“What if you feel the urge to kiss her?”

I wasn’t surprised Stacey knew about the kiss between David and
Lisa.

“Well, let's leave that until when it happens,”
I said.

The conversation abruptly ended when Stacey’s phone rang, I was
glad it was all over. I went straight to my room and remained there until the
next day.

***

The next week passed slowly and it was only because I was looking forward to Saturday. I'd practiced with the college’s basketball
team for the first time. It was weird: while everyone was sweating due to
the strenuous exercises we did, my shirt remained dry. My icy body couldn't release a drop of sweat.

I spent more time with Lisa in the week, but our relationship still
remained within the college walls. I accompanied her to her karate class as
we’d agreed. Her performance was incredible; she performed various flips and moves. What stunned me was that none of the sensei’s moves
touched her. There was an instance when the sensei tried to kick her twice, but she blocked the first kick and then somersaulted over him, avoiding the second. It seemed like she was invincible.

Also, I hung out with Julie
in order to honor the agreement I made with
her in the previous week, and of course to brighten Stacey’s mood.

Meanwhile, m
y friendship with
Sharon grew stronger each time we went out together, and unlike Lisa's, it
had
passed the college walls. Sharon and I went bowling and watched movies. Strangely my feelings toward her were on a friendship level. I couldn’t
understand how a beautiful girl like her would like me and I
couldn’t feel the same way. Maybe it was my unending love for Lisa that kept me focused,
not that I may like my own sex, which seemed unfathomable.

***

It was the morning of my big date with Lisa. I'd been longing for the day when Lisa and I would leave school and go out for a change. I had basketball practice that day, so I'd informed Lisa to meet me in college.
Luckily, t
he basketball practice went very well. The entire team loved my arrival, except for one: Derrick. He felt I had taken his spot on the team, yet he never showed it. I had to read his mind to obtain the reason for his weak performance.

“Nice job, boys,” the coach commented. “See you on Saturday. Remember, we have an important match coming up. Therefore, you’re meant to practice at all times – not just during practice session.”

The entire team chorused, “Okay, Coach.”

I was heading to the locker room when certain warmth spread through my body. I turned to look at the entrance of the basketball court and saw her walking inside the court. I wished Lisa hadn’t
entered the basketball court to look for me, because as she did, all the guys in the team began
wolf whistling. I tried my best not to hear what they
were thinking, because if I did, it would have been a different ball game
entirely.

“Hey, you,” I said, moving forward to greet her.

She smiled. “Hey.”

“I’ve finished practice for today. Let me go change, and we’ll get
going.”

“Okay, I’ll be waiting,” she said.

As I reached the exit door of the building, I turned to look at Lisa. She was seated on a bench beside the door of the entrance, but before I could leave the court, the entire team approached her. I listened to their conversation as I walked to the locker room.

“You remember me?” Derrick asked.

“Yeah, the guy who helped Steph,” she said.

“Call me Derrick.”

“Okay, Derrick,” responded Lisa.

“What you doing tonight?” he asked.

“Sorry, I'm busy,” she replied.

Those were the last words I heard while in the shower. Lisa had informed me she had a very bad temper, but for strange reasons, she was always calm around me. Still, I used my abilities to
bathe and change quickly. In less than two minutes, I returned to the court.

Lisa looked relieved when I returned; she was glad she hadn’t lost her temper with
the promiscuous boys.

“Are you ready to go?” I reached for her hand.

“Yes, please,” she replied as she rapidly stood up and gave me her arm.

We were heading to the college’s gate when Lisa turned to look at me.

“What do you have planned for me?” she asked.

“First of all, did you bring your car?”

“No.”

“And why is that?” I asked.

“You asked me not to.”

“Yeah, I did. And that is because I’ll teach you how to run faster than the speed of sound. That’s if you
want to learn,” I said as we left the school premises on foot.

Lisa grinned. “Yeah, I want to.”

Earlier that week I'd booked a playground, informing the caretaker a football
match was going to be played there. Ironically, I never played football. When we arrived at the playground, it dawned on me I’d made a
foolish decision. There were people seated on the side benches, hoping to watch a pseudo match. The caretaker stood at the entrance of place, expecting more spectators.

“There's no way you can teach me in front of these people,” Lisa said.

“I know. We'll have to look for somewhere else to practice,”

We walked up to the caretaker.

“I'm so sorry, but the match was canceled yesterday. I just got the news. If not I'd have informed you earlier,” I said.

The middle-aged looking man with a mole on his left cheek said, “Oh! No.” He looked at Lisa and his expression changed. “Oh well, it is okay.” His eyes glared at Lisa.

Lisa left his sight before he could say another word; she must have been disgusted with the lusty look the caretaker issued her.

“Sorry about that,” I said, catching up with her.

“No problem. What now?” she asked.

“Hmm… There's somewhere I can teach you without any disturbance or intruders,” I proposed.

“Where's that?”

“It's the abandoned stadium on Winter Street.”

She looked at me, her expression unreadable.

“Yeah, I know the stadium.”

“Okay, so close your eyes,” I requested as I pictured where the stadium was.

Lisa didn’t object. With both arms, I lifted her up and
dropped her gently in the middle of the stadium in less than a minute. Luckily the
door was opened so I didn’t have to pause.

“You really have to teach me how to do that,” she said.

“I’m glad you enjoyed the ride, and yes, I’ll teach you. That’s our main
purpose of being here, remember?”

The stadium didn't look as expected; the carpeted grass looked well-trimmed and the sidelines didn't look unkempt.
Maybe it's being renovated
, I thought. I moved around to see if someone was nearby, but heard no sound of a heartbeat except Lisa's and mine. I returned to her.

“Stay here and I'll be at that end of the field.” I ran
to the designated direction. There wasn’t any need to scream since Lisa and I
could hear from miles away.

“Close your eyes and imagine yourself standing on this spot.” I gave
her a minute to contemplate, and then I continued, “Now open your eyes and start
running.”

Unfortunately, she ran like a human, but was pretty fast though.

“Uh,” Lisa grumbled

“Okay, return back to your position and we’ll try it again”

She did as I asked, this time looking more determined. I
remembered the first time I ran supersonically at the restaurant’s parking
lot, and said, “Don’t close your eyes this time; look at this.” I removed my
blue diamond wristwatch. “Try and catch this before it hits the ground
and be aware this watch is expensive. You’ll have to pay me if anything
happens to it.”

Lisa laughed.

“Okay,” I said. “One, two, three, go!”

I tossed the watch up in the air, but not in a straight direction. My teeth were clenched as the watch flew high. I was hoping she’d catch the watch because it was my
favorite accessory. A red light flashed across my eyes before the wristwatch could fall on the floor. It was Lisa.

“Here you go,” she said, handing me back the watch. She looked so
happy and excited. “This is incredible. I can’t believe I just did that.”

“Yeah, you did. Okay, let’s see if you can outrun me.” I
dashed off, running round the field, and she followed.

Although she ran very fast
,
I could see her every movement. It was like we were in a different world
where time moved slowly. Her silhouette was covered by a red light as she ran beside me.

I was shocked to see her reach the other end before I did. However, she’d been a good runner before her transformation; at least
I guessed that was the reason.

“Impressive. You are a fast learner,” I complimented her.

“Well, thank you. You’re a good teacher,” she returned the comment. “So, what’s next?”

“Let’s play a little game.”

“Game! That sounds interesting.”

My plan to make her happy and
help her stop worrying was working, and though I didn’t know if she was still
worried, she looked happy.

I tried my best to control my physical desire; she was looking so beautiful. Her leather
pants made her body look voluptuous, but I refrained from any sexual thoughts. I didn’t want to spoil what I had
gained with her.

“The game goes like this: I’ll create barriers with ice, and then I’ll throw my
watch up in the air at any direction. Meanwhile, your eyes will be shut.
You should open your eyes immediately you hear the sound of the watch as it’s tossed
in the air, and then catch it before it drops. Remember, I’ll not be close
to you so be a bit intuitive. I believe the essence of this game is to improve your hearing and speed
abilities.”

“Oh! Lovely.”

Lisa became nervous, biting her lip to help her concentrate on
winning the game.
