Size 8 circular 16″

Rib: K1, P1
Seed stitch

21 ″

Cast on 84 sts. Place marker. Join, taking care not to twist your sts.

K1, P1 rib for 4 rows or ½”.

Continue in seed stitch until piece measures 5".

Divide work in 4 quarters of 21 sts each.

Work each triangle separately as follows:

Working on first 21 sts. Place remaining 3 quarters on stitch holders.

K2tog at each end of row until 1 st remains.

Repeat on each of three remaining triangles. Then K2tog sts 2x and bind off.

Sew seams with mattress stitch.

Cast on 36 sts.

Work in stockinette until piece measures 44". Bind off loosely.

Sew seams 11” on each end of piece for armhole shaping. With 2 strands of cotton, single crochet all around body of shrug.

With size 11 needles pick up 48 sts on the narrow part of your work.

Next row: K2tog across the row = 24 sts. Next row: K2tog across the row = 12 sts. K1, P1 pattern for 8". Repeat pick–up process on other side.

FINISHING

Single crochet around entire piece. Follow with one row of reverse crochet or crab stitch. Select closure of choice.

With size 15 needles cast on 50 sts. Work 14 rows in stockinette, 3 rows in seed stitch, 2 rows in garter, 1 row in double wrap, 2 rows in garter. Continue in stockinette until piece measures 28".

Bind off loosely.

With circular size 13 needles, pick up and knit 64 sts around the neck. K1, P1 for 1½

Single crochet around entire piece.

With Ola work 1 row of single crochet (sc) followed by 1 row of crochet shell ∗ 1 double crochet in first sc 5x in the same st, 3 sc in next 3 sts ∗ repeat all around the blanket.
