Such conditions make it easy to sell the one world order crap and get people to blindly follow orders of the likes of Hitler and Stalin. Defeating these despots may be the easiest battle for us. The real test will be to return American elections and the adoption of law to the people and restore moral values in our nation and government . The radio operator came walking over to advise that Tim, James, and Joshua had all reported in that all is ready to go on their end. They are standing by. Goldie said thanks then turned to Mac and said tell the men to schedule sentries then lets all get some sleep. Tomorrow could be a long day.

He was awakened by the smell of coffee and rose to see Mac and the others sitting by the fire warming their breakfast rations. Mac said morning top thought the smell of coffee might wake you. Goldie asked have the lookouts reported any activity yet and Mac said nothing so far but Richard called to advise the troops from Kentucky are on the move. He said they have some things to work out and will contact us as soon as they firm things up. Also your boys called asked if we had a time to move yet. I told them to sit tight until we know when to move in. Goldie reached over and turned the radio on and said lets see what the propaganda boys are saying. The commentator was spreading the word about how great it will be when all the new systems are established and all nations can work together. Then he reported that once again terrorists gangs had attacked government troops on a training mission. He said it is reported that early today in the rural area near Zanesville Ohio terrorists had attacked a government military convoy but there was no word of casualties.

Zanesville, Goldie said that puts them about four hours away, they could be moving in shortly after noon today. Get my boys on the radio it’s time to mobilize. A moment later the operator said James and Joshua are on. Goldie said morning boys how you doing and both said we are all fine here. Goldie said it’s time to mobilize your men. Get all your men together and head out for your flanking positions. The feds are about four hours away but I want everyone in place before they arrive. Have the drivers drop your people off then return to antic where our reserve forces will be waiting. Get you men in position keep them well out of sight then wait for my orders. Contact me when all are in position. His sons said we will be underway in minutes and will contact you when in place. Both said take care dad, and Goldie said you too my boys. Goldie said I need to talk to Tim now and Mac said he already had him on the line. Goldie said it’s time to move out Tim. Get the men in position and out of sight then contact me when you are all in place. Tim said we will be moving in a few moments.

Now I need to talk to Brian. A moment later the radio operator said Brian is on the line. Goldie said it’s a go buddy how soon can you get the men together. Brian said all is ready they are just waiting for the call. Goldie advised him of the expected time of arrival of the feds. He said get all ten thousand ready at Antioc with rations for several days and full supply of ammo. Have them and drivers stand by then wait for my orders. We hope they will not be needed but they must be ready to move in if it becomes necessary. Brian said our company leaders are here with me now and all is set we will wait for your call. Goldie said good work Brian talk to you later. Mac said well all is set top and we are ready to move out when you give the word. Goldie said we will wait until Tim and the boys check in then meet up with them, so for a little while we can relax here.

The radio operator said Richard and the Captain are on the line. Goldie said morning Richard what are you and the captain working on. Richard said first how does it look where you are? Goldie advised him it looks like the feds will arrive here in about four hours. Our people are moving into their positions as we speak and our reserve forces are in place and ready. We will pick our time then initiate contact with the federal troops as planned. The Captain said you have fifteen thousand getting in position now with another ten in reserve. Goldie replied yes we are in good shape here. Richard said we believe you can handle the problem there so we are mobilizing some of our people here in Indiana and northern Kentucky. He added we have been advised the troops are on the move out of fort Knox and it looks like they are sending more than first thought. It now appears a full regiment of thirty five hundred are on the move. We intend to intercept those forces before they can reach your location and interfere with your operation.

Goldie asked, where do you intend to meet them? Richard said we are told their planned route will take them north of Cincinnati then off the interstate on route 22. We have traveled and studied the routes and feel we can bottle them up in the area on route 22 just north of the town of morrow. That is wooded terrain both sides the highway with no side roads they can escape on. Right Goldie said good location for an ambush, how many men do you plan to throw into this. Richard said we have twenty thousand from southeast Indiana and our friends in Kentucky are already moving another ten thousand north. I and my staff will be located at the old campgrounds near the town of Clarksville where I can communicate with you and Wallace and Scott who will be leading the attack here. Keep me advised of your situation .

Tim called to say his people were in position and other vehicles were moving to meet the reserves. Goldie said good we are on our way and will meet you in thirty minutes at the old mill by your drop off point. Tim said see you there. Goldie told the men it’s time lets mount up. They arrived to find Tim and two other men waiting inside the old mill. Goldie told the drivers return to our base camp and wait, when this operation is over we will contact you. Tim asked have you heard from the others. Goldie said not yet but they have a little farther to come than us we should hear from them shortly. Then he advised Tim of the new developments and Richards people moving to take on the feds coming out of Kentucky. Tim said good we won’t have to be concerned about them. Mac said this is shaping up to be a real test of our ability to cover our whole sector but we have the men to do it. The radio operator came over and said Joshua and James reported in both have their men dispersed in positions. Goldie said get them back on and have the boys meet us here.

A short time later the boys showed up and walked over to meet their father. The fact Richards people were taking on the Kentucky feds was good news to them. They discussed the coming operation making sure all bases were covered. Goldie said the feds should be coming in within an hour or so, it’s time we join the troops. When the action starts it will be fast and furious but remember you guys just hold tight until told by me or Mac to enter the action. He slapped the boys on the back and said we will come through this ok. He watched as his sons started thru the woods then told Tim and Mac lets go. A half mile later they set up at a frontal position along the line where Tim had the men positioned. Goldie told Tim contact your leaders and advise we are in place then told Mac check out the mortar and rocket squads and the surface to air protection. He got James and Joshua on the radio and they confirmed they were back with their men and all was go. Later Mac and Tim came back and reported everyone is set. Goldie said ok now we wait.

The wait wasn’t long. They heard the vehicles before they came into view approaching the entrance to the old base. They watched as troops jumped out of the first three vehicles and some started taking up defensive positions around the perimeter and others started checking out the warehouse buildings. The trucks and troop carriers were moving in now and troops began spilling out of the vehicles in full field gear. Fuel tankers and what was probably supply trucks began pulling into an area between the warehouses. Several armored vehicles came into view and Goldie said there’s the command personnel. Mac said yea and more troop carriers following them. Some thirty minutes later it appeared the entire convoy had now arrived. Troops were now starting to unload supplies and equipment into one of the warehouses while others were walking the perimeter.

It wasn’t long until Mac said well they found the rangers now they know we are on to them. They watched from their position as several officers walked over to the guard shack. One threw his hat on the ground then picked it up and waved his arms. The men started carrying the bodies into the warehouse. Goldie said nows the time. Have the rocket squads get the fuel tankers first then the supply trucks. Train the mortars on the troop staging areas and the building where they are unloading supplies. Lets make them come after us. Mac said it’s done top, the squads have their orders. Seconds later the muffled sound of rocket launchers and mortar fire was heard followed by explosions in the base area. One fuel tanker then another exploded and several supply vehicles were destroyed. They could see the men running trying to move vehicles behind the warehouses but the rocket and mortar men were right on target and ma`ny vehicles were already destroyed.

Here they come Mac yelled as about a battalion size force of one thousand men were seen moving towards their positions. He ordered the men to use the fifty calibers while they are still off in the distance. The unmistakable sound of several fifty caliber machine guns were soon heard and some of the charging troops could be seen falling while others were spreading out and still advancing. Here comes the others Mac said looks like one battalion moving right and one to the left and another is moving up behind their front. Let them come Goldie said wait until they are in range then order all your men to fire and withdraw firing as we fall back. Moments later the feds could be seen now moving into the four hundred meter range. Goldie said now Tim throw all your men into it, fire and withdraw, fire and withdraw.

The orders were given and soon the noise became defeafening as all five thousand of Tim’s troops commenced firing. Goldie yelled pass the word pull back but keep firing at will. They had fallen back several hundred meters now and Mac said they are trying to flank us on both sides and Goldie said pass the orders to keep firing but fall back now at full retreat until we cross the stream behind us. Tim’s men responded as planned and continued to fire while withdrawing at a faster pace. Fire was coming their way now from the right and left flanks as the feds sought to trap them.

As they crossed the stream Goldie yelled now Mac, give the order for James to move in from his position. Goldie’s hope was that as those men entered the action the federal forces trying to outpace them would see this threat to their frontal companies and move toward the middle to reinforce those troops. The battle raged on for several hours and as dusk approached Goldie contacted Joshua and said bring your force in now and attack their positions. We have them sandwiched between us on three sides Mac yelled the only way they can go now is back or take a pounding. Goldie said don’t let them back out, train the mortars to open up on the rear of their force, don’t let them retreat. Mac said they have taken severe losses but Tim, James, and Joshua all report their losses are light and none are being left behind. Goldie told Tim hold our positions now in the center to stop them where they are, we have them cut off, pound them now with all we have.

Darkness had set in and still the battle raged. Goldie yelled to his radio man get Brian on the radio. Goldie took the radio and said brain get your men loaded up. Bring them around to the old airport entrance road and cut off the south side of the base and clear out the buildings. Mac said good that will take care of the headquarters command and block any attempt to retreat to the base. Most of the firing now is coming from our own people Goldie, Mac said, we have them hurting. Goldie said order the fifties to move in again with heavy fire with some mortar mixed in and see what response we get. Goldie said I can’t believe they came here without heavy artillery support and mortar unless we caught them before they could unload it. The fifty calibers and mortars commenced firing then let up as ordered. Only sporadic firing was coming now from the federal force. Nearly sixteen hours had passed since the battle began when Brian came over the radio. We have secured the base and captured their command Goldie, some of those fighting you are straggling back here and we are securing them as they come in. Their commander wants to signal their men to surrender and give up the fight.

Goldie said tell the commander to do so and we will spare all who give up. We will hold our position here until all resistance had stopped. Brian said it is done, the commander has issued surrender orders to those leaders he has left. He has ordered his men to lay down their arms, collect their dead and wounded, and return to the base. Goldie yelled to Tim order your men to cease firing but hold their positions until daybreak. He said Mac, get James and Joshua on the line. Advise them to stop all firing but hold their positions until daybreak. The orders were given and the night became silent. Goldie contacted his sons and was told their casualties were light. He said care for your wounded sons, you did a hell of a job this day. Tim came on saying he had light casualties and his men are taking care of his wounded. Goldie told him your men can be proud of the job they done this day. Your men had the toughest part in this and stood the test with flying colors.

Goldie took his radio and contacted Richard to advise him of the status of his men. Richard said good God man you mean it’s over and Goldie said all but waiting for daybreak to finish the clean up. How goes it there. Richard said we hit them hard here on the highway destroyed many of their vehicles. We had a two hour firefight with those who made a stand of it. The captain and others are in a running fight with some who are on foot. We expect this operation to be over within the hour. Goldie said we are going to have to make a decision of what to do with the prisoners and the dead and wounded. Richard said when both operations have ended we will all get together and decide what to do with them. Goldie said ok it’s getting light we will sweep the area and see what the numbers are then advise. Richard said well done friend stay in contact.
