“I’ll let you know the day of
, cuz it might change depending on how it goes down.”

She shrugged her smooth shoulders. “Fair enough.”

“Now, what can you tell me about the person who hired Jax and his crew?”

Quiana twisted her lips. “Ummm
, his name is Mack, or at least that’s what he goes by now. He’s constantly changing his identity. He has a house in San Diego and one in Malibu and he owns an adult store in Hollywood. Well, he owns several adult stores on the west coast, but he runs his secret criminal operations out of the Hollywood location.”

“What’s the name of his store?”

“Lover’s Lane.” She smirked. “Speaking of lovers, don’t forget about our arrangement when all this is over.”

Quiana closed the distance between us and grabbed my dick gently in her soft hands. She rubbed my balls with the tips of her fingers as she pressed her breasts up against my torso.

“I think he likes me.” She looked down at my growing erection. “Wow, he must really like me.” She squeezed my joint snuggly.

She looked up at me and grinned cunningly before she sunk her knees into the sand below. She continued to hold my jewels hostage as she came face to face with it.

“My mom told me many things which I completely ignored, but I did hold onto to this little piece of advice she shared with me.”

I held my composure. “And what did your mama tell you?”

Quiana licked her lips. “My mom said to never ever ignore a hard cock.”

After she said that she stuck her pink tongue out and licked the tip of my dick like a Blow Pop. She darted her tongue out a second time and tasted me again. She continued to gently massage my balls as she closed her eyes and licked along the sides of my shaft. Quiana licked my entire dick, however, not once did she open
her pretty mouth and let me in.

“Mmmm your dick tastes delicious. I smell cocoa butter body wash. Am I right?” She finally looked up at me from her knelling position.

“You hit the nail on the head. My soap has a little aloe in it too. After I wash up, I rub a little mineral oil on my dick. It has no scent and it’s tasteless, and it keeps my shit moisturized. I can’t pull an ashy dick out and expect a woman like you to wanna suck it now can I?”

Quiana gave my throbbing head a peck. “No sir you cannot. I love a
man that takes care of his body, especially his penis. Dallas is truly a lucky woman to have a man like you and a toy like this to play with every night. You just make sure to save some for me because I can’t wait for you climb between my thighs and fuck me hard and fast until I pass out…and then our business will be finished.”

“It would be my pleasure boss lady.”

“Good, that’s what I want to hear.” She popped up to her flip flopped covered feet. “The next time I see you I’ll make you 25 million dollars richer than you already are.”

“And I’ll make you the proud owner of thousands of cut and uncut diamonds.” I stared into her pretty eyes.

“Yes indeed.” Quiana winked her approval of my comment.

~Get Ready

“Look Mack, I can’t keep havin’ these pep talks with you every other day. I told you from the gate I can handle the job. All you need to do is have my money ready.” Jax clenched his jaw as he stood in the back store room of a sex store.

The owner looked up from his desk nonchalantly at Jax. It was two hours before the store opened, so they were the only people in the building.

“Do you know a woman named Quiana Satchell?”

“Naw, I never heard of her,” Jax gruffed.

“Well I have, and she
’s the real deal. She hired that Tyce cat and his crew.”

“So!” Jax threw his hands up. “Why is everybody trippin’ over this nigga? He bleeds too! He ain
’t shit compared to me! I’ve been doin’ this shit for years! I’ma vet Mack!”

Mack leaned back in his oversized leather chair. “So
, why did he catch you off guard at the Omni? And in your own room of all places. Why don’t you admit you underestimated him and put your pride in your front pocket for a minute?”

Jax’s nostrils flared as he stood in front of the desk. He
knew that Mack was right, but more importantly he knew he had to eat a piece of humble pie to ease Mack’s mind.

“Alright. I admit I took Tyce lightly when I first heard about him. That was my mistake.”

“You bet your ass it was. If the kid wanted to he could have killed you, Bishop, and my niece Rachael. I can’t have my sister’s only child laying in a casket cuz you slipped up. I need you to focus and get me those diamonds Jax. I’m like you, I don’t give a rat’s ass about Tyce or anybody else. I have complete faith in you. I know you can pull it off. So just do what you do, but do it better than him that’s all.”

Jax folded his arms. “I got my end tied up, so now it’s time to ask you some questions.”

“Shoot.” Mack adjusted his prescription glasses.

Jax smiled. “You’re not the only one who pays for information. My sources told me there’s a new buyer involved who’s willing to pay quite a bit more for the case than anybody else is. And I was wondering…”

Mack ran his stubby fingers through his short frosted tipped hair. “You can stop right there. I know where you’re going with this and the answer is no. We agreed on your cut months ago and I don’t renegotiate based on new money. There is a new buyer involved and I will sell him the case for a higher price…but you’ll still get the same deal that we agreed upon. No more no less. What I sell the stones for is my business and what you steal them for is your business. Are we clear?”

“Yeah
, we clear. I get it, no raise. It’s all good. You can’t blame a brother for trying though.” Jax grinned.

“Well if you didn’t I would really be disappointed. A man should always try to max out his opportunities in life. That’s why I already made a deal with the new buyer before anybody else could. Now, is there anything else you need from me?”

Jax shook his head. “Naw Mack, I’m good from here.”

“Good and like I said,
do what you do, but do it better than him.”

“I got it.” Jax nodded and walked away.

As he opened the back door and stepped into the alley, he spotted Rachael smoking a cigarette. She was just where he had left her 20 minutes ago before his morning meeting with Mack. Despite his romantic feelings for her, he still treated her no different than anybody else when it came to business. He opened the door to his black Hummer and climbed up into the passenger seat, taking the time to look over at Rachael. She flipped her lengthy hair over her shoulder as she blew a cloud of smoke out the open window.

“How’d it go baby?” She held her arm out of the window.

Jax chose to ignore her question and get to his point. “Never mind that. Look, the next time you run your mouth to your uncle about what the fuck happens in our circle, I’ll break your fuckin’ jaw you understand me?”

Rachael blinked slowly after hearing the tone in which he made the violent threat.

“Okay, I’m sorry for doing that. It won’t happen again.” She dropped the half smoked cigarette on the asphalt behind the huge chrome 24 inch wheel.

Jax pointed at her solemn face. “Good, cuz you don’t have to act like a fuckin’ reporter for action news. You need to worry about Angelique and not gettin’ your ass kicked again. Now
, let’s go.”

Rachael started the engine roughly, slammed the gear shift into D, and sped off a little too fast down the narrow alleyway. She was pissed about the Angelique comment.
Every ounce of her being wanted to get a rematch with her new enemy. And that time she would finish what she started in that parking garage.

~Still Daddy

I didn’t get off on killing people. Truthfully, I never clipped anybody that didn’t deserve it. Cancer, aids, diabetes, and any other life threatening disease were to slow for my taste. I couldn’t just let go and let God when it came to the niggas in the streets that violated me or mine. I had to dead them quick, clean, and fast when they pushed me. If
I didn’t live by that code, I wouldn’t have made it past the age of 18, let alone live to see 27.

However, taking care of my business for a living was my part time job now. My full time lifelong occupation was being a daddy to Khari. So, despite my busy schedule and an upcoming multi-million dollar heist on the horizon, I pushed the pause button to go with Angelique to my daughter’s doctor’s appointment. It was just a routine well baby check
, but nonetheless, I made it a point to show up to make sure my baby girl was healthy.

I walked into the sherbet orange patient room with my red 49ers hat covering the deep waves in my hair. I rocked buck skin colored shorts, a simple snug red T-shirt, and of course some limited edition red and tan Jordan’s with the proper socks riding low. I kept my outfits simple and I still stunted on niggas that spent their rent money on one outfit at the Crenshaw Mall.

As I took my seat next to Angelique, I noticed the way she was looking me up and down. I gave Khari a kiss on her chubby cheek and squeezed her tiny thigh gently.

“Can I have one of those too?” Angelique tapped the side of her face with her forefinger.

I took off my hat and sat it on the seat next to me. “Ohhhh, you feelin’ left out?” I leaned over and pecked her cheek.

“Yes
, I am and thank you very much.” She poked her bottom lip out in a fake pout. “I was starting to think you didn’t like me anymore.”

I smiled at her. “I don’t always like you
, but I will always love you.”

Angelique shifted Khari from one thigh to the other. She had a surprised look on her face and her mouth was slightly open.

“You still love me?” Her arched eyebrows rose up a bit.

“Of course I do.”

She bit her bottom lip nervously. “Are you still in love with me?”

I opened my mouth to speak, and the door opened at the same time. In walked Khari’s pediatrician with a bright green folder in her hand.

“Hello Angelique, how are you Tyce?”

I responded in kind
, but Angelique was silent.

“I’m good Dr. Gent.”

“That’s good to hear. And how is little Miss Khari doing today?” The doctor shook her patients’ small hand playfully. “You can sit her on the table mom.”

Angelique finally snapped out of her own world and fell back into mother mode. I could tell she wanted to talk about the conversation we had before the doc interrupted my words, but it was not the ideal time for that. I was internally grateful for the untimely intrusion, because honestly I didn’t want to answer her question. The whole shit had caught me off guard.

After the appointment was over, Angelique and I stood by her Jaguar in the parking lot. I held Khari in my arms while she stood in front of me looking like she just came from a photo shoot for Maxim magazine. Her cleavage was pumping, and her ass was calling my name through her thigh hugging leggings. Her low cut T-shirt ended just north of her round hips so her entire backyard was in full view.

“Did you wear that outfit cuz you knew you were comin’ to see me?”

“What?” She sucked her teeth.

“You heard me. I didn’t stutter.”

She waved me off. “Anyway, I wanna talk to you about somethin’.”

I looked at Khari as she drank apple juice from her sippy cup. “Did you see how your mom jus’ swerved to avoid my question? Did you see that baby girl?” I chuckled at Angelique. “I’ll let you slide for now…so wasup? What do you wanna talk to me about?”

Angelique suddenly got real serious. Whatever it was she wanted to discuss with me was not a laughing matter. I could tell from knowing her over the years when something was bothering her, and something was definitely on her brain.

She took a deep breath and exhaled sharply. “I don’t want this to turn into an argument or anything like that. So I jus’ wanna make that clear before I say what I have to say.” She put one finger in the air.

“Alright, I’m cool.” I reassured her.

She nodded her head slowly. “Good, I know you’re a grown man and you’re jus’ as stubborn as I am
, so I’m not gonna try to change your mind about this job. You’re the best at what you do and I jus’ want you to be extra careful.” She placed her palm on my chest. “I know you feel it. I can tell. You know this shit is different. If you’re gonna do this…and I know you are, regardless of who or what tries to get in your way…I need you to listen to your intuition. Expect the unexpected, cross your T’s and dot your I’s. Make sure you cover all possible angles and plan for the shit you can’t see or control. You understand?”

This time I nod
ded my head slowly. “I gotchu.”

“Good. I know you have to run
, so I’ll take Khari with me.”

“Alright.” I handed our baby over to her. “Ay, you never told me what happened in the parking garage with Rachael after she shot at you.”

Angelique’s lips twisted up. “Oh, I was posted up next to her car waiting for Sway when she popped up outside the window. And like he told you, she shot at me four times. By the way I’ma need you to hook my car up like you did yours. I love those bullet proof windows. Anyway, after she emptied the gun I hit her with the car door and we started fighting. The crazy bitch tried to snatch me bald, but I put a stop to that shit.”
