Lacey arched her back giving him better access to her breasts. A soft moan escaped her lips as his teeth nipped lightly at her nipple. Her hands became frantic, attempting the remaining button on his shirt. There seemed to be too much clothing between them. She
needed
to feel his flesh against hers;
needed
to massage the muscles of his chest and shoulders.

The button came free as his mouth made its way to her other breast. Her fingers traced the contours of his muscles first in his shoulders, then making their way downward. The feel of his lips, sucking on her hardened nipple was sending tremors through her, causing her body, her pussy to ache for him.

"You smell so sweet Lacey," Nigel whispered as his mouth left her breast and worked it way back up her neck to her lips. "And so beautiful."

His hand on the back of her head pulled it back down to his roughly. His lips claimed hers with increased passion. Her hips rocked against his groin, the clothing between them making it sweet agony.

"Hold on," he growled, lust thick in his voice, as he reluctantly pulled his lips from hers. She looked down at him, confused.

"Hold on?" She found herself asking, slightly breathless as she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck. Her breasts were pushed up tight against his chest.

He smiled at her and nodded. Excitement raced through her veins when she saw the raw hunger in his eyes. She'd never had a man so wild with lust, it was as if he was straining not to devour her.

A squeal of shock and delight came from Lacey as Nigel stood with her clinging tightly to him, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck and legs around his waist. Lacey buried her face in his neck, her tongue teasing as it made it way up and across his strong, chiselled jaw.

With no apparent effort, which deeply impressed Lacey, Nigel carried her to the doorway leading to his apartment. She'd never felt so safe and secure with
anyone
as she was with him at that moment.

Opening the door he carried her into his pitch black apartment. The music from the club was muffled in here as well. Lacey blinked a number of times, trying to get her eyes to adjust to the dark, but it didn't help. She was as good as blind.

Nigel kept moving, deeper into the apartment. He seemed unconcerned by the fact that there was virtually no light. Lacey clung tighter to him as she felt him manoeuvre around what she presumed was furniture in his path.

She felt him pause and open yet another door. This room was as dark as the rest, but he seemed to know exactly where he was going. Moments later she found herself falling, with Nigel falling with her.

She let out a startled yelp as she landed, on her back, on what she presumed - by the softness under her - to be his bed. Nigel's body lay over hers, but he seemed to have braced himself for the fall, catching himself with a hand at each side of her head before fully crushing her. His lips claimed hers, his mouth hot and hungry on hers, his tongue forcing its way between her teeth.

With a satisfied sigh, Lacey allowed him access to her. She spread her legs wider, allowing his body to push up tighter against hers. The bulge contained within his pants, brushed roughly against her groin. She wanted this man more than she'd wanted anyone!

His touch seemed to set her body on fire.

Thoughts began to run through her head
. I shouldn't be doing this. I should be getting
an interview from him. But god he feels so good! Just a little while longer.
Her hands caressed his smooth back, her fingers following the lines of the hard muscle.
It's been so
long, too long. A little while longer with him wouldn't hurt. Would it?

Suddenly, Nigel pulled away from her. She reached out for him, but only grasped onto air.

"Don't move," she heard him tell her, his deep sexy voice coming from somewhere to the left of her. She did as she was told and stayed put. Where would she go? She couldn't see a blasted thing. If she did get up to walk around she'd be likely to trip over an ottoman and sprain an ankle, or worse!

A faint flicker of light emerged from where she had heard his voice. Turning her head to the light she saw him standing next to what appeared to be a floor to ceiling bookcase.

He had lit a single tea light candle and was in the process of lighting a second. She could smell the faint scent of roses drifting towards her. A second candle was lit and finally a third before he came back to her.

Nigel stepped in front of her. Taking a knee in each hand he gently spread her legs so he could step in between them. "I don't want you to do anything you're not completely comfortable doing, Lacey," he stated falling to his knees between her leather clad legs.

His hands grasped each side of her hips and he pulled her down to him so her legs straddled his chest.

Leaning over, Nigel kissed her stomach tenderly, while his hands worked on bringing her nipples to hardened peaks once again. His lip dropped lower, over her belly button, depositing kisses and continued their quest lower still.

As if anticipating him, her pussy bucked against his chest. She could feel the wetness between her legs as desire rocked through her body. She craved to feel his mouth drop lower. She wanted his lips on her clit, his tongue dipping into her. She wanted it more than just about anything at that moment. The real reason why she had come here, and the questions she needed to ask him, seemed to dissolve from her mind. All that mattered was the feelings he was generating within her at that very moment.

"I need to taste you Lacey," he whispered between licks and kisses.

Lacey moaned. She pushed his head down lower, giving him his answer. He frantically undid the snap and zipper on her pants and pulled them down and off her. Because of the tightness of the pants Lacey had refrained from wearing underwear.

"Fuck. Soft and shaved. You're driving me wild, woman."

Nigel parted her legs further giving him better access to her. The cool air of the room tickled her moist pussy, causing a shiver to run through her body, partly from the chill, partly from the anticipation. She needed him now! Needed
it
. "Please," she whispered.

A soft chuckle came from him, as his tongue licked her slit. Her groin bucked against his mouth. Impatient, Lacey grasped the back of his head and brought his mouth down to her moist heat.

Again, another soft chuckle. It was sheer torture of the sweetest kind.

His fingers slipped between her pussy lips and parted them, exposing her quivering nub. He sucked tenderly on her clit, into which he slid two fingers, penetrating deep within her.

Lacey closed her eyes and sighed, allowing herself to bask in the feel of his teasing tongue and expert fingers. Back arched she bucked against his mouth and hand as he brought her close to the brink.

"Play with your breasts for me Lacey," Nigel requested removing his fingers from her depths. His tongue replaced his fingers licking up her juices. She did as he asked of her, lifting and massaging her generous mounds, rolling her hardened nipples between her fingertips.

Her body seemed to vibrate as his fingers taunted and teased her clit. The pressure and pleasure intensified. She was so close to the brink. His tongue danced and teased, as his fingers stroked her.

"My god Nigel!" she gasped as a wave overtook her. Her body shook then relaxed as her juices spilled into his mouth. She released a relieved, satisfied sigh, as she urged him to move up onto her.

He licked her dry before giving into her request. As he began to remove his shirt there was a sound in his office. Someone moving around.

"Nigel," a male voice called out.

"Who's that!" Lacey demanded, panicked. Where was her clothing? Oh god, she couldn't remember. So wrapped up in him, she'd couldn't even remember where all the pieces had been discarded. What the hell was she doing here? This was so unlike her. Oh my...

Nigel groaned, clearly disappointed. "We're in here," he called back, seemingly not concerned that she was lying naked on his bed. Standing, Nigel went to what appeared to be a closet, and opened it. Pulling out a blanket he brought it over to her. "You can cover yourself with this until we find your clothes."

Frantically, Lacey wrapped the blanket around her just as a dark-haired man with a lean build entered the dimly lit room.

How the
hell
did he manoeuvre through the series of rooms without any light?

"What do you need Travis?" Nigel asked, as he sat on the bed, partially blocking Lacey from the stranger s view.

Lacey peeped around Nigel's shoulder to eye the man, while ensuring the blanket was secure around her.

"Oh. Ya. Ummm. Sorry to interrupt Nigel." Travis said, slightly embarrassed.

Well that makes two of us
. Lacey wasn't sure how she felt about the fact Nigel didn't seem the least bit uncomfortable with the situation. Of course, why would he be uncomfortable, this was most likely a nightly thing for him.

"What is it, Travis?" he asked again, impatience creeping into his voice.

"We have something of a critical situation requiring your attention," came the reply.

Nigel let out a loud sigh, "Can't it wait? I'm somewhat busy right now."

"No. Not really. We need your assistance. I can have Trinity and Franny take your..." he paused as if trying to come up with an appropriate word, "...company home."

Humph! Nice save buddy
, Lacey thought ruefully.

When Nigel hesitated Travis added, "You're going to want to handle this yourself."

Nigel nodded. "Okay, give us a few minutes."

Chapter 4

"Of course; I'll go get the girls and we'll wait for you in your office." Travis turned and left the bedroom.

Frustrated, Nigel brought his hands to his temples and tried to fight off the headache that was threatening to develop. More stress and more nonsense. He knew exactly what Travis wanted. Someone had gone and got himself or herself killed by a vampire.

Chances are one of the staff found the body either somewhere in the club or out back in the alleyway.

Casualties normally came from one of two scenarios. A human had gotten themselves either drunk or wrecked on some sort of drug and unknowingly decided to pick a fight with a vampire. Needless to say, it would not exactly be a fair fight. The vampire would have simply left the human's drained body wherever it dropped. Most didn't give Nigel the courtesy of being discreet about it.

The second possibility was that a vampire was getting a little too frisky with a human, things spiralled out of control and next thing they knew the vamp was standing over a dead human corpse. Regardless of what he was about to face, he needed to get Lacey as far away from the club as possible, without her feeling as though she was being brushed off.

"Stay here a minute, I'll grab your clothes from my office," Nigel stated pushing himself off the bed and heading for the door.

"I can stay here. Or go with you. I don't mind," she offered as he exited the room.

Nigel stopped and turned to her, watching as she wriggled her way off the bed and cautiously made her way across the room to him.

Smiling to himself, he walked to the bed and snatched up a few articles of her clothing.

She was too insistent on following him to remember them, he supposed. "It's better if we do as Travis says and I send you home." Placing a hand under her legs, he lifted her up into his arms.

"I'm a big girl I can take care of myself," she stated hotly, mockingly as he carried her through the pitch black apartment, making his way to his office.

A grin touched his lips. Her personality was proving to be as fiery as her long silken hair. And he was loving every second of it. "If Travis is calling me to attend to a matter, then I would prefer to send you home. I'm certain he just needs me to investigate a missing case of wine or something. He tends to exaggerate and blow things out of proportion on a daily basis."

He opened the door to his office and walked through the archway. Lacey squinted momentarily as her eyes adjusted to the light in the office. He walked to the sofa and gently laid her on it. He passed her clothing to her.

"Well if it's nothing then I can just hang out with friends until you are free. If you're busy the rest of the evening, that's not a problem. Not a big deal, really," Lacey shrugged as she quickly began to get dressed.

Why was she pushing this?
Nigel could hear her heart beating rapidly within her chest.

She was anxious or scared. She pretended to be nonchalant about the whole ordeal, but if she really was so unconcerned why the anxiety? She was lying. She had to be. She
wanted
to be around to find out what was going on. The question was, why?

"I think it would be best if your friends are taken home as well. I'll give the girls the company limo to take you all to your respective homes." He sat down on the ottoman, directly in front of her as she buttoned her shirt over the breasts he loved. He wished he d had more time with her tonight. The taste of her in his mouth lingered. His cock twitched in his pants, as he ran his tongue over his lips.

Lacey finished with her blouse and looked him straight in the eye. Her emerald eyes looked deeply into his, as if she was trying to read him. She finally heaved a loud sigh.

"Fine. Have it your way," she spat, standing up.

Whoa. Wait. What! What just happened here?
She seemed angry. At
him
? What had he done? Surely she didn't think he was intentionally trying to ditch her? How could he have known Travis would need him? Nigel placed a hand on her arm, stopping her from getting up fully from the sofa. He urged her back down and she reluctantly obliged, while eyeing him suspiciously.

Nigel sighed. Women!

"Look Lacey." He took her hands in his; bringing them up to his mouth he flipped them over and kissed their palms, his lips grazing the sweet, warm flesh. "I wish I could spend the rest of the night with you. I just can't. I have matters to attend to. But I want to see you again. I can leave instructions with the doorman to let you and your friends in tomorrow night if you wish. We can pick up where we left off, or simply spend the evening together, getting to know each other better."
