Text with John C.

you don't love me

wtf? THAT'S what you have
to say? i've been fucking
FREAKING OUT.

why

because going back to
acting is your version of
suicide.

suicide is my version of suicide

is that supposed to be a
joke?

stop telling me you love me.

fine.

you don't even know me

what the hell?

you know me knowing you.

Important Things

I've grown pretty sure

that I am two-thirds cliche.

One-third girl. Or you.

Pretty Things

I sat still. You tore

us to pieces. I pictured

sweet photos of me.

Real Things

But, dear, the truth is

no one wants to hear these things.

Even me. Sorry.

Season 4
– Evanson's Betrayal, Jake's Behavior, And A Mystery Guest?

Posted by Alison K

September 9

As we're all aware by now, Ben Evanson is not who he says he is. The question is, who is he?

It looks like this question, at least, will finally be answered in the upcoming season of
Up Below
. Carl Casden has confirmed that he will be returning for at least seven episodes next fall, so we can look forward to a continuation of the Evanson arc and hopefully a more thorough examination of our favorite shady character.

Meanwhile, a recurring theme throughout
season
3 has been Jake behaving in untrustworthy ways. Likely there's something
up
his sleeve – perhaps a semi-permanent split from Tyler? Longtime fans of the show should be excited at the prospect of the leads getting some time apart and having the opportunity to develop as characters independent of each other!

The producers hint at an exciting guest star in an early episode of
season 4
.

Could this be someone we've seen before – perhaps Katherine Miller (Nicola) returning as a love interest for Tyler?

An Excerpt from
_EvenIf
's Journal Entry “
Mad World
," February 6th

The problem, he begins to figure out, is that everything is too fast except for the colors. While everything else races by, repeating, a flip-book coaxed one way and the other, back and forth, the same black and white people walking across a sketched street again and again, the colors drag and stall and mush together. Purple and orange combined do not make a color. Green and red. Mustard and magenta.

But today they do.

“I don't have names for the colors,” he says, because he doesn't know how to write it down. “Why won't someone tell me the names?”

Train
says a voice in his ear.
Turkeyball. Superman. These aren't colors.

Whatever you want, Jacob.

A few hours later fire starts grabbing him from both sides of his head. It snakes down his throat until it swells shut and kisses his cheeks with flames and whispers in his ear the colors of crab grass and the insides of seashells.

It's so hot, he is a melting popsicle, he is back and forth melting and drowning in himself, flipping back and forth, and it will never stop. He will sit on this floor and fire will shake him like a snow globe for the rest of his life.

He wants that to be a very short time.

Arms appear behind him, slide under his, pull him back against a chest.

I'll name whatever you want, Jake
, the voice says, the rough hands against his t-shirt say. He feels the pressure of a chin on top of his head and knows,
Tyler Tyler Tyler
. He knows a word.

“I'll give you whatever you want,” Tyler says. “Just stay.”
