“I thought it was only rumoured to be there. I always believed that if it was there, surely someone would have stolen it by now. Obviously not.” said Paul.

“And I'm glad that they never.” Draylon paused, “I am going to get it; I am going to borrow the tablet within the Ark. It is a just cause; this is about the protection of mankind,” said Draylon excited by his decision.

“Time's getting on Draylon, we need to get out of here while it is still dark.” said Paul.

“OK. Would you like to come to the Amazon with me and Karlon?” asked Draylon with a smile, guessing that Paul would decline.

“Tempting as it is, I think I'll enjoy Egypt for a couple of days and then make my way back to Easter Island. I've gotten used to my little comforts I'm afraid.” said Paul feeling a little guilty.

“No need to feel guilty my friend, I understand completely.” said Draylon hearing Paul's thoughts loud and clear.

They made their way out of the pyramid and made a dash to safety under the cover of darkness. Paul wished them well and made his way back to the hotel, yawning as he went.

Draylon activated his outfit, and Karlon stood back surprised at Draylon's alternate identity. Draylon asked Karlon to climb on his back and hold on tight. He bent his knees and gently leapt taking flight. As Karlon became more confident Draylon accelerated, but not too fast. An hour later they arrived at the Amazon where the craft was buried beneath the earth.

Draylon deactivated his outfit, and then he spun at super speed and went down into the earth like a drill boring into the ground for oil. Seconds later the ground trembled. Karlon stood back and clung on to a tree for stability. The craft emerged. Draylon placed it down on the level ground and then opened it up. Karlon walked around the saucer stroking his chin and assessing the scope of the work involved in the restoration of the large silver craft.

“We can do this my son, but first, I need sleep,” said Karlon looking weary again.

“That's great,” said Draylon smiling at his father. “I keep thinking that I'm going to wake up in a minute, this is all so very surreal.”

Karlon placed his hand on Draylon's shoulder, “I will spend my life making amends for my actions, thank you for giving me the opportunity.”

“Thank you for helping me, and I have already forgiven you. Now, I must go, sleep well.”

Draylon activated his outfit, bent his knees and leapt; he shot into the sky like a lightning bolt, destination Ethiopia, the resting place of the Ark of the Covenant.

Chapter Three – Ethiopia

It was Saturday the 21st of September 2013 at 5.30 a.m. Draylon landed not far from the chapel under cover of darkness, but light would be coming soon.

The chapel is a small box shaped building, with long rectangular windows on each side. There are several steps leading up to the main entrance, and the building is protected by a perimeter fence and gate. The area is heavily guarded as it contains the Ark of the Covenant, and therefore it is one of the holiest places in existence on Earth.

Draylon knew that no one but the head priest of the church, not even the president of Ethiopia is allowed to see the sacred Ark. Therefore, he knew that once inside he only needed to slip past one man.

Draylon assessed the area for guards; he chose his moment, and then shot past all of them at the speed of light, unnoticed. He was inside the chapel. A dark skinned man, with a grey beard, wearing a black robe with red patterns was sat just inside the chapel, sleeping lightly. Draylon focused his telepathic ability, and accessing the head priests mind, he sent him into a very deep sleep.

Draylon relaxed and turned toward a stone altar at the far end of the chapel. Rested on top of the altar was a golden box of magnificent beauty, it had inscriptions all over it that Draylon could not decipher. There were golden rings on it so that it could be carried, and there was a stunning golden lid upon it, sealing its secrets within from the world of men. Despite its age it shone so brightly, almost as if it was alive and had a soul.

Draylon approached it. He then placed his hands on the lid, and it would not open. He didn't want to force it, as it was an ornament belonging to God. He didn't know what to do. He thought that maybe he wasn't supposed to have whatever was inside. He slumped against the wall and sat staring at the Ark, lost in thought.

Minutes later Draylon noticed movement behind the stone altar. It was a snake; it came slithering towards Draylon. It was almost two metres in length, but Draylon did not fear it, he just sat and watched. It came closer and closer, its tongue flicking out, and hissing as it drew nearer and nearer. Draylon held out his arm and the snake made its way calmly towards his shoulder and then paused. Draylon blinked and then stood suddenly. The snake was no longer a snake. It was now a wooden staff.

Draylon held it in front of him. It towered just above his head and emanated a strange power. It was a plain wooden staff, it was rough around the edges and slightly buckled, but looks can be deceiving. Draylon looked towards the Ark and tapped the staff once on the floor. The lid of the Ark became slightly ajar.

The staff suddenly became a snake again, and it slithered away behind the Ark and seemed to vanish. Draylon approached the golden Ark. He put his hands to the lid and gently lifted it with ease and then placed it down gently on the floor. He looked inside. A small stone tablet lay at the bottom. Draylon reached in and picked it up, it fit neatly in his hand. He was stunned when he saw the symbol on its face. It was the logo that was on the amulet that gave to him his power. It is on his outfit that defines his new identity, and now it exists on a tablet found in the Ark of the Covenant. Draylon knew but one thing, he was meant to find it; this was his destiny.

Draylon placed the lid back on the Ark, and it sealed shut. He turned to walk out.

“Stop!” said a voice behind him.

Draylon turned to see a tall well-built black man with a shaven head and the most intense blue eyes. He wore a black skin-tight outfit, like Draylon's disguise without the head mask. The outfit clung to his well-muscled shape, and he spoke with a deep commanding tone.

“You must be…”

“My name is Uriel. I believe you have met my brother Gabriel?”

Draylon smiled, “I am honoured to meet you.”

“And I am honoured to meet you too Draylon.” Uriel held out his hand, “The tablet. May I?”

Draylon handed the tablet to Uriel without question. Uriel held it in his palm, and then closed his hand to crush it. He then opened his hand and blew the dust away. Draylon was shocked to see a bright silver metallic tablet remained. Uriel asked Draylon to open his hand. He then placed the tablet in Draylon's palm. The metallic tablet dispersed in seconds into Draylon, working its way throughout his entire body and infusing every last molecule.

“You possess great power Draylon, and now you have the power of teleportation. This gift is not given lightly. Use it with great care, and be sure that your mind is clear and focused before you open a portal. Used incorrectly the effects could be catastrophic.”

“You have my word, I promise to use it wisely.”

Uriel smiled, “I know you will. Now, do not forget to see Grindor, he will need to let the pale green alien race know of your new plan. And I believe that the craft that you found at Nazca will serve your father well. I must go; it has been pleasant to finally meet with you brother.

“It has been nice to meet you too Uriel, farewell.”

Uriel bowed his head and then vanished. The head priest was starting to stir, Draylon ran to the entrance of the chapel, he then bent his knees and leapt, he shot into the sky like a flaming bullet, destination the Roswell crash site.

He landed at the crash site; it was late evening and dark. He called out to Grindor. Minutes later Draylon could see his breath, and the hairs on his neck stood on end, he felt a shiver. He turned to see Grindor.

“Hello Grindor, nice to see you again.” said Draylon.

“You are making a habit of this Draylon son of Karlon,” said Grindor with a smile.

“It would seem. I need to ask another favour of you, I am sorry.”

“Ask away.”

“I need you to pass on a message to Brandlin, to meet at a halfway point between here and Terspheriton in one year.”

“As you wish.” said Grindor.

“I am indebted to you Grindor, thank you!”

With that, Grindor vanished into thin air leaving Draylon alone in the dark.

Draylon shot off to the Amazon. When he arrived his father was asleep, Draylon was careful not to wake him. He found himself a tree to lean against and then slipped into a blissful sleep.

Chapter Four – The Amazon

Draylon awoke at nine a.m. sharp on Saturday 21st of September 2013. He was feeling a little hungry and so decided to wake Karlon to see what he would like to break his fast. He gently shook Karlon, and he awoke immediately startled with a fixed stare. He then blinked and shook his large head.

“I'm awake, what is wrong?” said Karlon wiping the sleepy dust from eyes.

Draylon grinned, “Nothing is wrong. I just wondered what you would like for breakfast.”

“Insects aren't on the menu?” said Karlon smiling.

“We are vegetarian, how is it that you decided upon insects as your food stuff?”

“To be honest, it wasn't like I could go to the market and buy a loaf of bread. I ate what I had to, to survive.” said Karlon.

“Poor things.”

“I thought you'd see it that way. Believe me they didn't taste very nice either.”

Draylon grimaced at the thought. “So, what would you like for breakfast then father?”

“Some bread would be nice, and some water.”

“I'm still trying to get used to you using the spoken word,” said Draylon with a smile. “Did you forget that I went in search of the tablet last night?” he said looking at Karlon curiously.

“Oh, forgive me. Did you find it?”

“I shall tell you all about it, but first, I shall go and get breakfast.”

Draylon put his hand on his wristband, and focused his technopathic ability. His wristband expanded at lightning speed, enveloping Draylon with his disguise, a disguise that is commonly known as The Terspheritonian. He bent his knees and leapt into the sky, cutting through the clouds like a Concorde. Karlon looked up in awe, stunned at what his creation, his biological son had become.

Draylon was back in minutes. He handed the freshly baked bread and a large bottle of water to Karlon. For himself he had bought three Monster Ripper energy drinks, a V8 to get his nourishment, and a pint of milk for protein. Karlon munched on his bread, astonished at the amount of fluid Draylon was beginning to consume. His nose twitched when Draylon opened the canned drink.

“What is that sweet smelling fluid?”

“This father is a Monster Ripper, a wonderful drink. I bought three because I had hoped that you'd try one.”

He handed the can to his dad. Karlon put the can to his lips and poured the whole contents down his throat. He looked up and gasped his eyes wide open. Draylon laughed loudly.

“It is better enjoyed when you sip,” said Draylon still laughing.

“What a strange sensation, I feel as if I have sped up all of a sudden.” said Karlon, intrigued at the way his body was reacting to the drink.

“It contains a stimulant called caffeine, although I am unaffected by it now since I obtained my new abilities, I still love the flavour. I am very much a fluid person I believe.” said Draylon once again, laughing at his father.

Draylon eased back and told Karlon everything that had happened in Ethiopia. Karlon sat wide-eyed munching at his bread and drinking his water, as he listened intently to everything that Draylon said.

“So, all we need to do now is get this craft working. I'll make my initial assessment of the power source and you can be on cosmetics. Your enhanced ability to manipulate matter should have this ship shape in no time at all.” said Karlon.

Karlon opened a compartment within the large metallic craft, and pulled out a kit of highly advanced tools for the job. He then opened up other compartments that Draylon hadn't even noticed, and he started checking all of the circuitry. Draylon got to work on the exterior of the craft. He focused his ability to manipulate matter, and carefully started to mould the damaged craft into shape.

Days came and went and they both focused all of their efforts on the restoration of the mighty saucer. The outside of the craft was just about done and Draylon applied the finishing touches. Karlon was completely focused, working on every last tiny detail of the craft's power source.

It was Saturday the 28th of September 2013. The big day. Draylon stood back, and Karlon activated the craft. The power went on, the saucer hummed, all of the instruments within the craft began to illuminate. Draylon could smell smoke. He was just about to yell when the power shut off and everything went quiet.

“It's the power source Draylon. I am sorry. There is nothing I can do,” said Karlon, slumping his shoulders, saddened that he could not help his son.

Draylon smiled, “Do not worry Father, we have another. I'll be back!”

Draylon activated his outfit, bent his knees and leapt. Up, up and away he went toward Nazca, the place of the ancient geoglyphs etched into the Earth's surface.

When he arrived at the wide end of the landing strip in Nazca, he immediately got to work digging out about two feet of earth. He then manipulated matter to clear the area of hardened rock below, to reveal the circular metallic door of the age-old saucer. He placed his hand to the door and caused it to open. The sunlight lit up the inside of the craft, just enough for Draylon to be able to see clear enough to access the ships power source. He removed several panels inside the craft to reveal the power source. It was like a giant cylindrical battery with a flawless hardened metallic exterior. The power contained within it was nuclear. Draylon handled it very carefully. He started to exit and couldn't help but notice the crippled bodies within the five incubators. He said a silent prayer and left, tidying as he went, to make it look as if no one had ever disturbed the earth since the Nazca Lines first came to be. Draylon bent his knees and leapt into the deep blue sky, destination, The Amazon.
