With wide eyes she stares back at me.

“Anything?”

“Yep, I have something I want to do to you…and no it’s not sexual, well, at least not
yet
.”

I watch as she bites down on her lower lip, sending a signal to my cock.

Fuck me!

Moving her quickly through the bar, I need to get her out of here before I pull her into the restroom and have my way with her.

We each get into the car and I make my way down the highway. I’m not sure if she’ll let me do what I want, but it’s worth a try.

Pulling in along the curb, the guys are already gone and the lights are out.

Perfect timing.

Getting out, I run to her side and open the door.

“I’m confused, why are we at the shop? Did you forget something?”

Shaking my head, I look down to her.

“Do you trust me, Etty?”

“Well,
that’s
a loaded question, Dault.”

An uneasy feeling pulls in my stomach; that was
not
the answer I was looking for. Trust is a big thing and maybe I should have worded my question differently.

How could I think she’d trust me so soon? I’ve done nothing but treat her like shit for the past few weeks leading up to this.

This was a mistake.

I snap out of my depressive daze with the touch of her hand on my face. She pulls my head toward her and I see the look of regret in her eyes.

“I’m sorry; I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just that we’re just moving into this relationship. I’m not one to jump on the trust bandwagon as quickly as others.”

“I know and I shouldn’t have said it like that.”

“It okay, we’re taking this day by day. Trust will be built through time, and I just need time.”

Nodding my head, I reach for her hand and pull it into mine.

“Slow and steady wins the race, right?”

With a smile on her face, she nods her head back to me.

“Exactly, so tell me why we’re here.”

Letting out a heavy sigh, I’m second guessing whether I should still go through with this.

“Etty, you’re one of the strongest, most courageous women I’ve ever met. You remind me so much of someone it’s crazy. I brought you here to tattoo you.”

“What?” she asks, her eyes wide and bright against the light of the street lamp.

“I know its nuts, but I want this to be a first for us. It would mean a lot to me if you’d let me ink your skin. I have the perfect image in my mind and everything. I drew it up yesterday and wanted to tell you, I just didn’t know when or how we would do it.”

“Dault, this is insane…in a good way. I’d love for you to give me a tat. I wanna see it.”

With a wide grin on my face, I pull her toward Cursed Magic. Unlocking the door, we walk in and switch on the lights. Together, we walk through the waiting area, down the hall, and into my room.

I tucked the paper in my top drawer for safekeeping.

Holding it out for her to see, she gasps.

“Oh my god, Dault, it’s beautiful.”

Sitting on my stool, I feel a sense of pride warp through me. It didn’t take me much time to draw it up, it was set into my mind. I created an infinity sign with birds surrounding the words
strength
and
courage
; it’s perfect for her.

“You like it?” I ask, anticipation filling my soul.

“Like? I love it! When are we doing it?”

“Right now, if you want.”

Acting like a little girl on Christmas morning, she starts clapping her hands, a huge smile all over her face.

“Yes, please. It’s so perfect, Dault, thank you so much.”

She falls onto my lap and wraps her arms around my neck.

“I’m glad you like it, babe. Let me get some stuff set up and we’ll get started. Do you know where you want it?”

Nodding her head, she grabs the bottom of her shirt and pulls it up over her head. Reaching behind her back, she points to the spot between her shoulder blades. It’s exactly where I would have chosen to set it.

Chapter 24

With a mirror in my hand I stare at the reflection of Dault’s masterpiece. It looks incredible; I can’t believe he drew this for me.

I’ve gotten so many tattoos in my life and I have to say this one is my absolute favorite. He took his time, using the gentlest strokes of the ink gun to mark me. This was a moment for us, a stepping stone for great things to come. I may have my guard up for more than one reason, but I know that in time the brick wall I have surrounding my heart will break and fall apart for him.

“It’s looks great, Etty. I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever done; so simple yet so intricate.”

“I love it so much,” I reply, looking back into the mirror.

“I’m glad. Now let’s get it covered up for a bit.”

I set down the mirror and turn my back to him as he applies some gel and covers up the tat.

Taking a seat on his stool, I watch as he cleans up his area. I love seeing him in action. This is his passion and I’ve just become a part of his world by allowing him to put his signature work on my skin.

“Okay, babe, I’m ready when you are.”

“Oh, I’m ready, let’s go.”

Reaching my hand out to him, he grabs onto me and leads me out of the shop.

While getting into the car he turns to look at me, taking my face in his hands.

“I’m taking you home now, Etty. I’ve waited long enough to be with you and I can’t wait much longer.”

Biting down on my lower lip, I nod my head and look into his eyes.

“Get us home, Dault, I’m all yours.”

A sensation of yearning pulls at my core and my imagination gets away from me. The first time I was with Dault was one of the best sexual experiences of my life. I can’t bring myself to expect any less this time. Our feelings are growing, our connection is stronger, and the bond we’ll be able to make tonight will be so much better.

Anticipation fills my heart, soul, and mind as we take the short drive home from the shop to the house.

I feel giddy; it’s unreal how much I’m looking forward to being with him right now.

He pulls the car up next to our house and jumps out before I can blink an eye. I guess he’s just as excited as I am…well, I
hope
he is.

Opening the door, he reaches in for my hand and helps me out. Side by side, we walk along the concrete path leading up to the house.

My eyes land on all three of the guys sitting outside on the porch, smoking.

“Hey, lovebirds, how was your night?” Linc asks, standing and walking toward me.

He pulls me in for a hug and then steps back.

“It was amazing. Did he tell you what we were going to be doing?” I ask while receiving hugs from Steve and Cliff.

“Yeah, we kinda heard about it all night from Ashley. Those two were a plotting machine yesterday.”

I look at Dault who now has a scowl on his face.

“Shut up, Linc, now my secret is out.”

Letting out a giggle, I pull myself up next to him.

“Tonight was amazing, Dault. I don’t care if anyone helped you plan it out.”

Shaking his head, he punches Linc in the arm.

“So let us see,” Steve says, moving Linc and Dault out of his way.

Dault helps to pull the crew neck of my shirt down just enough to expose his work. Peeling the tape and film off of my skin, I hear the guys comment to Dault how great it looks. I feel a sense of pride for him and his work, especially since the guys all agree.

Turning back to face the crew, I give a smile up to Dault. He looks so happy and I can tell he’s feeling proud as well.

“Well, we’ll leave you two be, we’re just inside playing cards if you get bored,” Linc remarks with a wink.

Steve and Cliff start to laugh as they walk back inside the house.

“Oh wait, Jo is able to come home tomorrow. I already talked to Steve and he’s okay with taking me to the hospital.”

“That’s great. If there’s anything we can do, let us know,” I respond.

“Nah, we’ll be good to go. The shop is closed tomorrow so I just plan on making sure she’s comfortable once she gets here.”

I lean into Linc and give him a hug, whispering
thank you
into his ear. Pulling away, he smiles back at me with a wink.

While on the porch, I watch as he goes back into the house, shutting the door behind him. Dault takes my hand in his as I unlock the knob and walk through the doorway.

Without pausing for a second, he moves us straight up the stairs and into my room.

Shutting the door with the back of his foot, he pulls me into him, crashing his lips into mine. With his body pressed firmly against me, I can feel his growing cock up against my belly.

This kiss isn’t soft and slow like before—it’s rushed, hard, and full of urgency. He lifts the hem of my shirt, breaking the kiss just long enough for him to pull it up and over my head. Our lips meet again and his tongue sweeps into my mouth. A moan escapes him as my fingertips take the bottom of his shirt in my hands. Standing on my tiptoes, I attempt to pull it over his head, his hat getting caught.

I let out a laugh as he helps me by removing his hat and taking his shirt off.

“Why do I feel like we’re rushing this?”

“Yeah, I’m feeling the same way. I just need to be with you, Etty, it’s been too long.”

Nodding my head, I run my fingers over his chest and down his abs.

With trembling hands, I unfasten the button of his jeans and slide them down his legs. Now on my knees, I shift his boxers down ‘til they fall to the ground.

Staring up at him through hooded eyes, I reach for his length, slowly stroking it in my hand.

His body bucks next to mine and his hands fall into my hair.

Moving forward, I pull him into my mouth, taking him as far as I can. Swirling my tongue along his pulsing vein, he pulls onto my hair and lets out a groan.

Feeling a bit of encouragement, I increase my speed, sucking, licking, and enjoying the man standing before me. With one hand stroking him into my mouth, I take the other and begin to massage his balls. I can feel them start to tighten and I suck him back in, pulling out slowly as I graze my teeth against his hardness.

Lost in the moment, I feel his hands move from the back of my head to beneath my arms. He lifts me to my feet and again crashes into me with a kiss. I can’t get enough of his skin against mine. He sucks my tongue into his mouth while running his hands along my back, unfastening my bra.

Pulling away from the kiss, he reaches his hands back into my hair, lifting it from my back and shoulders.
