“Oh, I am. Believe me. If you won’t join me, I’m sure Linnea will.”

She swatted him again, but this time she was giggling, and he pushed her down onto the bed, kissing her everywhere, making her giggle more.

“I’m going to do this until you’re actually happy about it,” he warned, kissing her belly again.

“All right, already, I give,” she said, when she was laughing so hard that her cheeks had turned a bright, rosy red, and they were both out of breath. “I’m happy.”

THE END

A Note From the Author

Dear Readers,

Thank you so very much for coming along on the journey of The Dusk Gate Chronicles with me. I have very much enjoyed hearing from all of you, and sharing these stories with you.

Blooms of Consequence ends the “main” story that began with Seeds of Discovery. I originally planned for it to really be the last book. However, during the writing of the books, some of the characters spoke to me, and at some point want their stories to be told.

One of those stories was the tale of Quinn’s first “winter” as queen – about seven “moons” after the end of Blooms of Consequence. It’s a sweet little novella I never intended to write, but it happened. It’s available now, wherever e-books are sold.

A Christmas Rose, Book Four and One Half in The Dusk Gate Chronicles

After the novella, I started hearing “voices” (okay, and questions from readers) about some of the characters left behind in Bristlecone – some of their stories were strong enough to explore and begin a new “chapter” of The Dusk Gate Chronicles. Continue the story in:

Canes of Divergence, Book Five in The Dusk Gate Chronicles

And an all-new story, coming in 2014: Leaves of Revolution

did
get to go for a visit to Bristlecone.  I never, ever, use my newsletter list for spam, but I do occasionally send out prizes, especially Dusk Gate swag, to readers just for being part of the list.
