Fuck. Fuck.” He slammed the heel of his right hand on the steering wheel. He’d been in Saudi Arabia for the past few years, where his boss had settled, the longest time they’d spent in one place thus far. Elias couldn’t refuse to go, couldn’t say no. Not if he wanted Lucky safe. So in order to protect Lucky he had to hurt him, break his heart. Wasn’t as if he could sit Lucky down and explain the whys. That was guaranteed to send Lucky running, and Elias couldn’t let that happen.
His boss, Haimon Konstantinou, was back in the States, settling here for good this time. So of course Elias would be here for Lucky.
His phone went off in his lap and Elias answered. “Tek.”
“How did it go?” his friend asked.
Elias screwed his face into a grimace. “It didn’t. Why didn’t you tell me he was seeing someone?” He’d tasked his friends Tek and Israel into looking out for Lucky whenever Elias wasn’t around to do it himself.
“Figured it was best you handle that head on.” He heard Tek’s shrug. “What are you gonna do?”
“What do you think?”
Tek chuckled. “You can’t kill your competition, Elias.”
“Can’t I?”
“No, you can’t.” Israel Storm’s voice came over the phone as if he’d taken it from Tek. “Leave the kid alone.”
Yeah. That wasn’t going to happen. “Fuck. You two know how long I’ve waited for this. I can’t walk away.”
“Aight. I hear you,” Israel said slowly. “But I’m with Tek. You can’t kill the boyfriend.” His voice turned hopeful. “We could rough him up, threaten him into leaving town.”
His Jamaican friend was not a fan of Elias’s lifestyle and Tek’s… What did they call Tek’s shit anyway? Either way, despite not understanding Elias and Tek’s preferences, Israel hadn’t kicked them out of his life when he’d gotten out of prison. He was straight, but had completely changed his tune from the intense hatred he’d had for them, Tek especially, inside the walls of Rikers Island. Elias appreciated it and after what they’d been through in that place, Tek and Israel had his unbreakable trust and friendship. They didn’t get to see each other, not with Elias always away, but at least they knew why.
