He let go of my neck and removed his hand
from my sex as suddenly as he’d started his assault. I trembled,
exhausted already, my upturned bottom burning. I heard the zipper
drawn down his pants, tooth by tooth.
And then Sean mounted me from behind. He
stretched my cheeks apart in both hands and drove himself deep
inside me, buried himself between my slick lips until he’d rooted
himself inside me and there he stayed for several long gasping
moments. I shuddered and rocked and clawed at the bedding,
fulfilled thoroughly my his invasion. He curled himself around my
curved body, one arm wrapping around my stomach and the other
balanced on the bed beside my shoulder. The scrape of his pubic
hair rough against my reddened ass.
He started moving, grunting as if in pain as
he pulled out to the ridge of his head before shoving himself back
in. Not once did he let go of his hold on me or straighten. He
dropped a kiss to the birthmark between my shoulder blades and took
up an aggressive rhythm.
“Little whore,” he rasped, driving forward
and out again. He arched and pushed up into me as I shuddered and
writhed soundlessly into his body.
I had no words for how fantastic my body
felt in his hands. He had a way of making me feel dirty and
gorgeous at the same time.
“Lay down.” He drove into me once more and
held still. He urged my hips to the bed with the weight of his own.
I dug my nails into the sheets and laid out flat. He pressed his
weight down into me, knees on either side of mine, cock still
buried to the hilt inside me. He lowered his face close to my neck,
breath hot and ragged in my ear. He wrapped one arm around my
mouth, silencing my voice into his forearm. His other rested
against my face, fingers wrapped into my hair. He captured me
completely in his strong arms. He rolled his hips in and out of me,
grinding and burying himself repeatedly in short, powerful thrusts.
His breathing labored, heavy and husky against my ear. I’d never
felt so overpowered by the strength of a man before, not by anyone,
and it felt terrifying and frantic at the same time. In moments I
was rolling my hips against the sheets and into him, helping him
work deeper, rubbing my swollen clit against the bed, feeling
perverse and voracious and not at all ashamed. That’s what time had
given me, shameless access to my own pleasure.
“You’re mine,” he panted, so low I could
barely hear him over his ragged breathing. “I own you, Kara. Be a
good girl and
take it
.”
I moaned wildly and shook as tiny bursts of
pleasure went off deep inside me until they were blinding in
strength, until I was jerking and bucking and coming with abandon.
He released the leverage he had on my mouth and hair and reached
for my hands, slid his fingers between mine and pinned them into
the mattress. I sucked in air, cried and whined in time with his
thrusts and kept coming in long, mind-blowing waves. He growled
between my shoulder blades and then released my hands, pulled
himself out, and came all over my back and buttocks.
He shuddered as if his muscles couldn’t
support him anymore, then crawled exhausted up the side of the bed
to kneel at my restrained hands. He unhooked the one beside him,
pushed it out of the way, and grabbed my hair in his first, not
aggressively but firmly. I turned my eyes up to his to see a half
smile and greedy blue eyes swallowing me up.
“Open your mouth,” he panted and I obeyed
gladly. He fed his softening cock into my mouth, the salty sharp
flavor of our mutual pleasure coating my tongue. I bobbed my head
with the last of my energy, cleaned him off before he pulled out.
He unhooked my collar and my other hand so that I could finally
collapse into the bed.
Sean stretched out on the bed beside me and
wrapped his arms around my waist to pull me into him. He spooned me
easily and nestled his mouth into the back of my neck.
“My beautiful girl,” he murmured into my
hair before we both slipped into a content and necessary sleep.
____________
Sean woke up first, so when I finally peeled
my eyes open, he was already mostly dressed and on the phone. The
sky was still dark and the clock next to the bed said it was a
little after ten. We’d been asleep for a couple of hours and my
body felt sore and happy.
“Hey,” he said when he clicked off the phone
and pocketed it. “I’m going to go out and grab some food. Help
yourself to the shower.”
“Why don’t we order in?” I rolled onto my
back and regretted it when I felt the soreness of my well-spanked
backside.
“Something’s happened at Zach’s office and I
need to be on the phone with him for a while. Don’t worry. I’ll be
back soon.” He crossed the room and alighted himself on the edge of
the bed. He leaned down and kissed my mouth sweetly. “Wish I could
join you for your shower. I’d like to help wash you. I remember you
enjoyed that.”
I smiled and snuggled my cheek into his
thigh. “I do enjoy that. Next time. I’m sure we can get me dirty
again when you get back.”
“Tease. Be good until I get back.” He smiled
and kissed my forehead before heading out. I counted in my head
until I heard the front door shut. His condo was way bigger than
mine. What was it about the men in my life having bigger places
than me?
I wondered what had happened at Zach’s
office as I clicked on the bathroom light and took a good solid
minute to be impressed by Sean’s private bathroom. Blue tile so
dark it was almost black tiled the floor and glass in light blue
and transparent grew up the walls. Where the transparent glass
tiles fell I could see a deeper, darker green-blue beneath. The
ceiling had a light bluish paint undulating across the expanse of
the room. There were several light switches by the door, and a
moment playing with them discovered a setting where the light
dimmed but shed waves of glossy white light serpentine over the
ceiling and high on the walls giving the impression of being
underwater. It was breathtaking.
I left the underwater setting on while I
inspected the shower, a tiled room of its own beyond the tub,
several jets on each wall and a small window. The jetted tub
screamed opulence, but I was eager to get cleaned up so I could
explore the rest of the apartment before Sean returned.
I tiptoed my bare feet across the room,
nabbed a fluffy white towel from the closet and hung it on a ring
outside the shower. The controls on the four jets required an
engineering degree to figure out, but I managed to get them
working. It was like bathing in the rain. Each jet was set at
different pressure settings so that my whole body felt massaged. I
could have moved into his shower and been a happy girl.
A noise from the main room startled my
thoughts. I rinsed the suds from my hair and clicked the water off
and strained to listen. It seemed too soon for Sean to be back, but
I could have sworn I heard…
something
. I had no idea
what.
I heard it again. Like a boot tapping on
tile. I smiled. Apparently Sean had changed his mind about ordering
in. Good.
I reached around the corner for my towel but
felt only cold tile against my fingers. I frowned and stepped out
of the shower room but my towel was gone.
A game? I didn’t know what it could be
unless he wanted to see me wet and naked. I crossed the room
carefully so that the water I dripped everywhere didn’t make me
slip. I opened the closet to get another towel.
The shelves were empty.
I jerked my hands from the closet door like
it might start on fire. I didn’t understand and this didn’t feel
funny to me. It didn’t feel like something Sean would do it
all.
I ran to the door and jerked it open but the
knob met resistance. Locked! I struggled with the knob and it gave
with a whine but not enough to open. I shook the door in its frame
as panic and adrenaline laced fear dumped into my blood stream.
“Sean!” I screamed and pounded my fist on
the door. Suddenly my nakedness felt too vulnerable, too exposed.
Water made the floor in front of the door slick and dangerous and I
couldn’t gain purchase when I shook and yanked at the door. It
rattled but didn’t give.
Someone had locked me in the bathroom.
On the other side something crashed to the
floor with such riotous noise I immediately jerked my hands back
from the door and took a wobbly step away from it. The second crash
followed a first and beyond the fragile bathroom door someone was
tearing Sean’s apartment to pieces.
Suddenly the locked door didn’t feel safe
enough either. In my panic I turned and slipped and crashed into
the tile floor, pain jarring my kneecaps up my thighs to my hips. I
cringed as I struggled to stand, but it was like trying to stand on
ice. Somehow I crawled over to the tub and wedged my body into the
space between it and the wall, as if that offered any protection at
all. Hiding in the little shower room made me feel nauseous - I did
not want to get trapped in there, even if out here was little
better.
The noises continued, one right after the
other. Drawers dragged from their moorings and dumped on the floor.
A lamp yanked from a wall. A picture crashed to the floor to break
into a million pieces. The sounds were worse and clasping my palms
against my ears gave me no relief. The throb of pain swelled my
right knee where the skin had split against grout and the edge of a
tile, my terror pumping blood down my wet shin, but I didn’t make
any effort to stop it. I had to shut out the sounds of
violence.
Something had happened at Zach’s office and
now something was happening at Sean’s home. That couldn’t be a
coincidence.
Minutes of chaos stretched into years and I
almost didn’t recognize the silence when it finally came. The
silence was worse. I didn’t know what the silence meant. Were they
gone? Were they waiting on the other side? Would they come for me
next?
And then in my panic I realized, they’d
already come for me. They’d been in the bathroom while I showered.
They’d crossed the room, stolen my towels, left me naked and
defenseless. Someone was terrorizing me on purpose.
Sean. If he walked in on them, what would
they do? But if he didn’t come home soon, who knows what else they
might do?
Hot tears welled in my eyes and I willed
myself not to cry, but I couldn’t help myself. I didn’t make a
sound though, other than my already panicked breathing. The hot
tears slid down my cheeks and fell to my knees pressed against my
chest, indecipherable from the water droplets on my skin.
A fist struck the bathroom door and I
screamed involuntarily before clamping a hand over my mouth.
Quiet, Kara. Be quiet. Let them leave. Don’t give them fuel to
keep going
.
But they didn’t keep going. The silence
settled over the condo and I felt the emptiness of the room beyond
this one. I heard nothing for ten minutes, twenty. Thirty. Where
was Sean?
Finally after I don’t know how long, I heard
voices in the apartment, then shouts. My name. I heard my name and
the pounding of boots on wood floor then muffled by carpet. I heard
the noise of debris being kicked out of the way and then hands on
the door.
Sean. Sean.
“Kara! Kara answer me now goddamn it!” The
door shook, the knob turned until it whined in defense. Fists like
sledgehammers broke against the wood and somehow, somehow I found
my strained voice.
“S-sean? Sean!”
“Open the door, Kara, it’s me. It’s me baby,
open the door.”
I squeezed out of my hiding spot, my
swelling knees and aching body complaining the whole way. I
couldn’t stand, could barely crawl.
“I can’t. It’s l-locked…”
“Look, Sean, something’s broken off in the
lock. We’ll have to break it down.”
“Move.”
Something slammed into the door on their
side, bent the wood in towards me. I crab-crawled back into my
hiding space as it slammed again and again, each time splintering
wood a little more. On the third try the lock and wood gave, sent
splinters racing across the tile and Sean fell into the room.
Behind him Zach turned immediately when he saw I was naked and
ordered someone else I couldn’t see out of the room.
Fury and terror made Sean wild-eyed, but his
body remained powerfully in control. I needed to see that. The
tears threatened again, welled from deep in my chest. His blue eyes
went from the blood smears on the tile over to where I hid.
His breath hitched and he stalked to me and
fell to his knees at my feet. I launched myself out of my crawl
space into his arms and he swept me up into his chest.
I shook all over, from cold I only now
recognized, from pain and fear and adrenalin withdrawal.
“Shh, baby, it’s ok. It’s ok. I’ve got you.”
Sean buried his face against my neck and I wrapped my arms around
his neck and my legs around his waist. He rocked me gently as I
cried into his shoulder, out of relieve more than anything
else.
“I should never have left you here. I should
have…”
“Sean?” A girl’s voice appeared in the door
way and I felt him release one arm from my back and motion to
whomever it was. A moment later I felt heavy terry cloth fall
across my shoulders. Sean disengaged enough to try and help me into
it but I loathed releasing my hold on him.
“She’s lucky they locked her in there,” the
girl said. Dani. I recognized her voice now.
“Don’t,” Zach responded. “Not now.”
But she was right. Anything could have
happened and I did not believe for a second there was anything
random about this crime. Sean had been targeted on purpose. And I’d
been terrorized for fun.
###
“How does that feel?”
“Ok.” Sean applied the final bandage across
my knee, clean of blood but swelling bigger by the minute. My right
one was almost the size of a grapefruit, the other bore only a
small knot but somehow hurt more. I sat on his bed, a robe covering
most of me but my legs. Beyond the bed a sea of ruin covered the
floor. Everything had been gone through, closets emptied, dressers
emptied. Beyond the bedroom I could see more destruction but the
police had that under control. Zach was talking to them. Dani
appeared in the doorway with two fistfuls of frozen vegetables.
