What the hell are you rambling about, Train?

We’re not around to push you forward anymore.

You’ve already been nudged enough times by lotsa Geeks anyway.

Why don’t you call up your courage and do it yourself for this final bit.

Said I, on the serious side, tho still worried (´A`)

you’ve been deregulated haven’t you . . .

don’t be down on yourself now, you’ve definitely changed.

you’re only a step away from graduating and leaving the Geeks behind.

If you’re quitting now then it won’t be any different when you meet someone other than Hermes.

When you’re talking about being with women, it’s about repeatedly pushing yourself from this point onwards.

Don’t give up before you’ve started, don’t compare yourself to Hermes and tell her that you will become a man worthy of her love.

All you need to do is focus on what’s good about yourself and develop it.

said I, married man that I yam.

I may be out of order mouthing off about Train who has turned into a top of the range in-crowd boy but even if you think Hermes is better than you, she wants you.

Not only that, you want Hermes too.

Which means there’s only one answer, no?

Her specs do seem way up there.

It reminds me of a girlfriend I had lo----ng ago who had very Hermes-like specs.

but hey

I had an inferiority complex too

and you know what, she wasn’t even thinking about it.

In the end, I was the one that pulled away after thinking too much about it.

And I regret it.

I don’t want Train to go through the same.

That’s right, her specs were way too high for me . . .

Even if we were to end up together

It’s pretty impossible for me and my specs to

keep her satisfied . . .

I was wrong to think wanting to pull myself away from the porn mags and my anorak interests was such an achievement on my part . . . because in fact I was trying to keep her from disliking me, not doing something to have her like me more . . . what a painful discovery . . .

I guess I’ll have to keep my hopes way down when I go this weekend (

Whoa, isn’t that like a slap in the face for her?

She’s not perfect either you know.

She’s bound to have her moments of weakness.

Before you mouth off about specs this and specs that why don’t you straighten yourself out and think about not giving up!!!!!!

I am one but you’re an anorak too, no?

You were really talking about Sailor Moon weren’t you?

So just think about Hermes as a different kind of anorak whether it’s teas or foreign languages.

I think if you redirect the energy that used to be poured into Sailor Moon to Hermes, you’ll be able to work out what needs to be done.

As I thought, coming to this thread gives me that boost of confidence.

you better give up the ghost! meet your maker twice!

no, no, go kick the bucket a couple of times!!!!

Romance is a different matter from sports or study.

what you need in sports and study is efforttalent.

If you’re going to give up so quickly, I don’t think you’ll last long but you should try telling yourself you won’t ever give up. Nobody can say how this will turn out but you should try the hardest you’ve ever tried in your life so you’ll have no regrets.

By tomorrow, I think you’ll forget that you wimped out today but, do you really think that the Hermes you fell for really fell just for the superficial you? And is Hermes the type of woman who can only see what’s on the surface? Train Man, you know best.

why, are you guys so awesome . . .

Let’s get this straight.

Hermes just took a little trip overseas and had an average time and came back, right?

It’s something that she worked her way up to but she’s doing it all very naturally.

Going out with Train, too, is something that she’s not being forced to do but something she’s doing because she wants to.

Then it all looks cool to me.

You’re not coming from the same place which means that you can’t do the things that she does

but you’re trying to walk with her now, right.

Don’t be so down on yourself.

Let me lay it out for you. Even before all this speaking English or going overseas or tea business, the fact that you went to Hermes’ house is a big huge deal, ok?

It’s not like you can go to a travel agent and buy a ticket to her house or anything. Nobody can teach you how to be invited to her place. Speaking English and going overseas, well you can figure those out with a bit of money and time.

We pretty much knew the spec imbalance from the start.

Anime anoraks being freaky weird animals is plain as daylight fact and she’s

a pretty girl from a nice family. From the beginning, the imbalance was there, a big huge crack that made it tough for you to see the other side.

If you keep babbling on and on you’re gonna make me hafta kick yo ass, for real.

So Train’s back on track?

Why don’t you think about what you want to do with Hermes, where you want to go and what you want to eat.

Imagine your future with Hermes.

Don’t let yourself get the better of you, go out there and grow with Hermes.

If you dedicate yourself to Hermes she will welcome you in for sure.

hey, have you not noticed?

we just refuelled the world’s most powerful bomber?

The countdown to the final battle continued as Train Man and the netizens of the thread fidgeted about restlessly.

Hey, finally returned.

I’m tired from going all over the place . . .

got some souvenirs, went around location scouting, dropped in at Akihabara . . .

I was e-mailing her during all this but when I wrote

‘I’m location scouting for a next date’

she replied with

(^3^)

wassup with the face . . .

I’m ready to go. All I can do is wait for the day of my final battle to arrive.
