This is the place where miracles happen. You can speak that power to a person, or a situation. You can even speak it to animals, as we have seen. If the anointing is there, you can speak it. The more you love Jesus, the more this glory will thicken.
One secret of the glory is honor. Scripture calls the honor due God the “fear of the Lord.” We recognize Him as the King of glory. We love Him. We adore Him and are intimate with Him. At the same time that He is our dearest and most faithful friend, He is also the King of kings. He is our companion, but not our “buddy.” Psalm 34:11 says, “Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord” (
KJV
). The first thing God teaches those who listen to His voice is honor for God. Modern culture has lost all sense of honor for anything. But those who would enter the glory realm where God’s miracles dwell learn to hold Him, His Word, His Presence and His work in awe. Maintaining that sense of reverent wonder cultivates the atmosphere for miracles. Everything bows down in the fear of the Lord at the mention of His name.
As we make Him King in our hearts, His authority flows down and fills the atmosphere around us. If we believe that the end times are approaching, and we are surely seeing biblical fulfillment of end-time prophecies, then we must believe that Jesus, the risen Savior, the Christ, the Messiah, the Living God, the King of glory is returning soon.
This also means that the Church is going to be seen in all her glory, because the Bridegroom is coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle in order that He might be equally yoked. So as the King of glory comes, His Bride is going to be equal in glory. The more we recognize, then, that this Bride is “us,” the more we are going to want to make room for the glory of God in our hearts. This is important because this is the time when the Church will have the answers for all the needs of suffering humanity. We will have the key as Isaiah 60:1–3 (
KJV
) says:
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
This is a prophetic word for His last-days Church. Darkness is covering the earth. There are those who call evil good and those who call good evil. But the ones who walk in the light will grow in the fruit of the Spirit, move in resurrection power and call forth miracles.
Thank God that we are being conformed into the image of Jesus! Thank God that He is dividing between flesh and spirit, between holy and unholy, between light and darkness! We welcome the rush of His Spirit, the living breath to cleanse and sanctify us that we might be a Bride without spot or blemish.
In the days to come when we face barrenness, we welcome the word that implants hope in our hearts. When our promises seem to die, we cling to the giver of life. And when earthly loss threatens to overwhelm us, we look with confidence to the King of glory. We must take the word that God gives us, even if it is a small direction, and be faithful in it. We will find in the proper times and seasons that the unction of God will be manifest in miracles of healing and in signs and wonders through us.
We are standing on the threshold of an open door. The shedding of Christ’s blood has made the way for us to step into the place of miracles because of His Presence and glory. A new and living way through His blood gives us entrance to the Father’s throne. Knock on the door. Enter the glory. Compel Him to come to your house. Let the promise take root in your spiritual being.
If you make room for Him to come, you will find just as the Shunammite did that the Word will come down from heaven with your miracle.
And more.
