I have to say, writing this section the first time around was a hell of a lot easier. There were far less people to thank! So, hold on tight, this could be a long ride.
First and foremost, I have to thank my husband. Chris, you are my biggest supporter and I wouldn’t be where I am without you. There hasn’t been a single day since the beginning of this journey that you haven’t supported me and my dream….pushing me when I needed it, letting me quit my job!! Simply put…you are amazing.
Secondly, I have to thank my kids who are the cutest little cheerleaders ever. Even though I will never be as cool as J.K. Rowling, I am the second coolest author in the world and their love inspires me everyday.
I have an amazing family as a whole. Thank you so much to my parents, especially to my father for NOT reading my books. I greatly appreciate that. Mom - Thanks for being you. Jason - thanks for reading your little sister’s romance books, even if it’s creepy.
Leslie, my BFF…there wouldn’t be a Leah if I hadn’t met you. New writers often write what they know, and when I started writing Clare’s journey, I gave her a best friend….you. Now, Leah has her own story, but she was born from us, the raddest friendship ever.
Carey Heywood….thanks for not being a dill hole. Seriously. I’m so glad we live so close and have so much in common. It would have sucked if you were lame. Thanks for bitch sessions, and the strategy sessions.
