ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When I was young, I discovered the power of the written word, and I’ve been a fan ever since. LOL! It always amazed and astounded me that not everyone was as fascinated by language as I was. I became an avid reader, reading everything from romance novels to classic literature. Basically anything I could get my hands on. Sometimes I would come away from those books with a feeling of profound satisfaction. But sometimes all I could think of was…
No! That’s not how it should have gone!! I would have done it this way.

I started writing my own scenes, trying to make the stories work like I wanted them to. In college I majored in English and started writing short stories in a creative-writing class. I won some awards for them, but once I graduated, the real world took over and I had to go to…ugh…work. I continued to read like a madwoman, but writing took a back seat until a few years ago, when I took it up again. I played around with poetry, short stories, but nothing really clicked. Until I discovered the “new” paranormal romance genre through the works of authors such as Christine Feehan, Angela Knight, and Sherrilyn Kenyon. I loved the sexy new vampires and werewolves that were so unlike the horrific creatures of my childhood nightmares. I wanted to create my own. I hope you enjoy my world of gorgeous vampires and hot werewolves, where danger lurks and love dares all.
