ROW 1:
Knit 1 st ∗ knit wrapping yarn 3x around one needle, repeat from ∗ end with K1.

ROW 2:
Knit across dropping extra loops.

ROWS 3 through 5:
Knit across.

Change to second color.

Repeat Rows 1 through 5.

Change to third color.

Repeat Rows 1 through 5.

Change to fourth color.

Repeat Rows 1 through 5.

Knit 5 rows in garter.

Bind off loosely.

FINISHING

Cast on 24 sts. Proceed as follows:

ROW 1:
Knit 4 sts in seed, place marker. ∗ Knit 2nd st on left needle by going in back of 1st st. Do not remove from needle. Knit 1st st, then remove both sts from needle. Knit 2nd st by going in front of 1st st, knit 1st st, and remove both at the same time. ∗ Repeat from ∗ to ∗ to the last 4 sts. Place marker, knit 4 sts in seed.

ROW 2:
Knit 4 sts in seed. Purl across. Knit 4 sts in seed.

After 4 rows of pattern, work 2 rows of rabbit fur in pattern.

Continue repeating rows 1 and 2 with Forbidden only to desired length.

Reverse fur placement before the last 4 rows of your work.

Bind off loosely in pattern.

Change to Kross and proceed in pattern as follows (pattern is a multiple of 5 + 3 sts):

ROW 1:
K1, P1 through back loop (tbl). K1 ∗ P2, K1, P1 tbl, K1 ∗ repeat from ∗ to ∗ across the row.

ROW 2:
P1, K1 tbl, P1 ∗ K1, YO, K1, P1, K1 tbl, P1 ∗ repeat from ∗ to ∗ across the row.

ROW 3:
K1, P1 tbl, K1 ∗ P3, K1, P1 tbl, K1 ∗ repeat from ∗ to ∗ across the row.

ROW 4:
P1, K1 tbl, P1 ∗ K3, pass 2 sts over the 1st (PSSO), P1, K1 tbl, P1 ∗ repeat from ∗ to ∗ across the row.

Work in pattern until the hat measures 8". Knit 1 row decreasing 10 sts evenly (58 sts).

Purl 2 sts together across the row (29 sts). Cut yarn leaving a tail long enough to sew seam down the side. Thread a yarn needle. Pull through all remaining sts on needle, tighten up. Pull yarn around circle formed by tightened sts, fasten up, and sew seam.

22″

Cast on 50 sts with Zucca. Place marker. Join, taking care not to twist your sts.

K1, P1 rib for 3 rows.

Continue in garter for 1 “. (When you knit in the round garter becomes stockinette.)

Change to 1 strand of Zucca and 1 strand of Aura, purl for 3 rows.

Change to Zucca, knit for 3 rows.

Change to 1 strand of Bouton D’Or Dune and 1 strand of Aura, purl for 6 rows.

Change to Zucca, knit for 2".

Change to Aura and Bouton D’Or Dune ∗ P2tog ∗ repeat to end. Repeat this round one time more.

Cut yarn leaving a 10” tail. Thread a yarn needle, pull through all remaining sts on needle one at a time, tighten up, and fasten off.
