Chapter
Six

Simone walked into Patrick’s club for the third time in two
weeks, yet this was the first time that she knew why she was there. She was
there to get Patrick back and to offer herself to him.

She wanted him—all of him—and she wasn’t afraid anymore.

She wore a brand new black and pink corset that made her feel
sexy and feminine. Her breasts were pushed up so that they were almost over
spilling the cups, but again they just proved to make her feel good. Nicola
signed them in and Simone made a mental note to find out how to become a
member. She didn’t want to continue to just be a guest. If this was going to be
her life then she was embracing it, wholeheartedly.

Nicola grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the door. “Are you
sure about this?”

Simone nodded, never more sure of anything in her life. “He
won’t hurt me, I know he won’t.”

Nicola smiled brightly and grabbed her hand, tugging her along
the hallway. The familiar black walls greeted her, squeezing her like an
intimate hug. The heat and the rhythmic music made her want to dance, but there
was only one person she would be dancing for.

Nervous energy buzzed through her, needles prickling along her
skin. Her breath caught in her chest, almost causing her to gasp from the pain
and she stopped Nicola just before they entered the room.

She was scared again, but not of the same thing this time. “What
if he’s doing a scene with another woman?”

Nicola turned to her with a hard look in her eye. “Then he’s
just doing a scene. He’s a good Dom, Simone, and people line up to play with
him. But you are the one he wants in his bed and in his life. You have to
remember that and accept him for every facet, not just the bits you like.”

Properly put in her place, Simone clenched her teeth and nodded
again. No matter what she saw when she entered this room, she would not stop in
her plan.

They stepped through the red door and Simone spotted Patrick
instantly, leaning up against the wall talking to one of the other
Doms
. Relief flooded her so swiftly that she almost sagged
against the wall. Despite all her big talk, she wasn’t sure she would have been
able to handle seeing Patrick touching another woman.

Belly tight with anticipation, and a little fear, Simone forced
her legs to move forward until she was standing in front of him. Patrick looked
up and his mouth opened in wordless question, his surprise obvious.

Simone dropped to her knees, hands behind her back, spine
straight and looked up,
waiting
for Patrick. She was
calm somehow, despite her fear. She trusted him and that was enough.

He straightened and his lips twisted in a knowing smile.

“Are you here to play, my pet?”

Simone swallowed and thought carefully before speaking.

“I’m here for you, sir.
Whatever your pleasure
is.”

Simone watched Patrick swallow before putting out a hand to
caress her cheek. She leaned into it and continued to stare into his eyes.

“I think a private room is needed.” Patrick turned to his friend
who nodded.

“I’ll observe Patrick. You can have the purple room.”

Patrick nodded and held a hand out to her. She gripped it and
moved to her feet, surprised how fluid she was considering how shaky her legs
were.

Patrick put a hand in the small of her back and guided her down
the hallway, the weight and warmth of his hand comforting in the darkness. He
stepped closer and whispered in her ear.

“I’m so glad you are here my pet.”

So
am
I.
Simone gasped as she
stepped into the purple room. How many toys did a person need? The walls were
lined with floggers, canes, paddles, even a whip.

“Stand against the cross with your face down.” Patrick told her
and she move blindly forward. She trusted Patrick. Now was the time for action,
no more empty words.

Simone pressed
herself
to the wood of
the cross and put her arms out wide. Closing her eyes, she surrendered control
and breathed a huge sigh of relief.

****

Patrick caught his breath on a gasp. She was so beautiful and
fearless. Offering him what she knew he needed. What an amazing woman.

He used the handcuffs attached to the cross and clipped her in,
slipping a finger in between the metal and her skin to make sure they weren’t
too tight.

Then he bent and spread her legs, enjoying the feel of her soft,
supple body, and running his hands up and down her bare skin.

“I didn’t think you did that.” Simone’s surprised words made
Patrick smile so he clipped her ankles in the cuffs and gave her a playful tap
on her delicious ass. The corset she had chosen was just
perfect,
he would be buying her the same style in every color.

She gasped at the contact and he bent close to whisper in her
ear, pressing his erection into her ass.

“You are mine, Simone. The rules have changed.”

She gave a shaky laugh and tried to turn her head to see him. He
would have blindfolded her if they knew each other better, but that would come
in time. It would be a slow process, but one that was worth doing.

“Tonight I’m going to show you the pleasure that you can get
with an alternate sensation. A soft flogger will sting and warm, and then the
glove will soothe you. Remember to tell me if you need a break.”

Simone relaxed and her whole body went limp. Yes! That was it!

Patrick began to flog her, listening to her gasp as he hit her
over and over again, then used the soft lamb’s wool glove over her red skin.
Then he started again.

She was swaying her hips a little and her eyes were closed. She
was trembling a little, but her breathing was fine.

His heart was drumming loudly in his
ears,
he could hear nothing but the sound of her breathing and his own.

He did five rounds with the flogger then used the glove for
twice as long. She arched her back a little, her ass, lower back and thighs red
from the sting of the leather, yet when she turned her head, her eyes were at
half-mast, drowsy with pleasure.

He stepped forward and pressed himself to her back, needing to
be close, wanting her to feel as cared for as he felt.

She was smooth skin and heat beneath him and he couldn’t wait to
get her home to pleasure her further. “You did so well my pet. Perfect.”

Simone moaned a little as her arms slid down and he rubbed them,
trying to ease the ache for her.

“Is that it, sir? Or would you like me in another position?”

Patrick undid the clips at her ankles and turned her around so
that she was facing him. She looked alert, but there was
a
sleepiness
to her. “Are you all right, Simone?”

She nodded and slipped her hands up to his neck. “Yeah, I just
feel a bit out of it.”

He grinned, knowing that his girl would enjoy so much more of
what he could offer her in the future, but for the meantime, her trust in him
alone was enough.

“Come, I will take you home.”

Simone nodded and leaned into him. He dressed quickly and
wrapped his jacket around her shoulders.

She was still swaying slightly when they got to the front door.

“Simone!” Nicola’s voice called out and they turned towards the
girl running towards them.

“It went well?” She gasped
out,
her
eyes darting over the way Patrick held Simone against him.

Patrick went to open his mouth but Simone beat him to it. “Very
well
hun
. I’ll call you tomorrow?”

Nicola lit up like a Christmas tree and bobbed her head in
farewell.

Patrick maneuvered Simone into the car where she sat still, her
eyes closed and her head back.

He didn’t know what to do, so he just drove her home, half-expecting
her to start yelling or crying, he didn’t know, and by the time they reached
his home, he didn’t care. He just wanted her to do something.

He slipped out of the car, went around to her side and helped
her out. She fell against him and he groaned, unable to hold it in. Was she in
shock? Had she really dropped down into Sub-space on her very first scene? That
dark, calm retreat inside their own
mind, that
most
submissives
finally achieved when they were in tune with
their Dom. Impossible.

She stayed still and quiet while he hustled her inside and
pulled her to his bedroom. Once there he stripped off his clothes and helped
her get her corset, skirt, and underwear off.

She came into bed with him willingly, yet she didn’t look at
him.

As he lay in the middle of his bed, he was the one who was ready
to beg. What had he done?

She moved closer and he pulled her closer. Although he thought
she may resist, she kept coming. Not happy just to lie against him, she slid on
top of him and settled so that her head was against his heart.

“I really enjoyed tonight. Thank you.”

Tears welled and clogged up Patrick’s nose and throat. He
wrapped his arms around her back and kissed the top of her head.

“I did too.”

His voice was a mere whisper and he cleared his throat loudly.

“Thank you for coming back to me, I … didn’t know if you would.”

Simone turned her head and kissed his chest, the touch of her
lips soothing to his battered heart.

“I love you …” Simone’s whisper stretched across the space,
filling him up with happiness, even as she grew heavier and slipped into sleep.

Patrick held her and closed his eyes. I love you too, played
across his mind, but he drifted off to sleep without saying it. Tonight she had
proved the old adage, “Actions speak louder than words.” It was time for him to
do the same.

Chapter Seven

The
following evening Simone found
herself
on the doorstep
of a very well-kept little house.

“What
are we doing here, Patrick?”

He
leaned around her and pressed the doorbell. “I want you to meet my parents.”

Simone
gasped. “What?”

She
heard someone moving towards the door and she glanced down at her clothes.
Black skirt, red top.
Not too much cleavage.
Crap!
She would have done her hair
better if she had known.

“You
should have told me!” She snapped at Patrick whilst inside she was so happy she
could barely breathe. He had brought her to meet his parents!

The
door swung open and an older woman with a short haircut and Patrick’s blue eyes
smiled at them.

“Patrick!
Come in, we were just about to serve.”

Patrick
opened the screen door and put a hand on the base of Simone’s spine. “Mom, this
is my girlfriend, Simone. Simone this is my mom, Sue.”

Sue’s
eyes widened and Simone forced a smile to her face. Patrick should have at
least warned his mother!

“It’s
so nice to meet
you,
I hope I haven’t inconvenienced
you …”

The
woman recovered quickly and stepped back, waving them inside.
“Oh no, not at all.
Come in!”

Simone
made her way inside, her senses buffeted by everything a good home always had.
Warmth, photos, and the aromatic smell of roast meat cooking in the oven.

“Come
through and sit down please. Simone, this is my husband, Ian.”

Simone
put out her hand to the man that stood quickly and reached out to her.
“Nice to meet you.”

He
nodded and smiled, the lines of his face deepening in happiness as he quickly
looked her over.
“Lovely to meet you.”

“I’m
just going serve dinner. Ian, please get Patrick and his girlfriend a drink.”

Ian’s
eyebrows rose as the word girlfriend resonated in the kitchen.

“Wine,
Simone?”

She
nodded and began walking after Sue. “Yes, please.”

She
stepped into the slightly out dated kitchen, full of knickknacks and photos.
“Can I help you, Sue?”

Sue
smiled at her and began dishing out the roast vegetables onto the plates.

“If you could take the bread and gravy
into the dining room that would be wonderful.”

Simone
nodded and looked at the large roast lamb in the oven tray. “Could I just have
extra potatoes, Sue? I don’t eat meat.”

Sue
glanced over at the lamb and grimaced. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know.”

Simone
picked up the bread basket and gravy boat, and turned back toward the dining
room. She hated making other people uncomfortable.

“Don’t
be silly, veggies and bread is perfect.”

She
stepped back into the dining room and placed the bread and gravy on the table.
The men both smiled at her and she felt the blood race to her cheeks.

“Here’s
your wine.”

Simone
smiled back and picked up her wine glass. Then she rushed back into the overly
warm kitchen.

Sue
had finished serving out the roast vegetables and now placed meat onto three of
the four plates. Simone smiled at her and took a sip of the rich red wine Ian
had poured for her.

“We’ve
never met anyone Patrick’s been dating. Have you been together long?”

Simone
choked on her wine and placed it down on the counter.
“Really?
Never?”

Patrick’s
mum shook her head and waited for an answer to her question.

Simone
swallowed, knowing that this was going to peak his mother’s interest even more.

“I
knew Patrick last year. He was one of my uni lecturers. But we only met again
last Saturday.”

His
mother’s eyebrows shot up comically high. “You’ve been dating for one week?”

Simone
nodded and placed her wine down on the bench as Patrick’s mother stepped forward
and hugged her. Simone held
herself
still for one
moment before letting the embrace soak in and comfort her. It felt like coming
home.

A
throat being cleared had them both turning. Patrick stood in the doorway
looking amused.
“Everything all right in here?”

Simone
nodded and pulled back, wiping the tear away that had gathered in her eye. “Of
course it is
,
why wouldn’t it be?”

Patrick
grinned and held out his hand. Simone stepped forwards and took it.

“Let’s
eat.” Sue announced and they all sat down to their family dinner.

****

Several
hours later, after too much food and a perfect amount of wine, Simone hugged
Sue goodbye. “Thank you so again for having me. It was really great to meet you
both.”

Sue
smiled and stepped back against her husband as Ian slipped a hand around her
waist.

“I’ll
look up some vegetarian meals for next time.”

Simone
flushed, her cheeks growing warm as she nodded and waved.

Patrick
guided her out the front door and closed it behind them.

Simone
turned toward him and wrapped her arms around his neck, unable to stop the
squeal that rose.

“I
can’t believe you brought me to meet your parents after only one week!”

Patrick
chuckled and pulled her closer.

“Last
night you proved to me how much you want this to work and I wanted to return the
favor. The trust goes both ways, baby.”

Simone lifted
her hands and stroked them through Patrick’s thick brown hair.

“So
you really do want me to be your girlfriend, friend, lover, and Sub?
All in one?”

Patrick
dropped a sweet, long kiss on her lips, warming her all the way down to the
tips of her toes.

“I
want everything you are, Simone and I promise to give you everything I am,
too.”

Simone
snuggled her head into the crook of Patrick’s neck and sighed happily.

“I’m
falling in love with you.”

She
closed her eyes as she waited for the reply. No matter what, she wouldn’t be
upset. If he needed time to feel the same way, then she would give it to him.

Finally,
after what felt like forever, standing there wrapped in his arms, Patrick bent
his head and whispered in her ear.

“Thank
God, because I’m falling in love with you too.”
