'Why?'

I pause before slowly admitting it. 'Because I need you to,
Master.'

So he strikes me again and again and again, leaving viciouslooking
stripes all over my body, and I cry, not so much from
the pain now but from the knowledge of what I have just

Eventually he releases me and I collapse into his arms still
sobbing, I say sorry over and over again, for not doing well,
