After I gave her instructions on how to treat her tattoo and keep it looking good, she ran up and hugged me so tight she was hurting my damn neck.

"Thank you Thank you,'' she replied loosening her grip from my neck.

"No problem Ma come back if you want something else oh and make sure to tell ya peeps about me,"

"Oh honey I'ma tell everyone I know about how fye you are, Thank's again."

She opened the door left out and closed it behind her. Soon as she left out my little brother Denzel who's 8 years old, came running out his room, looking just like me when I was his age.

He was a shade lighter than me with a Boosie fade with curls on top. He was a little nigga but was cut up at the same time. He had chinky dark brown eyes that look close when he smiles with his dimples of both side and a mole under his left eye just like grandma's.

"Hey Big D, can I come out my room now?"

"Yea, Zel , you had your ear to the door huh?" I chuckled

"Yea, I been ready to come out my room, I'm bored with my XBOX 360, I'm getting hungry too, what are you gonna cook tonight?" He blankly replied

Just when I was about to answer him a loud knock was coming from the outside of my door. I already knew who it was banging on my door like they was the fucking police.

"Ima order some pizza" I replied as I swung the door opened enough to see my homeboy A-town pushing his way past me with a blunt in his mouth

"Hold up nigga, put that shit away with Zel in here"

"Aight Aight my bad bruh, what's good lil D, how's School been?" He called Denzel Lil D because he says he look just like me as if I shot him out myself.

"I'm good Big homie and school's great I'm getting all straight A's thanks to my big brother, I'm on the honor roll too." Denzel replied.

"That's what up Lil D," he said dapping him up "What we gonna do tonight bruh I'm bored as a fuck?'' he grilled flopping down on the couch.

A-town is my homeboy from down south. His hometown is Atlanta Georgia, that why people calls him A-town but his real name is Jamarcus. I been knowing him for two years and he the only nigga I fucks with. He's nineteen, a year older then me, and he been my home boy and next door neighbor since I moved to California. We both moved out here around the same time and just clicked instantly

"Nothing Imma just chill at home ain't nothing else to do" I blankly replied.

"Mane what about that white girl party you told me about? That's tonight right?”

"Yea it's tonight but I'm not trying to go nowhere." I Said as I put my tattoo equipment up. "You took a shower yet Zel?" I turned around facing him.

"No not yet, I'm about to go jump in now, I hope the food be here by the time I get out the shower." he quickly replied

"Aight Imma call them now that give you at least 35-40 minutes to get yourself together, go ahead in there, I’ll put ya night clothes on your bed for you and make sure you get you a washcloth and towel out the laundry basket next to the sink, I just washed clothes this morning."

"Alright, my food better be here bout time I get out." He said heading towards the hallway

"Boy gone and get your little ass in the shower before you won’t eat shit."

He just laughed and dashed toward the bathroom at the end of the hallway.

"I could spark this blunt up now?" A-town asked pulling a Bob Marley lighter from his pocket.

"Yea spark that bitch up," I quickly replied as I took my phone from my pocket to call Domino's, I already had their number stored from all the other times I done called.

"Hello Thanks for calling Domino's this is Stacey, Is this for pickup or delivery?" A young lady asked through the phone.

"Delivery." I replied.

"May I Have your phone number please?" She asked.

"(818)-244-2225" I replied.

"Okay Mr. Wallace. I have your address as 912 N. 3rd St. Burbank, Ca 9152 APT 2B, Is this correct?" She asked.

"Yes Ma'am," I replied once more as I sat down on the couch

"Okay Mr. Wallace, what can I get for you tonight?" she quickly said.

I ordered one large extra cheese pizza, one large stuffed crust with pepperoni, sausage and bacon pizza with a side order of mild buffalo wings and a 2-liter Mountain Dew.

"Okay Mr. Wallace I have One large extra cheese pizza, one stuffed crust pepperoni, sausage and bacon pizza with an order of buffalo mild wings and a 2 liter Mt. dew. Correct?" She asked as A-town passed me the blunt.

"Yes that's correct," I blankly said as I blew a cloud of smoke out my mouth.

"Okay it'll be $28.35 and it'll take about 35 minutes, Mr. Wallace. Thanks for calling Domino's," she replied

"Thank you," I said then hung up the phone. I pulled the blunt two more times then passed it back to A-town. I got up from the couch walking down the hall towards Denzel room to get his pajamas out. I turned the lights on and walked over to his dresser next to the closet and opened the bottom right drawer. I got him out his blue and black captain America pajama pants, shirt with some black and blue striped boxers and some all blue socks and laid it across his bed. I closed the drawer and turned the light off and walked back to the living room

"So sup bruh we going to this party or naw" A-town asked when he seen me walking towards the couch holding his hand out passing me the blunt.

"Hell nawl, nigga I already told you I don't feel like going nowhere tonight." I low-key snapped.

"Come on man damn, ain't shit else popping ova this way, I'm trying to fuck a snow bunny or two tonight, naw I’m saying."

"Man naw I don't know what you saying with yo country ass, you know i don't fuck with them white bitches."

"Nigga please with ya pro-black ass, you need to explore your options them white bitches is where it's at, they do it all and they don't want shit but to piss off they rich cracker, nigga hating ass daddies." He exclaimed with smoke flowing from his mouth as he grinned showing off all his gold.

"Nigga ya ass ain't down South anymore." I busted out laughing as I reached for the blunt.

"So what nigga all rich white people hate niggas no matter where the hell they at, they could be in Africa and them crackers still gon hate us,"

"Yea you right about that, but I still don't fuck with them bitches."

White girls never been my thing, I never dated outside my race, I Love my black queens, ain't nothing like a strong black woman, who's strong minded, don't start no shit but don't mind finishing it either, got a good head on her shoulders and keep her pussy on lock, respect herself and respect me as a man.

"Damn bruh come on man, I'm trying to go out and have a good time, I'm not trying to be in the house this weekend, at least just go for an hour or two, you might actually meet someone you can chill with, you need some pussy anyway nigga."

When he said that for some odd reason Ashley face popped up in my mind. I passed the blunt.

" Aight man damn we can go for a min. but if the shit lame I'm cashing out quick, and if you're not ready Imma leave your ass and let you find ya own way home nigga."

"That's what I'm talking about, time to dig some guts outs," He said as he pulled the blunt one more time then put it out in the ash tray. He tossed his head back on the couch. "Damn I'm Hungry as a fuck," He said just before a knock came to the door.

I got up from the couch and went to go open the door. When I opened the door it was Tatyana, A-town 17-year-old sister standing in the doorway wearing some cut up jean shorts that came to her knees, with a plain black shirt with some all black Nike's. She's pecan tan, have big brown eyes with long full lashes. She wore her hair in a burgundy Bob. . . Bob or some shit like that with a mouth full of metal, but she was cute with it.

"Hey friend," she stepped through the door giving me a hug.

"What's up ma," I said as I closed the door behind her.

"Shit main, it smells like a damn poun' in dis bih," she headed to the recliner plopping down. "What's up bra," she said as she leaned back letting up the footrest. He nodded his head up and down in a what's up motion, not looking up from his phone

I bust out laughing at her country ass. Her accent is so damn thick; I can't even understand what she be saying sometimes.

"You so damn country Yana," I say walking back to the couch sitting down.

She smacked her lips "So, and, you say dat every chance you get. I know I’m county, hell. . . Where the weed at tho,''

"Damn nigga take yo Felicia ass back across the hall, always begging for some shit." A-town rudely spoke as he shot his head up mugging her.

"Shut up before I tell my momma on yo ass," she rolled her eyes.

"Ion' give a fuck, get yo ass up and leave, go tell her." He quickly waved his hand back and forth in a motion to leave.

"Shut up, any who like I was saying were the weed at," she tilted her head facing me "Dwayne," holding her hand up at her brother as if she was in his face.

"I tell you what ma, I'll give you a gram and 20 bones if you watch Zel for me tonight."

"Shid I'll do dat', hell yea.. . I need dat too." She sat up in the recliner, "Where Zel at anyways."

"In the shower he should be out any minute." I said texting on my phone.

I was texting this Mexican guy name Julio who's a tattoo artist and also one of my clients. I did a few pieces on him and he inked me up about once or twice. Besides all that he also buys trees from me. He wanted a half of loud and I told him I will be at his crib in about 30 minutes.

Known by now I'm a tattoo artist and been tattooing for about a year and a half now, since I was seventeen. I got a decent clientele; and I make good money doing so. I also sell weed on the side but make more selling weed then tattooing.

I used to sell cocaine, molly and weed just a few months ago, but I slowed down a whole lot and stop selling everything but weed. I'm not on no nickel and dime type shit, I'm still breaking bread selling them by the pounds. Still got to get it by any means, I got too many responsibilities not to.

Me and my little brother grew up and was raised by my grandma in Detroit. My mother been on drugs since I was two years old because of my father, they both smoked crack cocaine. My father left my mother and my mother couldn't take care of me alone because she was too strung up on that shit, so she gave me up when I was two.

When I was nine my mother tried to clean herself up so she can get custody over me from my grandma. My grandma didn't want to give me up because she wasn’t too sure about my mother being fully clean and she was right. My father came back in the picture and she went straight back to him and to the drugs.

She ended up getting pregnant with my little brother and right when he was born DHS, Department of Human Services took my little brother because he was born with crack in his system. They gave full custody over to my grandma.

I used to have the utmost respect for my parents, even after the gave me up, I still loved them and looked up to them even though the wasn't really in my life. But that shit change when they did my brother the same way they did me. I have no type of respect for them now and I don't give a fuck about them, and Imma just leave it at that.

My grandma bought a house in Pacoima California and moved us out here 2 years ago. My grandma house wasn't really what she expected, it was raggedy, none livable, and needed a lot of work done to it that cost more than the house when she bought it. She didn't have that kind of money, so we moved into this 3-bedroom Apartment here in Burbank and been here since.
