He is quickly thrown into a submission lock on the floor. “What did I fucking tell you if you ever put your fucking hands on me again?”

My mother watches in even more horror as I snap his elbow in towards the opposite way and break his arm. “Fuck!”

Following on the promise that I once gave him when I was seventeen, I shoot the last bullet into his groin and watch him struggle on the ground cradling his arm. “Fucking bitch!” he screams again.

“You know calling me a bitch is getting overrated. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Probably the only woman you’ve ever put your lips on, you sick son of a bitch!”

The screams from Paul’s voice and watching him look up at me horrified in such pain, cursing out every swear word at me that instantly spits out of his toxic mouth, makes me feel more superior to him. Justice has been served!

“I fucking told you I would shoot your balls off! I warned you, and you don’t fucking listen you stupid asshole! DON’T FUCKING TOUCH ME! Get it yet?”

“Destiny!” My mother grabs my arm from behind and holds me back from going after him again. “Let’s go! He got what he deserves.”

Despite the tears of frustration and anger, I feel refreshed, like I had done something good regardless of what the law says. A heavy weight of my world has been lifted from my shoulders. It felt easy, maybe a little too easy.

“Where is Olivia?” I demand, looking around for her.

Shhh
... she’s okay. She’s in the room still, didn’t see a thing,” my mother assures.

This is one time that the thought of Olivia didn’t stop me from doing something unlawful.

“Hey! Don’t move!” Drew walks through the front door flashing is badge with his gun pointing out in front of him. His eyes gaze at me then scans the room towards Paul, who is still on the floor holding himself, laying almost still and crying.

“The fucking bitch shot my dick off!” That sounds
really
good to hear coming from him!

Drew looks at me a little confused and tries to hold back a smirk, “Really?” he asks in astonishment.

“He grabbed me from behind with a weapon and sexually assaulted me!”

That is enough simple information to set it straight that I acted in self-defence. He looks to my mom, “Get them out of here. Go! I’ll take care of this.”

“Arrest the dumb cunt!” Paul orders Drew.

“Shut your mouth!” He kicks Paul in response. “Nobody is getting arrested except you, and thrown into jail. I'll don’t beat you myself!”

Zip- click.
Drew slapped Paul’s bloody hands into cuffs. “I’ll call the paramedics and make sure no charges will be made against you, Destiny.”

“How did you get here so fast? I thought you weren’t following me?” I ask curiously.

Drew huffs
,
“I have a duty and a promise to your brother to keep an eye on you, to make sure you don’t get hurt.”

“You waited too long, almost too late,” I scowl at him.

My mother calls for Olivia then places her hand on my back and urges me to leave. We quickly head out of there and down the street.

“Destiny, put that away,” my mother orders. “Where did you get the gun?”

“I found it in your drawer along with your diary.”

“You read it?” Her eyes widen nervously.

Feeling guilty in the awkward bit of silence, we finally come to a halt. “A little bit. Don’t worry, I dropped it back into the drawer when Paul attacked me.” I assure her. “Look, I know that it’s your shit, but anything to help me learn what you’re going through...”

Olivia perks up, “Mommy, does this mean that we have to go home now because the bad man came back?”

“No Hunni, that police officer took the bad man away. We will get you a drink, Mommy and Grandma some coffee then we will go see some ducks, okay? You can play, Mommy needs to relax and some fresh air.”

The coffee shop makes me think of Drew and how he asked me to go for a coffee date. Maybe it’s just paranoia but I can’t help but keep wondering why Drew waited until after the second gunshot was fired before coming into the house. If he was following me then why didn’t he stop Paul when the bastard grabbed me? That was Paul’s first move to show that he was a dangerous threat.

“May I take your order?” The cashier’s voice interrupts my deep thought.

Taking orders reminds me of work and she looks like a more exhausted version of myself but with cheap red dye engrossed into the dead strands of her hair, almost the color of the blood that I notice on the bottom of my shirt.

“Uh yeah, sorry, I’ll…” My hand grabs a napkin and tries scrubbing off the wet blood, “I’ll have a large VIP iced mocha latte, a large chocolate milk and - Mom?”

“A large triple triple, please,” my mom finishes the order, watching me scrub my shirt behind the counter.

“Would you like a shot?” The cashier asks promptly.

“Pardon me? A what?” Confused, my hand flips over the scheme of my shirt to hide the blood.

“A shot, we have flavor shots for your drink. We have mint, hazelnut, berry…”

“Oh, I’ll… uh… take mint, please.” My eyes meet my mother’s eerie look.

Olivia tugs at my shirt, “Look, Mommy, It’s raining!”

The rain cooled down the October warm air that dried up the tears from my mother’s face. No matter how much we fight, she is my mother, and seeing her cry is heartbreaking. If only she would open up to me, make me understand what it is that she’s going through, then I can help her.

Olivia can’t help but ask me a million questions about whether or not the ducks like the rain cold or warm, if the baby ducks dress up for Halloween and if they like to eat pumpkin muffins as much as she does.

“Does Sebastian like pumpkin muffins too, Mommy? I bet he does! Can we bring him one, please?”

Olivia carefully stashes the bag of muffins into her little pink purse and skips home to the same beat as the slow pitter patter of the raindrops. We pick up black umbrellas for myself and my mother so we can still stop to feed the ducks as promised. Olivia decorates hers with sticker but doesn’t want to use it because she’d rather get wet like the delicate flower she is. Watching her dance so full of energy and silliness makes me the happiest mother in the world. I can’t help but dance and sing with her in the puddles.

“Come on, Mom, dance with us!”

“Yeah, Grandma!” I recite.

My mother smiles and grabs our hands to join in on our silly shenanigans. My mother hasn’t been this happy since Olivia was born and sadly I don’t remember a time before then. It’s so nice to see her glowing again.

I’d give anything up for my little girl. Her smile is so contagious. But what captures my heart even more is the way Sebastian instantly catches hers and makes her face light right up when she sees him at my house then announces that she has a special treat just for them. Nothing sexier than watching a man take so well with your child. He’d make for an amazing father, especially if we one day have a child together.

My mother doesn’t hold herself back and asks if we are serious and already fucking. How do I even answer a question like that to your mom? He is all of my dreams come true and fears collided into one. Watching Sebastian’s body move like it does, his muscles ripple through his shirt as if the material can’t stop touching him either, makes me want to lather his naked body right now with my massage oil that is hidden in my bedroom for tonight.

“I have something for your Mommy too,” Sebastian interrupts my deep thought and catches me checking him out. Smiling, he walks towards me with a small purple box from behind his back, then kisses me.

I like surprises, but I’m easy to embarrass. Heat flushes my cheeks as my heart races with anticipation. I don’t know if I’m ready for what might be in that box. My mom and Olivia watch with their eyes widened in excitement, but my nerves are drastically taking over my body.

“Sebastian, I -”

His hands slowly open the squeaky lid and reveal a white gold diamond necklace with a matching heart pendant. “Oh my God, Sebastian! What the fuck is this for?” My throat traps the right words that I wanted to say. It’s so gorgeous!

“Do you like it?” Sebastian asks laughing. He fastens it around my neck then kisses my collar bone. “This is a token of my promise to you. My promise to your heart that I do love you and will always keep both of my wonderful ladies safe.”

“It’s fucking beautiful!”

His lips kiss mine, and I return the passion. “I love kissing that dirty little mouth of yours. This necklace is just as amazing and beautiful as my special jewel, Mami.” His words roll off his tongue against my mouth as his hands grip my ass, making me gasp into his breath and jump under his touch. I love it when he grabs my ass! Oh, how I want him so bad right now! This is one of the rare moments that I will admit my mother is right about something, that when men give you gifts or flowers they usually want something. But I don’t care, I will give it to him alright!

“You will be here for Thanksgiving dinner too, won’t you Sebastian?” My mother interrupts.

“Of course, ma’am. I plan to help with the cooking.” He looks at me and grins with that sexy mouth of his.

“Oh good, you can teach Destiny how to cook a decent meal.”

“Mom! What the fuck are you doing?” I charge at her. “I’m actually very capable and don’t need you telling-..”

My mother and I don’t always see eye to eye but her unwanted and inappropriate outbursts by far need to fucking stop!

“She’s actually very useful in the kitchen, ma’am, and I’ll be more than glad to teach your daughter a few things,” Sebastian winks then pulls me in closer.

He knows exactly what I’m thinking, that we can’t be in the kitchen together without cooking up a little something of our own with my legs wrapped around him.

“Oh Sebastian don’t be silly, call me Connie.”

My lips peck his before letting go and taking Olivia into the living room to call my father. We need to discuss what to do about my mom’s well-being, getting her better, and about what happened today with Paul.

“I’m on my way to pick up your mom and Olivia right now. We will take her to school tomorrow. You will be safe with Sebastian, so I want you to stay home. Concentrate on attending classes so that you can get back on track, it will do you some good to get back out to work too.”

Dad’s right, he was always right and always looking out for my best interest, no matter how much I hate to admit that. He surprises me, though, when he suggested that I stay with Sebastian alone. This will give him and my mother both time together, and Sebastian, and I time tonight for my erotic plans to rock his body so hard. I am going to ride the shit right out of that sexy man all night long!

“Yes Daddy, see you soon, love you!”

“Love you, Bishy!”

“Dad!”

“What?” He laughs. “I have been calling you that your whole life, get used to it!”

The click of his phone signals he’s on his way and that he will be here in less than ten minutes. My mom isn’t too thrilled about leaving me, but she knows that she’ll be safe too and will get to spend lots of grandma time with Olivia. Nobody’s perfect, and we all have our bad habits and faults, but I always believed that my parents were meant to be, even still. Neither one of them hid their love for one another, not even after years of being divorced.

After they left, Sebastian and I waste no time at all ripping each other’s clothes off. A button clinks onto the floor from his pants. “Oops!” I grin innocently up at him.

He carries me to my room and lays me down on my bed. “Nah uh! Tonight, is
your
turn to relax,” I hint, reaching for the bottle of lavender oil from my bed side table.

Curtains are closed, lights are off and scentless candles are lit. My warm hands rub his ribbed back in smooth strokes before massaging deep into his muscles and arms. His body rolls over and slides me onto his chest. I smile back at him then spin myself backwards to massage down on his abdomen as his shaft propels between my folds. My moist hands lighten the pressure then begin to stroke his hard cock until he cums.

“I'm so glad that I found you again,” Sebastian says breathlessly, hugging me in his arms.

“Me too, I love you.”

“I love you too and I'm glad that I followed my dream to come back.”

“What?”
Dreams? What is he talking about?

“I wasn't lying when I said that I dream about you all of the time. Most nights I lay awake in bed, fearing night mares about losing you or seeing you get hurt. My most recent one is of two women screaming, one is you, held against their will and bound by ropes. There are dogs barking to alarm whenever I am close to you whenever the silver watch stops at every
hour., for seven hours. My favorite dreams are when I get to hold you and keep your safe.”

“So you knew that Johnny would come for me?” I cry.

“Yes, No... I didn't know what exactly he would do to you, I just knew that you weren't safe. Look, I was already on my way to the restaurant before you called me because I just had an eerie feeling.”

“Is that how you knew where to find his gun, under my car? Because I don't remember tell you that part.”
