“Yes, I am.”

“Champagne?”

“Yes, I would love that, thank you.”

I grabbed a bottle of champagne and popped the top. I poured her a glass and handed it to her. Then I poured one for myself and set it down beside her. I went back to the table with the buffet of foods and filled a trey with fruits, cheeses, and cold meats. “Here, let’s have a little picnic in front of the fireplace,” I said, settling down next to her in the most cozy moment I had experience in years.

“Where did all this come from? Are there staff here somewhere?” she asked as she took a strawberry and sucked on the tip of it delicately with her lips. I immediately thought of her lips sucking the tip of my cock and was aroused again. Damn, her.

“No, they are not here. I had them come out and get the house ready before we arrived. I come here to be alone. That means no servants,” I said as I kissed her lips. They tasted like strawberries.

“Oh, I see. It is a nice place to be alone. The view is unbelievable, it actually doesn’t seem real, and I’ve never seen whales in real life before. I can’t believe they are just right there. It’s amazing.”

“Well, after we’ve eaten here I’ll show you around some. We could go for a stroll on a hiking trail and it’s all ours. We won’t run into anyone. It’s the best feeling.”

“I would love too, but I didn’t bring any clothes. I literally only have what’s on my back and you’ve already destroyed half of it.”

I laughed at her comment. She was right, I did tear her clothes off of her. I couldn’t help myself. However, she didn’t realize that a man with money to burn was always ready. “I’ve got you covered,” I said as I stood up and grabbed a carpetbag from the front door. I set it down next to her. “Open it.”

She looked at me confused. Then she opened it with the enthusiasm of a child on Christmas morning. “Hiking boots, jeans, sweaters…and all in my size. How did you know my size?” she asked. “Easy, you have uniforms at work so it’s not hard to get that information, and I’ve had to take your heels off of you on more than one occasion.”

She laughed and then set the bag aside and then she looked at me suspiciously and said, “I bet you have one of these bags waiting here for all your girls don’t you?”

“No, actually. I’ve never brought a girl here, until now.” I said quickly and honestly before I knew what I had said. Shit, I should have just said yes. Now she will think this was something more than it was. By the look on her face she was already thinking it. I wanted to give her the – look this can never be serious talk – but I couldn’t. Instead I just let her believe what she wanted to believe, because I was an arrogant asshole hiding a dark secret.

Hours later we were strolling through the trails on my private island. I felt proud of it. I liked watching Kendra’s eyes go wide as she looked up at the one hundred foot trees. I liked having this effect on her.

“What are those?” she said pointing off the pier.

“Kayaks,” I said as I walked toward them. “Want to go out for a ride?”

“Okay, maybe just a short one,” she said.

I loved her sense of adventure. This woman never stopped surprising me. I sat in the double person kayak and then held it still as she climbed in. Soon, we had pushed out off of the shore a bit and the calming sea bobbed us up and down.

“This really is beautiful,” she said as she faced me and I her.

“It is. So tell me Kendra. Have you thought about it? Has working at Plaerus helped?” I asked her.

“What? Thought about what?” she got a little nervous about my question.

“What you want to do as a profession? If you want to go to college or straight into the workforce… or whatever,” I said as I moved the paddle rowing us out slowly.

“Oh, well I still don’t know. I know I don’t want to be working in client services forever, but I do have a lot of interests. I would like to support myself doing something I love.”

“Yes, that’s a start. So what are your interests?” I asked her.

Then she froze. Her eyes grew wide. I laughed at her, “It’s just a question.”

“No, look behind you,” she whispered with her body stiff as a board.

I turned my head over my shoulder and saw our friends, the whales very close to us. I smiled. I had been out here many times as they swam near. Then, WHACK! A large tail appeared from the water and slapped down near us. The crashing wave hit us and before I knew it, we were under water as the kayak rolled over. I reached out as quickly as I could to get a hold of Kendra. The water was ice cold and felt like a thousand needles hitting my body. I could only imagine the fright that Kendra was feeling, and I hated myself for doing this to her. I felt her arm and grabbed her and swam to the surface. “Are you all right? Are you hurt?” I yelled at her. She only looked at me stunned. I could feel the great beasts churning under the water beneath us. In no way did I think they were attacking us, but they were so big one swipe of a fin could knock anyone unconscious. “Kendra, talk to me. Can you hold on to my shoulders!” I yelled at her trying to get control of the situation.

“Ye…Yes!” she finally yelled out. She held onto my shoulders and I grabbed the kayak and flipped it over. “Here, hold on to this handle here!” I yelled at her grabbing her hand and placing it on a handle on the side. I pulled myself into the kayak careful not to pull it over. Then I reached out and pulled her up into the kayak. It took all my strength because in her frozen and frightened state she had none. “Just hold on now. I’m going to get us back to shore!” I opened the emergency compartment and pulled out a paddle. I paddled like a madman fast. For one, we had to get away from the whales before their frolicking knocked us over again, and two I needed to get her out of those wet clothes before she reached a state of hypothermia.

“Kendra! Keep talking to me! Keep your body active!”

Her teeth only chattered in response. Then I remembered my stash. I reached into the closed box compartment and pulled out a flask of whiskey. “Here!” I reached out and gave it to her. “Drink as much as you can. It will keep you warm!”

“Okay,” she stuttered out and then drank from the flask.

I couldn’t stand to see her in this state. What had I done to the poor girl? If she died I would never forgive myself. Shit. I loved her. I knew in that moment that I thought she had drowned or was knocked out by the sea beasts and my heart sank that I loved her. Shit. I was fucked.

We reached the shore nearest the house and I jumped out and pulled the kayak onto the shore. I could handle the cold water and air, but she could not. As soon as the kayak was on the shore, I scooped her into my arms and ran the rest of the way and into the house. I was going straight for the one thing that I knew could help. I ran into the room and threw her straight into the hot tub, clothes, shoes, and all. The water was already hot, as it maintained its temperature on its own. I jumped in after her, clothes and all.

“Dunk your head under. Get your hair drenched in hot water. It will help. It will bring your temperature back to normal,” I said as I dunked my head under and she followed. Then I went to work taking off all of her clothes and her boots and threw them out of the hot tub, and then I took my own off.

“Come here,” I said, holding her naked shivering body next to mine.

“I am so sorry Kendra. I should have been watching the horizon. I forgot they were out there and we floated too close. I was just distracted by your presence. You must forgive me. Say you forgive me?” I pleaded with her.

“I forgive you, Jaysun,” she said. I took her face in my hand and kissed her. It was a long kiss. It was a kiss that said, I was glad she was alive and that I didn’t want to lose her. Now, things were suddenly more complicated. I wanted her. I wanted her for the rest of my life, but she could not know my secret. She could not know who I really was, as that would tear us apart. I was not prepared for this.

“I think I am warm again. Thank you, for saving me,” she said.

I could not believe what had happened. I had never been so terrified in my life. One minute I was in the kayak and the next I was underwater with the cold penetrating to my very bones. Then I opened my eyes and I saw it. I saw a large white eye as the great beast swam by me. In that moment, time slowed down and I felt at peace with the world. This great beast seemed peaceful and do I dare say even apologetic for knocking us over. It was as if it wanted to play with us. Then I felt Jaysun’s arm on mine and he yanked me to the surface. That was the most terrifying and peaceful experience I had ever had, and I knew that I would never be the same. There was nothing like the awesomeness of nature to make you feel like you’d just had a religious experience. Then, Jaysun went into hero mode. He was all about rescuing me and saving me. For a second I thought a playboy like him would only think of his own skin, but that was not what happened. He gave me the whiskey. He paddled for shore. He ran all the way to the house with my heavy body in his arms like I weighed nothing. Now, I was in a hot tub, which was a great idea. I would have not thought to jump straight into steaming hot water. But it worked.

“I am warm now, but I know what would make me warmer,” I said as I reached down and wrapped my hand around his cock. I don’t know if it was simply the adrenaline from my near death experience, but I was hornier than ever. I jacked him off for a few seconds until he was rock hard and then I straddled him and sat down on his cock letting it slide inside of me. Jaysun looked at me with surprise, as though fucking was the last thing he would think I wanted from him at the moment. I wanted it badly, though. I rode up and down on his cock letting my perky breasts bounce up and down. He looked down at them and licked them. He sucked the hot water off of them and moaned and groaned as he did so, as though he had been craving to have them in his mouth for so long. I bounced faster and harder. I just wanted to cum and I wanted to cum now. I wanted the sensations of an orgasm to fill me and calm me. I looked at Jaysun, straight into his green eyes as I bounced on his cock and then, “Oh fuck I’m cumming.” I whispered. He groaned in response and then I felt the warmth of him flood through me as I climaxed at the same time.

A few minutes later we were towelling off feeling warm once more.

“You can find some sweaters in the drawers over there. I’ll make some coffee and something to eat!” he yelled as he wrapped himself in a robe and left the room.

I had the biggest smile on my face. I really felt like the near death experience had brought us closer. I felt like things were changing between us. I had not been this happy since I met this man. I reached into the drawer and pulled out a long, plush grey sweater. I shook it out, and something plopped to the floor. It was a passport. What an odd place to keep a passport, way out here on an island that was hard to get to. I felt suspicion well up inside of me at the thought. So I opened it. I was not prepared for what I saw. There was a photo of Jaysun. It was a fairly recent photo. Only the name did not read Jaysun Rubic. Instead it read Jaysun Raydon. I gasped and it fell out of my hand. Raydon was the last name Janet used when she introduced herself at the meeting. She was the woman who claimed to be his wife, Janet Raydon, and now I had found an official government document with her last name instead of Rubic. Who the hell was this man Jaysun? He had lied. So many lies, one after another, and now he was seemingly not who the world thought he was.

I stood there frozen with the passport in my hand. Jaysun Rubic, famous tech billionaire playboy was not Jaysun Rubic at all. He was Jaysun Raydon. What did this mean? The man was so full of secrets and it made me feel like I was on an emotional roller coaster to deal with. Of course, I guess it wouldn’t be unusual for a billionaire to harbor deep secrets, since more money meant more costly secrets. I stared at the small booklet in my hand that was a giant bombshell on my heart. I had to make a decision. Should I show this to him? Throw it in his face and demand answers? It would be a shitty thing to do after he saved my life. It’s not like I could storm off this time, I was stuck on an island with him. Then, I remembered.

The last time I jumped to conclusions, I made a fool of myself. I had made such a big deal about Gina having that necklace. I accused him of fucking her. I quit my job. I stormed into his shower like a crazy woman. No, this time I would keep my cool, until I knew more. But how could there be any sort of logical explanation for this? A secret identity? Which one was real and which one was the fake? Was he Raydon or Rubic? Was he involved in some sort of embezzlement scheme? My head swirled with questions and emotions. Of course, this had to happen seconds after I felt like we had bonded. Moments after he had saved my life and I thought I saw a flicker of caring for me in his green eyes. Now, it was all messed up again.
