She
had been moments away from stopping it when she looked into his eyes.

They
were so deep that they seemed to continue on for an eternity.

Scarlett
could see through the windows of his soul that he loved her. This
look alone had been more than enough to wash away the doubts, fears
and second thoughts that she had been having. She loved Brandon and
Brandon loved her. There was nothing more right than this in the
whole wide world.

‘Oh,
Brandon,’ her moan echoed off into the house.

She
looked down upon him and smiled. She couldn’t help it. He
hadn’t stopped smiling since that first kiss. He was so happy
and his smile was infectious. Scarlett stroked her fingernails across
the top of his rock hard pectoral muscles. He had the most gorgeous
body she had ever seen. That alone made it hard to maintain her
self-control. The other problem was that she hadn’t made love
to a man in over a month, which meant her usual stamina and endurance
was gone. They had only been making love for a handful of minutes and
already she was close.

Tingles
danced within her chest at the feel of his hands upon her breasts.

The
way Brandon gently caressed them, lifted them, and squeezed them was
making her heart melt. For such a strong and powerful man he had such
a caring and loving touch.

Scarlett
continued to roll her hips, as she straddled him upon the bed.

She
could feel his warmth inside of her.

She
had forgotten what this sensation felt like.

‘You
are so beautiful,’ he told her

Scarlett
blushed. If Lucas had said it then it would have most likely been a
pre-thought line, but when Brandon said it he spoke from his heart.
He really did find her beautiful.

‘Oh,’
her face contorted slightly.

‘Are
you close?’ he asked her.

‘Yes.’
Scarlett was moaning every other second. The sensation of ultimate
bliss that was building within the depths of her soul was starting to
become too great to ignore. It was the combination of the things he
said, the way he looked at her, his hands upon her body, and the feel
of him penetrating deep inside of her that was making her lose her
mind. ‘Are you close?’

‘I
am.’ He exhaled deeply through his moan.

A
deep erotic groan left his mouth.

That
was nearly the straw that broke the camel’s back. Never in her
life had Scarlett heard such a sexy sound. The rate of her hips
started to rapidly build. Brandon’s hands moved to the peak of
her breasts and he began to tease two of the most sensitive areas on
her body. The bed spring began to creak. Their breathing started to
get short and sharp. Deep manly groans and sweet female moans
competed against each other. Scarlett was forcing her bodyweight down
against him as hard and as fast as she could. Waves of tingles rushed
down her spine. Butterflies fluttered within her stomach. It felt
like the top of her head was about to be blown clean off. She could
feel the pressure building within her.

‘Yes!’
Five weeks of frustration screamed out in a single word.

Her
hips jolted as if she had just been struck by an electrical current.

Her
eyes widened with surprise.

Her
mouth hung open and her back arched.

It
was like a euphoric white light with the brightness of a nuclear
explosion had just ignited within her mind’s eye. A strange
sort of numbness spread throughout her body, as an overwhelming rush
of pleasure blossomed within the centre of her being. Brandon groaned
like some kind of wounded beast. She could feel him climaxing inside
of her. He wore a mask of pleasure mixed with agony. He must have
been experiencing the same mind melting sensations that she was.

‘Brandon!’
She called out through gritted teeth.

Scarlett
went on for as long as her body could take, which wasn’t very
long. Five weeks of not having sex had left her body rather
unprepared for the powerful sensations that a man could give her. Her
hips rocked to a standstill and she dropped her head down onto
Brandon’s muscular chest. She could feel his fingers stroking
through her hair, as he panted heavily for breath.

‘That
was amazing,’ she said without looking up. ‘You are truly
amazing.’

‘Are
you all ready?’ Lucas pulled the office door to a close.

‘Let
me just grab my bag.’ Emma bent over and reached for her
handbag. It was done in such a way that it was designed to capture
his attention. She kept her long smooth legs straight so that the
back of her dress would hug her body. Needless to say, it caught his
attention. Emma giggled at the feel of a strong hand squeezing one of
her cheeks. She couldn’t help but push her bodyweight back
against his palm. ‘You are a naughty boy.’

‘I
am?’ It wasn’t really a question.

She
stood to face him. ‘I don’t know if I can wait till we
get to my place.’

The
sexual tension had been building more and more throughout the day. It
had finally peaked. Both of them knew what they wanted and they both
wanted the exact same thing. A quick look down the corridor showed
that no one was about. Emma locked her eyes onto his and stepped into
what could only be considered his personal space. Her fingers twirled
the base of his tie. She began to lean in slowly towards him.

Smiles
were exchanged.

‘Lucas!’
Mr Mills bellowed from down the corridor.

Lucas
nearly had a heart attack.

Scarlett’s
father was plodding down the corridor towards them.

Emma
instantly stepped back and pretended to be invisible. All the blood
had disappeared from her face. It looked like she had seen a ghost.
Lucas watched his soon to be father-in-law head towards. He had a
single thought within his head.

Had
he seen them?

‘Just
the people I wanted to see.’

‘You
want to see, us?’ He looked nervously at Emma.

Mr
Mills checked his watch. ‘I am in a hurry so I will make this
quick. We have some big contract negotiates taking place with a
Japanese film company. I want you two on a plane to go out there and
deal with it personally, first thing next week.’

Lucas
started to breathe again.

He
hadn’t noticed he had been holding his breath.

‘That
is fantastic, Sir.’

Emma
was smiling from ear to ear. ‘Thank you, Sir,’ she added.

‘Don’t
mention it.’ He checked his watch again. ‘I have to go.
Say hello to my daughter for me.’

‘I
will do.’

And
with that Mr Mills left.

They
waited until he was out of sight until they started laughing. It
wasn’t a laugh of happiness, but more of a crazed laugh of
relief. ‘That was close,’ said Emma.

‘That
was a little too close.’ Lucas loosened off his tie. ‘My
fiancées dad nearly caught us.’

‘My
heart is beating so fast,’ countered Emma.

‘Mine,
too. That was far too dangerous.’

‘It
was dangerous.’

‘It
was very dangerous.’

‘But
you do know...’ Emma hesitated for a moment. ‘I kind of
like danger.’

Lucas
unconsciously looked her up and down. For some unknown reason she
looked even more beautiful than before. Maybe it was all the
adrenaline being pumped through his body, or the fact that his heart
was still in his mouth, but something dangerous was burning deep down
within the depths of his stomach.

‘I
think I do, too.’ He grabbed her by the hand and guided her
into his office.

Scarlett
switched on the hob and placed the pan of water upon the cooker. She
turned her attention to the wok and gave the contents a quick stir.
She had left it on a low heat so that it could simmer for a while.
Her spoon skimmed the surface and she had a quick taste. It was like
her taste buds had just been taken to heaven. It tasted delicious.
Picking her half empty wine glass off of the kitchen side she took a
quick glance out the window at the stormy landscape. Even with such
terrible weather conditions this place looked absolutely perfect.

The
sound of the front door opening echoed throughout the house.

Brandon
pushed the door closed, kicked off his shoes, and hung up his wet
coat. He headed into the main living area. The warmth from the
fireplace and the kitchen was greatly welcomed. The weather outside
had chilled him to the bone.

‘That
smells amazing.’ He carried the shopping bags into the kitchen.

The
two of them shared a sweet “hello” kiss.

‘You
really didn’t have to do this for me.’

‘I
wanted to,’ said Scarlett.

‘No
one has made me a home cooked meal in years,’ admitted Brandon.

‘No
pressure then,’ giggled Scarlett

‘No
pressure at all. You are already perfect in my eyes.’ He hugged
her from behind. ‘How are you feeling?’

She
stroked her fingers against the back of his hand. ‘I am happy.’

‘Thank
goodness,’ he chuckled.

‘Why
do you say that?’ She turned to face him.

‘I
don’t know. I just thought maybe if you had time to think about
things when I popped up the shop for some more wine, you might have
had a change of heart. I mean you have never done something like this
before. You are engaged, but...’

Scarlett
silenced him with a kiss.

‘I
am happier than I have ever been,’ she told him. ‘I am
not regretting what we did. I have no doubts, fears, or hesitations
about what happened. I was not drunk, or confused, or emotional at
the time. I made a choice. I knew what would happen if I came here
today. I wanted it to happen with you. I like you a lot.’

Brandon
was smiling from ear to ear.

Scarlett
slipped her hand into his and pulled him out of the kitchen.

‘Where
are we going?’ he asked.

‘We
are going upstairs to your bedroom.’ She giggled. ‘Dinner
isn’t going to be ready for a little while, but you look good
enough to eat right now.’

***

The
sound of heavy breathing filled the air. Lucas stroked his hands
through her fiery red hair, as Emma lay with her head upon his
muscular chest. The two of them hadn’t stopped making love
since they got back from work. They had barely even made it through
the front door and she had had her hand down his pants. Things had
never been like this with Scarlett. He simply never felt this way
about Scarlett. Yes, they once had a great sex life, but he only did
half the things they did because it made her happy. It was different
with Emma. She made him happy. He wanted to do everything and more
for her. If there was some sort of sexual comparison test, the match
between Emma and Lucas would be one hundred percent.

Lucas
looked out the rainy window and sighed.

It
was dark out now.

‘What’s
wrong?’ asked Emma.

‘It’s
getting late.’ He took in a long slow breath of air and
groaned. ‘I don’t want to go home.’ The thought of
avoiding Scarlett’s advances just crushed him. If it wasn’t
that then the two of them would be arguing. That house was no longer
a home. It was a prison.

‘Then
don’t go home. Stay here with me.’

She
kissed him gently on the chest.

‘I
want to.’

‘Why
can’t you?’

‘I
think Scarlett will start to suspect something if I am out two nights
in a row.’

‘I
thought you said you were going to tell her?’

Emma
was watching his face intently. It was like she was attempting to
read his facial features to get a proper reading on what he actually
planned to do about this matter.

‘I
am going to tell her,’ he replied truthfully.

‘I
sense a “but?”’

‘I
am not in love with her any more,’ Lucas admitted. ‘But
at one time I was. I have had a really nice life with Scarlett and I
have some amazing memories that will stay with me forever. She
doesn’t deserve to be treated like this. I think if you and I
are going to be in a real relationship I need to stand up and tell
her, but I think it needs to be done at the right time and in the
right way.’

Emma
smiled.

‘You
are a good person.’

‘I
am glad you think so.’

‘I
do. You should go home tonight and see Scarlett. You are right. That
is the right thing to do. We need to treat her with respect until the
two of you are no longer together.’

‘Okay.’
Lucas went to roll out of bed, but Scarlett pinned him down.

‘I
didn’t mean to go now.’

‘But
it is getting late.’

‘I
know, but can’t you stay for a little bit?’ Emma did her
best impersonation of a sad puppy dog. It had the right effect. A
wave of guilt flowed through Lucas’s body. He didn’t like
leaving Emma disappointed. ‘Pretty please, for me?’ Emma
disappeared completely beneath the quilt of her bed. He could see her
shuffling down the bed under the covers.

‘Oh,’
he let out a soft moan. Emma could talk him into doing anything, but
then again she didn’t need to speak and her mouth could still
convince him to do what she wanted. ‘I guess I could stay for a
little while longer.’

***

Sitting
around the living room table the two of them ate dinner. The way
Brandon made such a big deal about her cooking for him was so cute.
He truly appreciated the effort she was putting in for him. It was
nice to have a man care about the things she did. Lucas hardly ever
noticed if she done something nice for him. Beneath the table the two
of them gently stroked their feet together in that loving kind of
way.

‘What
happens now?’  Brandon asked.

‘What
do you want to happen?’

‘I
want to have a relationship with you.’ He smiled nervously. ‘I
don’t want this to be a one night thing, or some sort of dirty
little secret that we have to keep quiet. I want to scream from the
rooftops that I am seeing you. I want to take you out in public and
not be worried about kissing you.’
