Shave the balls.
For a smooth, lickable scrotum, the skin should be hanging loose, not withdrawn and frightened. Use your fingertips to gently stretch the skin down, creating a smooth, taut surface that the blade can glide across easily.Apply the light-touch rule above.
Do not rush!

Shave the shaft.
Start the blade where the hair begins, and use long, light, strokes to shave in the direction the hair grows.
Shave between the cheeks.
After a good trimming, carefully glide the razor from the center outward, toward his cheeks. Never shave up, down or inward.
Ouch!
If you’re careful, and your blade stays sharp, he shouldn’t get nicked. But if he does, press a tissue firmly against the nick for a couple minutes till it clots. Then apply aloe vera gel.
The grand finale.
Carefully rinse everything with warm water and pat dry. Apply a non-stinging, alcohol- and fragrance-free, hypoallergenic aftershave balm or gel to soothe and moisturize—but hold off on this till later if you’re about to have sex.

Slippery Stuff

I
’m always curious when a woman tells me she’s never used a sex lubricant—or gave up after a ho-hum experience with just one. She doesn’t know what she’s missing!

A good lube is essential for great handjobs and good sex. It’ll do more than prevent chafing and irritation—it’ll actually “wake up” pleasure receptors in your skin.Touch that feels good before lube feels more alive the instant you apply it. I don’t know how any guy could stand a handjob without it!

Good lubes are so widely available, it’s easy to find the right one for you and your guy. Look in drugstores and supermarkets near the condoms or feminine-protection sections, and in sex toy stores and lingerie boutiques. Or just go online.

But don’t be intimidated by the choices—lightweight, heavyweight, ultra-thick, water-, silicone-, oil-based, flavored, natural. I’m here to help glide you down the pleasure path to figure out which one you can start slathering all over your guy’s penis, your toys, and each other. C’
mon!

Nature’s Lubricant

Did you know you’ve already got a dispenser full of sex lube with you? Saliva.

This cost-free natural liquid is everyone’s instant lube for tongue kissing, but it’s often overlooked as a great starter lube for handjobs. Of course, most people simply can’t keep up with the demand, so they have a bottle of lube on hand, too.

To keep your saliva flowing, remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day, and keep a glass by the bedside to wet your mouth. To increase your liquid output, try massaging yourself right under the jaw to jumpstart your salivary glands, or suck on sour candy.

Water-Based Lubes

0 is necessary for life, and now it’s essential for the slipperiest sex, too.

Water-based lubricants are today’s best, safest starter lubes. They come in free-flowing liquids, or longer-lasting jellies and gels; and in fruity flavors to add zest to oral sex. A few are even FDA-approved for vaginal use, which also means they’re safe to use with condoms.
