FIESTA BAG

Here’s a fun, colorful bag to brighten up any outfit. I’m a big fan of this cotton yarn because it is so easy to work with and it comes in so many vivid colors. Try different combinations of three colors to see what you like. A fabric lining peeks through the holes in the squares and keeps small items from dropping through.

When dry, cut lining at least 1" (2.5 cm) bigger than piece, pin in place folding edges 1/2" (1.3 cm) under, sew in place. Fold bag in half, sew side seams one and one half squares, leaving one half square at top open.

Thread the 2 yd (1.85 m) of yarn onto a tapestry needle and working around the handle, attach handle to last row of sc, fasten off securely.

PENDANT EARRINGS

These earrings are crocheted using super fine metallic braid, following the directions for the #68 Gracie Square with some changes. By eliminating some of the chains between groups the square becomes a little smaller and the center pops a little to give them dimension.
