Again,
he was split. His Dom expected her thanks, yet he also knew he had no way of
repaying her gift tonight.

“No
baby, thank you. That was amazing.”

She
sighed as she sat back in her chair and
rebuckled
her
seat belt. “You don’t have to
lie
, Patrick, I promise
I’ll get better.”

Patrick
stared at his beautiful young lover, dumbfounded. Was she seriously calling him
a liar?

He
threw the car into gear and arrived at her home within a minute, his heart
beating steadily against his ribs. He turned to her slowly.

“Simone,
I don’t lie. You were amazing and I don’t want you putting yourself down, do
you understand me?”

She
nodded and dropped her head down.

“Sorry.”
She grabbed her bag and began to open the door. “So I’ll see you sometime this
week?”

Ah,
now this was going to be a problem. He had decided something during the
afternoon that he hadn’t shared with her yet.

“Well,
actually, this week may be a problem. Could we catch up on Friday night?”

Simone
flinched as though he’d slapped her and he reached out to grab her hand. She
fought him a little, but he held onto it.

“I’m
sorry, I should be totally honest.”

She
relaxed a little, though the pain in her eyes was still there. Patrick took a
deep breath and ploughed ahead. She may be the inexperienced one, but he felt
as fresh as a newborn baby in this relationship.

“I
want to develop more of our relationship and it’s hard with the intensity of my
attraction to you. If we take the physical stuff out of it then we can talk
every day, if you’d like that?”

He
deliberately phrased it like a question, hoping that she would be more inclined
to agree. Either way, he wasn’t seeing her again ‘til Friday.

Her
eyes shimmered a little and she nodded. “Yes, I’d love that.”

She
leaned forward and kissed him gently and Patrick held himself back. She
couldn’t make love again even if he could rouse his body for the fourth time in
twenty four hours.

“Good
night then.” Simone whispered against his lips and slipped from the car.

Patrick
waited until she had stepped inside and locked the door. He put his head back
against the head rest and closed his eyes. He was in way over his head.

Chapter Four

Every day they talked and texted.
Simone looked
forward to her phone call every night and wished they could see each other
more. It seemed to her as if Patrick really did want a true relationship. And
he had been right in one thing—the distance was helping to develop more than
just the amazing sex they’d had.

They
talked about their parents, their childhoods, their favorite colors and their
dreams. It was wonderful, and Simone feared that she was more in love with him
than ever.

It
seemed forever until Friday arrived—club night—and once again Simone found
herself
inside Patrick’s BDSM club.

She
had dressed as he suggested, but worn gorgeous new red panties and a bra
underneath her somber back outfit.

He
had picked her up and while they drove over to the club, they had discussed his
need for a scene.

“Babe,
how would you feel about me doing a scene with a long-time friend?”

Her
panic had been immediate as her heart jumped up into her throat.
“Male or female?”

Patrick
reached over and gripped her hand in his. “
Male,
and
he’s straight. He has a Mistress, but she hasn’t been trained in some of the
things I do, so we often do scenes together.”

Simone
carefully considered her options as she looked down at her hands clenched in
her lap. Patrick was a Dom, he needed this. She couldn’t give him the more
extreme stuff, so how could she stop him from this if it was what he wanted?

Plus,
she would be there. It wasn’t about sex, though it made her crazy with jealousy
that she couldn’t be all he needed. A straight man wasn’t so bad, it would be
more like two friends playing a strange game of football, or something like
that.

“Okay,
I can handle that.”

So
now here she sat.
On the floor watching Patrick, her
Master,
at work.
That word still
sounded so strange, even inside
her own
head. She was
glad he had chosen a male sub to do a scene with tonight because she couldn’t
handle him being with any other females yet. The play was not sexual to
Patrick, but it was quite obvious that many of the
submissives
got a lot of sexual pleasure from the pain and power play.

“You’ll
never keep him you know.” A spiteful voice sounded behind Simone and she
flinched. Were they talking to her?

She
turned reluctantly away from the sight of Patrick and the St. Andrews Cross and
watched as an older woman approached. She was heavily made up and her breasts
weren’t real. Even so, she oozed sex appeal.

“Are
you talking to me?”

The
woman glared down at her and nodded. “Of course I was. You’re the only one
around here that doesn’t fit in.”

The
hairs on the back of Simone’s neck stood up and she clenched the fists tighter
in her lap.

“I
don’t think anyone asked your opinion.” Simone heard
herself
say. Where had that come from?

The
woman laughed and knelt down in front of Simone. “Look at you. You can’t even
sit correctly.”

Simone
straightened up immediately, remembering what Patrick had told her about her
posture.

“You
won’t keep Patrick, I’m telling you now. No one ever has. He comes back here
every week because he needs true submission, trust and love, and you don’t have
it in you to give it to him.”

Simone
pushed herself to her feet and the older woman quickly followed, scowling down
at her. She was almost six foot in the heels she wore and Simone found
herself
perversely planning on going shoe shopping as soon
as possible.

“You’re
just jealous because he wants me and not you.”

The
woman gave her the dirtiest look Simone had ever seen and turned to leave, but
put in one last shot before going. “You mark my words little girl, you aren’t
enough. And you know it.”

Simone
turned her back on the woman and concentrated on the scene in front of her.
Patrick was slowing down now and the man looked completely out of his own head.
It was an amazing thing to watch, but also quite strange.

Was
the woman right about her? Could she give Patrick everything he needed? She
could be his
girlfriend,
she had no qualms with that.
She could keep his home clean, entertain his friends, talk to him every night
and always keep him interested on an intellectual level. Or she would try her
best anyway. She was no slouch in the brains department and she was young.
Surely that counted for something?
But what about the submission?

The
sex they’d had the other night had been amazing, but the pain had been odd and
the fact that she had been tied up had scared her a little; and that was with
Patrick taking it very easy on her. Simone narrowed her eyes as she took a
closer look at the man Patrick was helping down from the cross. He was covered
in red welts and moaning like he was barely conscious.

Patrick
helped the Sub onto a chair, wrapped him in a towel, and bent down to whisper
to him. The Sub’s face was slowly coming back to normal and Patrick’s face was
alight with the most beautiful smile. Simone’s heart sank. She didn’t need
this, wasn’t even sure if she truly liked it. Could she give Patrick the
submission he needed? There was only one way to find out.

She
slipped to the bathroom and took her time. She would have to push for more, ask
him to share this side of himself with her. Surely it couldn’t be too hard?

Simone
stared at
herself
in the mirror. “You can do this.”

She
shook herself a little and went looking for Patrick.

He
was at the bar getting a couple of bottles of water. His face brightened as
soon as she approached. “Where did you get to?”

She
smiled and pressed up against his side.

“Just the bathroom.”

She
leant forward and whispered into his ear. “Can we go home and play together
now?”

Patrick
twisted around and looked at her, is eyes searching as he nodded slowly.

“Yes,
let’s go.”

He
grabbed the water and they headed out of the black rooms with the colorful red
doors.

Simone
was grinning by the time they got in the car and were heading home. She loved
how much he wanted her. Why else would he leave the club so quickly?

“So,
what’s going through that beautiful head of yours, baby girl?”

Simone
smiled and turned to look at her lover.

“I’ll
explain when we get home. You’re really amazing to watch, you know that?”

Patrick’s
cheeks flushed pink and Simone laughed. Her big bad Dom was blushing?
Incredible.

“I’m
glad you think so, baby.”

Patrick
picked up her hand that lay idly in her lap and pulled it up to his mouth for a
kiss.

“I’ve
missed you this week.”

Flutters
of excitement coursed through Simone’s belly and chest, lighting her up from
the inside.
“Good, because I missed you too.”

She
reached forward and turned the music up on the radio. They sat together happily
listening to 80s rock for only two songs and they were home.

“Let’s
go.” Simone jumped out of the car and heard Patrick’s chuckle behind her.

He
stepped ahead and unlocked the door, the familiar calm environment soothing
Simone.

“So,
tell me why you rushed me home Simone.”

Simone
stepped close and inhaled the faint musky scent of Patrick’s skin, sweat and
leathers.

“Will
you show me your play room?” Patrick had told her during the week about his
play room, his dungeon. She was both terrified and excited to see it.

Patrick’s
blue eyes widened, and he grabbed her by the ass and hauled her close. Simone
gasped and wrapped her fingers around his huge biceps to give her an anchor.

“You
know I want to, but I think it’s too soon.”

Simone
moaned and pressed
herself
closer.

“Please
Patrick. I want you to show me what it’s really like.
The
pain and the pleasure.”

Patrick
shook his head. “You aren’t ready for it, Simone.”

Simone
heard his words and knew they were probably true, yet she could see the
excitement in his eyes.

“Please,
sir. I trust you.”

That
did the trick because Patrick groaned and grabbed her by the hand. He tugged
and she followed him down the hallway, where he opened one of the doors she had
assumed was a bedroom.

He
flicked a light switch and a soft glow filled the room. Simone took a deep
breath and stepped in, gasping aloud when she saw what the room contained.

It
looked like a room straight out of the club. A bench, a cross, cages full of “toys.”

Simone
suppressed her shudder and turned toward her “Master.” She could do this, she
was certain of it. There was no way the woman at the club was right.

Patrick
flexed his shoulders. “You’re one hundred per cent sure about this?”

Absolutely not!
Simone nodded,
“Yes, I trust you.”

“You
remember your safe words?”

Simone
nodded again, her heart hammering in her chest. “Yes.
Yellow
and red.”

Patrick
nodded and pointed to the spanking bench.

“Remove
your clothes, but keep your underwear on. Bend over the spanking bench and grab
your ankles.”

Simone
inhaled sharply, fear slicing through her. She was waiting for the excitement
to follow, but there wasn’t much of that.

It
didn’t matter. This was more for Patrick than herself. He gave her so much of
what she needed, and she wanted to be able to give him the same.

Simone
stripped off her top, skirt, and boots. She shivered as she looked at the
spanking bench. That thing looked scary as hell and would make her completely
vulnerable to anything Patrick wanted to do to her. She supposed that was the
point.

A
hard tap on her bum made her yelp and jump. “I don’t like waiting, pet.”

Simone
hurried over to the bench and bent forward to grab her ankles, her face
flushing with mortification. This was just embarrassing.

“I’m
sorry, sir.”

Patrick
squatted down and used silk scarves to tie her wrists to her ankles.

“How
does that feel? Not too tight?”

Simone
shook her head and Patrick smiled at her. “Use words Simone, you aren’t gagged.
Not yet anyway.”

Simone’s
belly heaved at the idea of being gagged. Why wouldn’t he want her to talk? How
horrible could this really be? “No ... they feel fine.”

She
took a deep breath and closed her eyes to try to remain calm. This wasn’t fun
and she wasn’t sure she could stay in this position for very long. She already
wanted to get up, get away from this.

“My
job is to find out where you boundaries are, pet, but you must let me know
also. Talk to me.”

Simone
shivered as Patrick laid a calming hand on her lower back. What would he say if
he knew that she
was hating
this? Would he stop, or
worse, would he be disappointed in her?

She
cleared her throat. “What are you going to do with me, sir?”

Patrick
stroked down her spine and then up again. It was lovely, soothing, and Simone
relaxed a little under it. “I’m going to see if you like a little pain with
your pleasure.”

He
walked away and Simone forced
herself
to take another
breath. She trusted Patrick, she had to.

“You
have the most gorgeous ass, Simone and I want to see it nice and pink from my
paddle. We’re going to count to ten, all right?”

Simone
nodded and got a sharp smack to her ass in reprimand. It stung like crazy but
she forced the words out. “Yes, sorry. Yes.
Sir.”

There
was a whistling sound, followed by a smack to her ass by the paddle. It stung
and made her feel humiliated. Her face flushed with blood and she bit her lip.

He
swung it again and she whimpered. She couldn’t do this, oh my God, how was she
going to keep him if she couldn’t even do this?

Simone
tensed for the next one, holding her breath, her muscles shaking with the need
to escape.

Then
she felt Patrick’s hand soothing her and a sob escaped her. He’d stopped, thank
God.

He
bent down and released her wrists. Relief swamping her, she helped him free her
ankles. Simone saw stars as the blood rushed up to her head. Her belly tight
with dread, she looked up at her lover, confused and terrified of what was
about to come.

Patrick’s
face was grim but, his hands were kind as they cupped her chin. Tears filled
her eyes as her heart shattered inside her chest.
