Elliot’s foot did something weird, causing him to miss a step, and he tripped, slamming his face into the doorjamb. Stars filled his vision, and the world tilted as it faded out then back in. Jens was by his side, one arm around Elliot’s waist as he supported him.

“Are you okay?” Jens asked.

He gave his head a short shake, which turned out to be a mistake. Already dizzy, he made it worse. The room swam in front of him, but Jens’ hands were solid on his body.

“I think you need to sit.”

“God, I’m such a klutz.”

“Yeah, but you’re adorable.”

Elliot turned to stare at Jens, narrowing his eyes to see if the guy was making fun of him. There was no ridicule in Jens’ eyes, only a small bit of laughter with caring obvious. He leaned his head on Jens’ shoulder and closed his eyes.

“I’m a mess. I’m sorry. Last night, I freaked. This morning, I freaked. Then I did this. God, I can pack and leave. I don’t—”

“Hush, you’re not leaving. One, the snow is too thick, and two, this room is too cold. If you leave, I’d freeze to death.”

Elliot snorted out a sharp laugh. “At least I’m good for something.”

Jens leaned in and brushed his lips over Elliot’s, shocking the hell out of him. “You’re good for more than one thing.”

His chest grew tight, and his throat closed up. So many times he’d wanted something like this but never found a guy who he felt comfortable with. Now, in the middle of Boston, in a snowstorm, he found the perfect guy, and they just happened to be total strangers. Fuck, total strangers who’d slept together, coming closer to actual sex with a real live human than he had in a long time.

“I really need to pee.”

Jens glanced down, a smile tilting up the corners of his mouth. “Well, your dick has gone down enough to do that.”

Elliot sucked in a breath, his body heating. “God, now I’m really embarrassed. It’s so small like this.”

“Like I said last night, I think you have a very beautiful penis. I could find something perfect about your dick every day. Waking up to you in my bed would be nice, soft or hard. I like your cock.”

If he thought he was hot before, now he was almost on fire, and his dick was beginning to get hard again. “I gotta pee.”

“Go, I’ll start some coffee—shit, no coffee. I’ll start some tea.”

“Okay, I’ll be out in just a few.”

Elliot closed the door and leaned against the wood paneling, wishing he could disappear into the floor. His bladder didn’t stop bugging him, forcing him to move away from the door and do something about his situation. After taking a piss, he moved to the sink, avoiding looking at himself in the mirror. He brushed his teeth, still not looking at himself. Once he rinsed his mouth, he caught his reflection and almost gasped. The knot on his head was huge. A wave of nausea washed over him, and he clutched the counter, holding on tight.

“Hey, you okay in there?” Jens called through the door.

“Yeah, just finishing up.” Elliot closed his eyes and blew out a breath. Last night and now this morning, it was almost too much. He couldn’t hide in here all day, so he squared his shoulders and moved to the door, pulling it open slowly.

Jens was right there, leaning against the doorjamb. His eyes narrowed as he stared at Elliot. “That’s a huge lump. Please go sit in the bed while I clean up, then we can get some breakfast. Don’t get dressed either.”

Heat filled Elliot, and Jens’ cheeks turned pink.

“Not anything sexual, though you do it for me, but I don’t want you falling down while I’m in the bathroom.”

He nodded, his head feeling heavy. “Okay, I don’t want to fall either.” Elliot stepped out of the bathroom, and Jens went in, closing the door behind him. He moved to the bed, stretching out on the side Jens had occupied. He pulled the cover up high and turned, sniffing the pillow Jens had used. There was a little of his scent on the pillow, but mostly it smelled of fabric softener and detergent.

He closed his eyes and let his imagination run wild. Thoughts of him and Jens being together at his place filled his mind. They’d snuggle close at night and have molten hot sex. He reached below the covers, running his fingers of the tip of his cock, enjoying the slow fill as blood pumped to his dick.

The bed dipped beside him, and he flashed open his eyes. Jens was right there, concern evident on his face.

“You look flush. Maybe we should pack up to go see a doctor.”

“No, I’m fine.”

“Your face is red, and you’re perspiring a bit. We need to—”

Elliot grabbed his arm and stilled him. “Stop, I’m not red faced and hot because of the bump on my head.”

Jens lifted a brow then glanced to the sheets about where his crotch was. The seductive smile heated Elliot even more.

“So you’re lying right where I slept, and you’re jacking off. Damn, that’s so freaking hot. Tell me, what were you thinking of?”

He shook his head, wishing he could hide. “Oh no, it’s too embarrassing.”

Jens lowered, his lips brushing over Elliot’s mouth before he nibbled a path to his ear. “Tell me,” Jens whispered. “Please.”

The soft plea was more than he could take. “It was about you being in my bed at my house, how much I wanted you there, what we were doing together.”

Jens lifted the covers and slid in beside him, his hands finding Elliot’s dick. The slow strokes Jens used were like honey and fire all rolled into one. He craved more and wanted to be lost in Jens’ arms, forgetting the rest of the world, but he knew it couldn’t last. He didn’t even know where Jens lived.

“Let me suck you,” Jens said.

The question blasted through his thoughts and raced through his veins, sending a memo to his cock. “Yes,” he hissed out.

Jens left a trail of kisses down his chest as he made his way to Elliot’s cock. The first brush of his lips over Elliot’s dick had him squeezing the sheets and pulling at them, trying to rip them from the bed. Jens’ tongue circled the head of his cock before he sucked down on him.

“Oh, Jesus, that’s good.”

The sweet torture didn’t stop as Jens licked and kissed his dick, but the man didn’t stop there. He feathered his fingers over Elliot’s balls before licking all around his sac. Elliot sucked in a breath and held it, forcing himself to calm. He’d never see this man again, and he wanted this blowjob to last forever. Jens proved too skillful, and Elliot couldn’t hold back. He slammed his eyes closed and came. He might have passed out. He wasn’t sure. All he knew was Jens was there, kissing him, his hands smoothing over his muscles. The taste of his cum on Jens’ lips was a heady aphrodisiac. Time twisted, and he didn’t know up from down by the time Jens finished kissing him.

“Wow,” Elliot breathed out.

“Wow is right. Damn, I said your cock is beautiful, but having my lips on it was amazing.”

He’d never had a guy compliment him on his dick like Elliot was. The words brought warmth that went through his whole body.

“I wish you lived with me—well, in the same city. God, that came out wrong.”

Jens smiled down at him, his eyes sparkling with merriment. “That’s the best offer I’ve ever had.”

He sobered quickly. “I really didn’t—”

“Hey, I know it wasn’t what you meant. I just thought it was funny.” Jens narrowed his gaze and stared at Elliot’s head. “How does your head feel? I probably shouldn’t have done that to you, but you are just so hot.”

“I’m okay, just hungry.”

“Hungry is good. Let me get some food started. I forgot to turn on the teakettle earlier. Can you stay here while I get some stuff together?”

“I can help.” He moved to stand, but Jens’ hand on his shoulder stopped him.

“I know you can help, but you did take a good hit to your head, and I did just blow your mind with an awesome orgasm.” Jens winked and smiled.

“That did blow my mind.”

“So it’s settled. You stay here. I’ll make breakfast. We’ll eat, and then we can stay in bed. Right now, I need to throw on more clothes so I don’t freeze.”

“I wish it was summer right now,” Elliot said.

“Really, why?”

“Because you wouldn’t have to put on any clothes. You’re freaking sexy without clothes on.”

Jens blushed and rolled his eyes. “You hit your head. I’m going to make breakfast. You rest.” Jens stood and started to pull on his sweats and a T-shirt.

“I may have hit my head, but you are very sexy.”

“Thanks.” Jens tugged on a sweatshirt before moving into the kitchen.

Elliot watched him work, admiring the way the man moved. Maybe it was the head injury or the storm, but he was fantasizing about them being together. It was stupid for him to make up shit in his head, but Jens was the type of guy he wanted. Maybe he was being ridiculous, but if there were any way he could do it, he’d make Jens his.

“Hey, do you like onion in your eggs?”

“Are you having them in yours?”

“I think so…you will still kiss me even if I have onion breath, right?”

“Yes. Give me some, too.”

Elliot rolled to his side and grabbed his underwear, pulling it on. Then he grabbed his sweats and stood, realizing that he’d really knocked himself for a loop and that orgasm had taken some of his strength. He plopped back down on the mattress.

“Hey, you aren’t getting up on your own, right? That bump on your head is big.”

“I was going to, but I realized how stupid it would be to do something like that.”

“Okay, give me a couple of minutes, and I’ll help you.”

Elliot dropped to the mattress, wondering how long he’d feel dizzy for. He lifted his legs and pulled on his sweats while he was still on the bed. At least he had his pants on. He needed socks and a new shirt. His shirt was probably crusty with their cum. Elliot closed his eyes, thinking about him and Jens together. The man had his number. Elliot would never have accepted another guy as easily as he accepted Jens.

Lips brushed across his, and he smiled. “I like that.”

“Come on, let’s get you dressed. You’re feet are probably cold, at least mine are. You need socks, too.”

Elliot opened his eyes, focusing on Jens beautiful blue ones. “Why are you being so nice?”

Jens sat on the bed beside him, his face serious. “I like you. I don’t know why. It’s that instant attraction thing that no one understands, and that wasn’t just because you were naked when I first saw you. I can’t explain it. I just like you.”

“Okay, I understand. I kind of feel the same way.”

“Where are your shirts?” Jens asked.

“My suitcase is in the closet.”

“I’ll get you a shirt.”

He closed his eyes and drew in a deep breath. His head was pounding a bit, but it wasn’t too bad, at least not like it was before.

“Here you go, and here’s some socks, too.”

Jens helped him get dressed, kissing his nose once he had the socks and shirt on. When he stood, he didn’t need Jens’ assistance. Maybe the orgasm had knocked him harder than he thought it would. Once at the table, he sat so he could stare out into the winter wonderland, drinking in the beauty. Jens put down two plates of eggs with vegetables.

“Looks and smells good.”

“Oh, let me grab the tea.”

He waited for Jens to come back with the tea. They seemed so domestic together. It was hard to remember that he and Jens didn’t really know each other. Though he wanted this fantasy to continue, he decided he needed some real answers and information.

Jens took the seat next to him after placing two mugs of hot tea on the table. He picked up his fork and took a bite, looking expectantly at Elliot. The man had worked hard on breakfast, and he didn’t want to seem unappreciative. He took his first bite, moaning as the tasty eggs and vegetables hit his tongue.

“It’s really good.”

“Thanks.”

Elliot took another bite then adjusted in his seat and turned to look at Jens. They stared at each other for a few seconds before Elliot decided he couldn’t ignore the subject any longer.

“Where do you live?”

“Going straight for the jugular?”

“Sorry, I just need to know how impossible this situation is before I get even more attached.”

Jens nodded and took another bite, chewing thoughtfully. “If we both lived in Boston, would you be willing to make the effort to date me?”

“In a heartbeat.”

“Maybe it’s impossible to think that we could have something, but I want there to be something.”

“Are you just saying that?”

“No, Elliot, I really am attracted to you, and I like you. Yeah, we need to spend more time together, but I think we could end up with something worth working for.”

“So where do you live?”

“Right now, I’m in San Francisco.”

“Really?”

“Yes. Where are you at?”

Disappointment filled Elliot. They were too far apart. It would never work. “I’m in Atlanta.”

“Wow, not only are we separated by loads of miles, there’s a bit of a time difference there.”

“I knew it was too good to be true.”

Jens reached out and took his hand. “Don’t give up yet. Something could happen.”

“Do you really think so?”

“Maybe. If we try.”

They ate the rest of their meal in silence. Elliot wondered if Jens actually meant what he said. Could they have something together? He’d never done a long distance relationship, but he’d heard horror stories from others. Would being in a relationship with Jens be worth the pain, because he knew there’d be pain. Like when he said goodbye on Monday, that would be excruciating.

Jens glanced up and smiled, his teeth flashing between his generous lips. Elliot’s cock twitched, blood rushing south. Yeah, Jens would be worth it.

CHAPTER FIVE

They spent the day reading, catching up on email, eating a bit, talking about everything under the sun, and kissing a lot. He hadn’t wanted to push Elliot into getting naked again, at least not until bedtime. They were almost out of food and would have to leave in the morning for breakfast. He stared out the window, wondering if the sidewalks would be clear enough to walk on.

Steps sounded behind him. “What are you looking at?” Elliot asked.

He turned and placed one hand on Elliot’s hip, lifting the other to run his thumb over Elliot’s lips.
