Oh my God. What the fucking hell is that?

And still it stretched until she felt something pop inside. Whatever it was, it filled her.

What the hell? It feels massive . . . and heavy . . . and oh so cold.

‘Xander, dare I ask what you’ve just inserted into my arse?’

He bent over her so that his mouth was close to her ear. ‘Don’t think, Red. Just feel.’

Typical! Why can he nev—- Ooh . . . Oh. My. God.

Xander bit the back of her shoulder, just as he slid his cock inside her pussy. The sensation was indescribable. Her eyes almost rolled back inside her head as her temperature raised a few degrees leaving her feeling more hot and bothered than she could ever remember. She felt like she was stuffed beyond her limit . . . down there. Her whole body felt alert and hypersensitive. She could feel his breath on her back, her nipples scraping on the desk, her aching breasts squeezed against the cool wood. And she could feel his rigid cock pressing against that hard object as it slid all the way inside her and then it felt like it was going to push it out. She tried to grip it with her anal muscles.

It’s moving . . . it’s going to pop out of my arse. But oh God, that feels sooooo good.

But she felt his fingers preventing whatever it was from ejecting. Her internal muscles were in a frenzy trying to grip both objects. It wasn’t a conscious effort on her part – it just happened. And then he began to pull his cock back out.

Whoa! That feels odd. Oh but it feels good. Better than good.

She could grip the unidentified object and hold it in place easily as his cock pulled almost completely out, marvelling at the heavy weight of it. But then he pushed back into her and the process began again. She relaxed – mentally if not physically – when she realised that he was going to help her keep both inside her.

He began to establish a slow rhythm. ‘What does it feel like, Red, to be doubly penetrated by two rock solid objects? Hmm? Tell me. Is it good? Does it feel like two men are fucking you at once? You’d like that, wouldn’t you my cock-hungry slut?’

Isla struggled to find her voice. How could she describe something indescribable? How could she even speak when he was subjecting her to such overwhelming pleasure?

A low moan escaped from her lips as he pushed inside her faster than before.

‘Oh my beautiful, sexy, filthy, little fuck toy . . . have I finally found a way to shut you up?’

She tried to retaliate but all that came out of her mouth was, ‘Mmmm . . . ohhhh.’

He began thrusting with more force. Isla felt that she really couldn’t take it. She wanted to wriggle out from underneath him but she couldn’t move – he was pinning her down. Worse than that, she felt an orgasm building swiftly.

Oh God, no. Please no. I don’t think I could stand it . . .

But she was powerless to resist. Loud, unintelligible moans came from deep inside her. Xander grabbed her knickers and stuffed them in her mouth to stifle the sound but he didn’t slow his pace.

Isla’s body began to tremble violently, her knees buckling but the desk had her weight. Her muffled groans filled the office until she began to claw at the desk, grasping at anything until she reached the summit of her climax. Spasms of divine destruction ravaged her body as a muffled scream rose from her burning lungs. She felt the solid object slide from her body and heard a dull thud as it hit the floor.

She heard a guttural sound emit from Xander’s throat before he grabbed a fistful of her hair at the nape of her neck and pulled her upright. She gripped the desk, lest her weak knees fail to hold her up. His teeth sank into the hollow of her neck, just above her collar bone as he muffled his own cry as he came.

He lowered them on to the desktop. Isla pulled her knickers from her mouth as she struggled to get her breath.

Fuck. Fuck. Fucking hell!

Slowly her body began to relax except for her pussy. It tingled, it twitched and spasmed at will for several minutes.

‘Is that better, Red?’

‘Well, except for the fact that there appears to be a party in my pussy, yes.’

He laughed and then propped himself up on an elbow. ‘A party for three?’

‘Huh?’

‘Your pussy, my cock and . . .’

‘And what?’

He stood. ‘That.’

She turned over to find that he was pointing at the floor a short distance away from the desk.

She leaned over to look where his finger was indicating. She gasped.

‘No way,’ she breathed.

‘Yes way,’ he muttered.

The bastard even had the nerve to give her a ‘Don’t come the innocent with me, that’s been in your arse’ look as he bent and picked up the oval-shaped, glass paperweight that usually sat on the desk.

‘Fuck me,’ she whispered.

‘That’s what I thought when it caught my eye,’ he grinned as he began to toss it up in the air and catch it repeatedly. ‘Glad you approve.’

She opened her mouth to admonish him but he just laughed as he caught the weighty object in his outstretched palm.

She shook her head. ‘You’re a fucking deviant, Xander Rhodes.’

‘Says she who just fucked it. And admit it, Red. You fucking loved it.’

‘I’ll do no such thing,’ she scowled as she began to dress. ‘As far as I’m concerned, that never happened.’

He grinned as he pulled his foreskin back over the head of his cock. ‘Okay, it can be our little secret . . . until the next time. You can deny it to me until you’re blue in the face but you know how good it felt and you know how every single time you sit down today, you’re going to be reminded of that fact. Every time you feel the tenderness – right there, you’re going to feel the memory of my cock and that paperweight stretching you to that mind-blowing conclusion . . . and you’re going to want to feel it again. Don’t bother to deny it, I know you too well.’

Ramming her feet into her heels, she ignored him and walked over to the door, already feeling the said tenderness. As she passed through it, she heard him chuckling as he dressed.

Cocky fucking twat!

Chapter Twelve

As Isla dashed up to the suite to shower and change, Xander went to check on how his staff were integrating with Rouge Passion’s. Everything was running smoothly and he was assured that everyone was up to speed with information on the hotel and what was required of them. As he walked back through the lobby, a well-dressed lady in her mid-forties walked towards him on her way out of the hotel. He smiled and asked whether she was enjoying her stay and whether there was anything she needed. She smiled reassuringly and said that so far, her stay was enjoyable but she’d be sure to let him know if she thought of anything.

Belinda was desperately trying to get his attention behind the woman’s back without making it blatantly obvious. Xander noticed that it was beginning to rain outside so he informed the inspector and asked if she required an umbrella or a cab. She looked through the revolving door and said that yes, an umbrella would be most appreciated. He called over to Derek and asked him to furnish the guest with one. Derek looked blank but, seemingly from nowhere, but in reality from the bar, Xander’s own concierge appeared with an umbrella in his hand. He accompanied her through the revolving door and then opened the umbrella before handing it over.

Derek and Belinda watched with raised eyebrows.

‘And that, Derek, is how the concierge of a five-star hotel operates,’ Xander replied in answer to their mystified expressions.

‘Good job, Bill,’ he said to the other man when he returned through the revolving door. ‘I think Derek could learn a lot from you.’

‘Xander,’ Belinda hissed, finally finding her voice. ‘That was her. You know
her.

‘Yes, I could tell from the way you looked to be having some sort of seizure. Bill, you know what to do. Which room is she in, Belinda?’

‘203,’ she replied.

‘Give Bill a room key then. He’s going to update the information in her room.’ He gave a conspiratorial wink and then went in search of Isla.

He found her coming out of her suite. ‘Ms Inspector has gone to lunch. My concierge is about to update the menu and do a sweep of her room. There’s not much he can do without her spotting that someone has been busy in her absence but if there’s anything missing that he can rectify, he’ll find it. He’ll turn down the bed, change the lighting and whatever else an evening housekeeper would do too. That’s five-star service, you know.’

As they waited for the lift, Isla rubbed her bottom subconsciously.

‘A little tender are we?’ Xander enquired, a roguish expression on his face.

‘I don’t know what you mean,’ she replied, batting her eyelashes innocently.

The lift doors opened and Bill stepped out.

‘When you’ve done that, Bill, would you have someone bring over my suitcases from my suite please? I’m in dire need of a shave and a change of clothes.’

‘Of course, Mr Rhodes.’

‘Your concierge, I take it. I think I recognise him. Do you think he could give Derek some lessons while he’s here?’ she joked.

‘He already is. Derek will be the best concierge in the area when Bill’s finished with him.’

‘Bloody hell, when you mean business, you’re a force to be reckoned with. Was this going to happen anyway, or was it prompted by the inspection?’

‘My eye has been off the ball of late, well, in a business sense. Too much going on elsewhere but now I’m fully focused on this place. I want it to run as smoothly as possible. And it will. Mark my words, it will. We’ll drag it up to five stars if it kills us.’

Isla smiled. It was good to hear him being positive about the future after acknowledging his recent issues.

‘Thank you for getting your staff over here like that. It might mean we’ll escape with a four-star rating. I think, because she’s had to go next door for lunch, we’ve lost the five-star rating there – no matter how good your chef is.’

‘Ah, but we had an issue in the kitchen that only cropped up this morning. For health and safety reasons, it had to be temporarily closed. Food was provided next door that will be charged to her room but I’ll wipe it and make a note that it was complimentary because of the unavoidable disruption. Oh, that reminds me, we need to make sure that Belinda puts her account in an envelope at the end of her stay, and if she gets a message, that should be sealed in an envelope too. Oh, I forgot. Margot, my head receptionist will be here soon. She’ll sort it. She’s like an old fashioned matron – efficiency and professionalism personified.’

*

Within half an hour, Bill appeared at the office door.

Xander called him in.

‘I found this in the inspector’s room. Well, this is a photocopy but I thought you should see it.’

He passed a piece of paper to Xander whose face turned stony as he read it.

‘Thanks Bill. You did the right thing.’

‘The room was clean, well-aired and supplied. I’ve emptied the bins, turned back the bed and switched a lamp on. I’ve updated the binder with anything that was missing, as well as changed the menu information. Let me know if you need me for anything else.’

‘We will. Thank you, Bill.’

He turned and left, closing the door behind him.

‘Well, what did he find?’

Xander turned to her. ‘I’m not sure what all the notes mean but somebody has requested that she pay us a visit. I can’t be certain but it looks like someone is paying her £5000 for her efforts. Now who would bribe a hotel inspector to perform an inspection? If they were tipped off by irate guests, they don’t get paid to do it, it’s up to the organisation whether an inspection is done. Unless I’m very much mistaken, she’s being paid to give us a low grading.’

Isla stared at him open-mouthed as she absorbed his words.

‘Now who do either of us know that would do such a thing?’ To say he looked and sounded utterly pissed off would be an understatement.

Isla’s eyes widened to match her mouth. ‘No, she wouldn’t.’

‘You don’t know the scheming bitch. Oh yes, she would.’

‘But what would she get out of it? If she thinks you own the hotel, why would she want to damage it? It doesn’t make any sense.’

‘I told her categorically that I didn’t and I could prove it. I told her that you owned it but that you were merely a business acquaintance. Somehow, I don’t think she believed that part.’

Isla frowned. ‘My name is printed on all stationery as the owner so that shouldn’t be hard for her to discover, should she be so inclined. So this is just her way of getting at me. Some sort of revenge attempt.’

He nodded. ‘It looks that way. I’m sorry, Red.’

‘What do we do? Should we confront the inspector?’

He pursed his lips. ‘Not unless we have to.’

‘Bloody hell, Xander. It looks like she’s going to be trouble. What’s next, I wonder?’

‘Nothing, I hope. Otherwise I’ll seek legal advice. Of course, I have no proof that she was behind this. Even if the inspector was open to a bribe to trump Janine’s, in order to find out that it was her behind it, I couldn’t use that in court. Owning up to bribing the inspector for information is no better than what Janine has done, assuming it is her. There has to be another way of finding out the information.’

Isla cocked her head and thought about it. ‘You probably won’t agree to this but Jones, the security guard, is
very
well connected. He may be able to help. He might be able to get the information somehow without implicating you.’

Xander narrowed his eyes. ‘I’ll give it some thought. We’re going to have to go through with this inspection anyway but I can’t see how, if we’re in the four-star and five-star bracket for everything, she can give us a low rating. She may choose to forgo the bribe because it just isn’t possible to downgrade us too far without arousing suspicion. Let’s see what happens.’

‘Bitch,’ muttered Isla, shaking her head in disbelief. She just couldn’t get her head around it.

‘Who – Janine or the inspector?’

‘Both,’ she muttered. ‘I suppose you’re right; we have no choice but to get through this inspection as best we can, as though it were just a regular inspection, and see what she has to say. Bringing in your team of staff will have made her life a whole lot more difficult.’

As the day wore on, Isla began to relax. She felt fresher after a quick change of clothes, following her encounter with Xander in the office. She had briefed Nadine as soon as she arrived and had averted a near crisis when she’d found Bobbi arguing with Xander’s head of housekeeping. It seemed that she’d taken offence when the more experienced woman had tried to delicately point out that some of Bobbi’s team were not thorough enough in their cleaning routines. She’d told Bobbi in no uncertain terms to listen and act upon the advice or else prove herself unsuitable for the role. She’d left Bobbi with a stern warning that she wasn’t irreplaceable.

She had to hand it to Xander; his staff truly were an asset. The reception rota was amended so that his staff would cover night shifts, including his night porter. The restaurant looked transformed when she dared take a peek. They’d brought table linen and decorations with them and had wasted no time in making it look like a five-star hotel’s restaurant. They’d even brought a selection of CDs that were more in keeping with such a restaurant than the current stuff that Dean blasted in the bar.

When she popped her head into the kitchen, it was a hive of activity and she was ushered out as they got to grips with the catering equipment in there and prepared the food for the evening menu. As she walked back through the bar, she saw Charlie chatting in earnest to another gentleman. When she approached them, she found that Xander had even recruited his own gardener to help Charlie put the finishing touches to the grounds.

As she walked back inside, Belinda gestured to her from the reception desk.

‘I’ve got some woman on hold asking to speak to the owner, Xander Rhodes. What do I say?’

‘Tell her that the owner is Isla Hamilton and ask if she wishes to be put through to me.’

Belinda nodded and duly followed Isla’s instruction. A second later, the blonde gasped.

‘She said don’t bother and hung up on me. How rude.’

Nadine frowned. ‘That’s a little odd. But why didn’t you just put the call through to Xander? Maybe she knows he works here and was pissed that you didn’t just put her through to him. Maybe it’s his lover. I’d be pissed if some woman tried to stop me talking to him, if I was his lucky lady.’

Belinda nodded but Isla had a feeling that she knew who it was. ‘If anyone else calls asking to speak with him, tell them that there’s nobody here with that name. If it’s anyone who Xander wants to speak to, they’ll have his mobile number anyway.’

Although I still don’t . . . unless it’s in my phone somewhere after I had it blocked.

‘But why?’ Nadine persisted.

‘Never mind why. Just do it.’ Isla was about to walk away but she paused. ‘Have either of you heard anything from Dean yet?’

They both shook their heads. ‘I hope he’s okay. It’s very unlike Dean,’ Belinda mused.

‘Hmm. It is indeed. If you do, let me know straight away please.’

Back inside her office, she filled Xander in on the mysterious phone call. Instantly, his face clouded over. ‘She’s like a WAG with a Gucci handbag; she just won’t let it go.’

Isla grinned at his turn of phrase but he ignored her.

‘I guess all we can do is cover our tracks but I’m not sure you being here is a good idea, Xander. I mean, why would you be spending hours here every day?’

‘To help you out, of course. I’ll say I considered it “giving something back to the community” or some such bollocks.’

‘You could say you were mentoring me.’

He shot her a look. ‘I don’t think that talking about our sex life will do me any favours.’

She rolled her eyes. ‘Have you spent your whole life with your mind in the gutter?’

‘Pretty much. It’s where I’m most at home.’

Oh shit. Is he referring to his poor start in life? Or is he just referring to his dirty mind?

‘Stop overthinking it, Red. You’ll have a stroke before much longer the way you carry on.’

She looked pointedly at his crotch. ‘I’d like much more than just a stroke.’

‘Now whose mind is in the gutter? And don’t start something you’re not prepared to finish. I doubt the entire hotel wants to hear your screams. Even having your knickers stuffed in your mouth doesn’t shut you up. I’m going to have to get you a ball gag. Until then, I’m sure Charlie has some duct tape in his tool box.’ He grinned, obviously liking the idea.

‘Don’t even think about it.’ She scowled.

‘Too late,’ he taunted, those eyes darkening rapidly. ‘I already have. I’m picturing black tape against your pale skin . . . fuck me, that’s a horny image. You’re making my cock hard, Red.’

He got up from behind the desk and advanced upon her.

‘Oh no,’ she cried. ‘Professional distance, remember. Besides, you’ll have to play Charlie a visit before you can even think of putting that idea into practice.’

He walked her backwards until her back was against the wall.
